You guys really jump into things.

Create the perfect seven member FPL team using any character from the current active database or any current FPL character from the historical Famous or Main Event winner database. Each of your seven characters must fall into these archetypes. Have fun. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Leader: Reed Richards, Magneto Takes charge and makes sure things get done. May not come up with the plans but oversees their execution. The Stolid: Thing, Cylops Doesn't change much. Always a reliable member of the team. You can count on them covering your back. The Wildcard: Gambit Has their own agenda. Usually very colorful. Will be valuable to the team but may not always follow orders depending on their own needs/plans. The Genius: Hank McCoy (Beast), Batman Comes up with the ideas. Often consulted for their vast knowledge or superhuman cunning. The Load/Comic Relief: Invisible Girl, The Wasp, Jubilee, Wonder Twins Often needs help from other team members. Often young or along because of a relationship to another team member. The Nutjob: Wolverine, Black Knight, The Hulk, Lobo, Rorschach Unpredictable, dangerous (sometimes sociopathic), and difficult to control or even influence. Why they are part of the team -- who knows? But when it comes to the dirty jobs, they get them done. The Diplomat: Dr. Xavier Deals with the "normals" on behalf of the team. Often acts as a "face-man" or smooths over problems with the authorities.

No thought, predictions or outbursts about the newest round? The excitement of this tournament will determine if I put the time and effort into a follow up tournament. So far... I'm meh'ing (Except for the great enthuisiam I'm getting from Exal, Nihilwhatever, Landon and a few others in their fics and/or set ups. -
I need to do one for Tony and see what I get.

Masuta Tengoku Lawful Good A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. She combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. She tells the truth, keeps her word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice. A lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished. Lawful good is the best alignment you can be because it combines honor and compassion.

Marshall Percy Chaotic Evil A chaotic evil character does whatever his greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive him to do. He is hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and unpredictable. If simply out for whatever he can get, he is ruthless and brutal. If he is committed to the spread of evil and chaos, he is even worse. Thankfully, his plans are haphazard, and any groups he joins or forms are poorly organized. Typically, chaotic evil people can only be made to work together by force, and their leader lasts only as long as he can thwart attempts to topple or assassinate him. The demented sorcerer pursuing mad schemes of vengeance and havoc is chaotic evil. Chaotic evil is sometimes called "demonic" because demons are the epitome of chaotic evil. Chaotic evil is the most dangerous alignment because it represents the destruction not only of beauty and life but of the order on which beauty and life depend.
-
Harvey Knoxville Chaotic Neutral A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn’t strive to protect others’ freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. The chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). The common phrase for chaotic neutral is "true chaotic." Remember that the chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it. Chaotic neutral is the best alignment you can be because it represents true freedom both from society’s restrictions and from a do-gooder’s zeal.

I can't bring on the reject bracket. They are automatically taken out the roster after defeat. Who knew! If they are available, feel free to do it yourselves. -

Round 2 is up. Vets, you may hate me now. -
I have an idea. Fill out one of these alignment tests in the voice of your character and see what you come up with.

I used to be Lawful Good, but hanging around the wrong crowd has made me Lawful Evil. I'm in therapy. Are we talking about characters?

I'm thinking since the vets got a bye round that they might have to get some stiff competition next round -- THEMSELVES! As for the guys who lost the first round, I'm thinking of throwing them against each other just for one in Round two. -

Darkender and Psuedo's match was closer than I thought. Could've went either way.
