  1. *Gabriel + Vinessa- Connor nods as Gabriel takes the brunt of the conversation. He directly loos at Vinessa and smirks kindly, it was much more subtle than an exaggerated smile he was used to using.

"Thanks for caring. Both of you. I'm sorry if it sounds lie I'm brushing off any suggestions, I only want to get across that I wont be a slouch in any respect". He then turns to focus on Gabriel again as he brings attention to the smell. Connor's nose in human form wasn't as finely turnd however so he only shrugged, vaguely remembering the original scent. When Gabriel commented on wanting to investigate further, he nods.

At the smirk, the vampire returned the expression almost involuntarily. As the moment passed the expression died quickly and her gaze went to the ground. Gabriel couldn't understand what it was about the smell that had him so fixated. It was wolflike, but not in the same way he was. In a way that seemed to make the hair on his neck stand. "Hmm," He grunted low in his throat.

    Lobby;

*Nicholi/Gabriel + Vinessa- As Nicholi bared his teeth upon seeing Gabriel at the front of the line, Trout glances up towards his friend who still had a slight smile from the earlier joke. The smirk had faded now, switched out for fear at his friend's action.

"Hey, uh, Nicholi...I don't think that's a....g-.. good idea." he says, unable to hold back a fearful tone, obviously nervous upon seeing his friend shift so quickly emotion-wise. Trout looks around, expecting a fight. Balbadd likewise took notice of his actions and did a personal mind speak to him.

<GRANDSON!> he yelps sharply in Nicholi's subconscious in hopes to disorient him. <..is that who you smelled? He one of us??> he asks in an assertive tone, pressing Nicholi to think through his next action. The reader was a tad too busy with Connor, though the actor managed to spot Nicholi. Vinessa would eventually get a good view o it, but Gabriel noticed it about the same time Connor did.

"Hey buddy, by any chance is that who you smelled?" Connor whispers to Gabriel, hoping to not draw any more attention to the situation at hand.

The smell grew stronger, and Gabriel turned as Conner pointed out the snarling stranger. With innocents and friends surrounding him, he found the viciousness of his demeanor disgusting. It caused Gabriel to growl like a savage lupine beast. His nails were already sharpening, bones crackling as the shifted and thickened to support denser muscle. A fractal transformation. Vinnessa's hands found her daggers in no time, and took a low stance during the commotion.

As fast as the newcomer had come, he had gone. Gabriel frowned, but it was Vinnessa who shot like a bullet towards where they had gone, low to the ground to attract minimal attention. Hands still on the pommels of her sheathed daggers, she wanted to find out who this person was. She didn't like that his scent gave her friend the willies, and that made this person a potential threat. Taking no chances, she would utilize stealth to nip the problem in the bud. Gabriel followed at a slower pace, uttering many "Excuse me"s along the way. "We're losing our spots in line for this! Bah!"

  2. Either way, Static has the least chance of winning a fight like this. He's powerful, but not quite in their league. Unless you're using Future Static? I mean, it makes a considerable difference, but not a huge one. His future incarnation has shown to be able to use significantly more raw power than his days of youth.

  3. Yeah... Lucky might be counter a lot of what Mayhem does, but I don't think anything's going to counter the raw power of the JGJ. It's a shame, cause I'd really like to see Team 1 pull out a victory. I just don't think they can.

Thanks for the comment there, Dinsdale. I think Mayhem will be more of an annoyance than an actual struggle. Lucky, and even Tony might be able to put him down relatively swiftly. However, Jolly Green's raw physical power is undeniable. At best, Tony and Lucky have speed on him. Also, Tony has much better nightvision than Jolly Green, which should be a factor.

  4. The lack of support for the Challenge entries is a bit disturbing...

    Good set-up, G4. I lol'd when the Kool-Aid Man chimed in. xbiggrin.png.pagespeed.ic.yJVH25T4ne.png

This mascot war must be pretty vicious if General Mills company mates Lucky and Jolly are on opposite sides. Lucky is Team 1's only real chance at winning, but I don't think even his marshmallow magic can stand up against Jolly's size (he's way taller than 55 feet, BTW; just watch some commercials) and Mayhem's near-toon force abilities.

All I can say about JGG is that it's been stated here and there that his official height was 55f. Now, they could have been referring to the physical statue, or he could be experiencing the "bigger at times" inconsistency, like Gojira and Kong. Thanks for the comment, and apologies for the tardy! Mayhem is definitely a force, but offensively, he is lacking. I also kept in mind that Lucky is crammed with powers up to the hat, like invisibility, speed, and more.

  5. Agh, I saw that coming! I think Legolas is more likely to win, but it seems a little strange to me that a single archer would be enough to easily defeat him. Perhaps it's because he's such a big name in the films and novels. Someone should've told Sauron that all he needs to defeat the Fellowship and reclaim the one ring is to hire a trained marksman. Forget Orcs and Nazgul.

  6. It's been shown you can still talk while bloodbended. That means you can use your mouth as normally. And that is all I need to hit you with a blast of air.

Or, if you're a firebender, a little dragon breath.

Except to remove my bending via bloodbending, you have to be standing in front of my face.

Or behind it! I'd wager that with a well timed freeze, that could be possible.

Could explain Combustion Man's power, maybe?

It's been explained as a psychic firebending technique, in the same general way that Amon can bloodbend without moving(or with minimal movement). In specific, it has to do with generating chi within, then focusing it through an overdeveloped "third eye".
