  1. Vinnessa and Gabriel step forward alongside Conner. Vinnessa seemed to begin to speak, but let nothing out. Sensing this through intuition, Gabriel instead began, "We have to care. We're going to be working together, right? I think that's what she was going to say."

Vinnessa merely crossed her arms and looked away subtly. "I suppose."

    Upon Gabriel's remark, "I don't smell anything."

"My smells better though," he pointed out, a finger raised. "It doesn't smell like anything I've ever smelt," he continued, glancing between Conner and his female ally. "And I don't think it's assassins. It just... It's one of those things that stays in the back of your mind. You did say it wasn't impossible, so I suppose it isn't..." Gabriel looked toward the direction of the particular scent. Of course, crowds of people crisscrossed their way in front of him, so a direct line would be difficult. Nevertheless, it was definitely there. "I'll have to check this out. It could be another clan, maybe."

  2. Funny enough, Hulk is capable of surviving in space for great lengths at end, as well as underwater, simply by holding his breath. So that cutting off his supply tactic shouldn't work anymore.

And World War Hulk would survive going through the sun... the Sun would empower him with Radiation, He'd be greatly pissed from being unable to do anything other than fly through it... in essence, you'd be giving World War Hulk a frickin Sun Dip that makes him more so powerful...

Hm. That should be a storyline. Hulk gets sun-hurled, then jumps off the sun and back onto Earth, x7986 more powerful.

  3. I should point out that, in the fight between Iron Man and Thor, Iron Man was losing. He couldn't have won that fight. If it would have continued, Thor would have continued putting dents in his armor, overpowering him physically, and showing him up in terms of durability and endurance. All this, and Iron Man was at 475% his normal power. Thor also had the advantage in combat speed, shown by his catching Stark's punches.

  4. WWH is too powerful and he is smart unlike his regular savage hulk counterpart. Human Torch beat regular Hulk twice by cutting off his oxygen supply which caused him to pass out. Once Hulk was done he reverted back to Bruce. If this were regular Hulk he could do the same but it isn't. Hell even Sue could do the same by putting a forcefield around his head and doing the same thing. In this fight though FF has lost already.

    Thunder Clap?

I think they beat the dumb Hulk in an old FF story. The Torch and thing distracted him and Sue projected a force bubble around his head. Hulk didn't get a chance to catch his breath and blacked out from lack of oxygen before he could break the bubble.

    Thunder Clap??

  5. I dunno, if Static plays his cards right he could win the battle right off the bat via Static Cling. Not sure if he'd be the type to do that, though.

It is in character, but I think Thor could rip the ground itself free. True, he'd be stuck to a chunk of floor, but he'd be relatively free. I'm not sure if Iron Man has that kind of brute physical strength. Though, with a few missles, he could likely replicate that feat.

I wonder if a Static Cling could stick the hammer to the floor, making it ironically difficult for Thor to lift?

Thor would kill Hal Jordan if he got one blow to his head, with Mjolnir or his fist, but he'd have to get close enough first and Hal wont let that happen easily. It'll be a decent fight but i think Thor is too durable for Hal to hurt him much, and he's got far more experience in battle and superhero activities, so i reckon Hal goes down in the end. Iron Man could take out static with a missile or repulsor blast to the face, but if he misses and Static gets the one little bit of time he needs to suck away Iron Man's power, then the latter is completely screwed. However, it's then Thor vs Static, and i think Thor would win that, as his big ol' magical lightening blasts would do a lot more damage to Static than Static's electrical blasts would to Thor. Also, again, Thor is physically superior and has super-strength.

Overall, Team 1 wins, but not very easily.

Doesn't Hal have a sort of personal force field? I don't know exactly how effective it is, but surely it'd provide some protection? I'm not sure if Static would succumb to a few missles; he's been shown to be able to stop bullets after they've been fired, and missles, while potentially faster, take a significantly longer time to accelerate to that speed. I think Static could deflect or block missles from Iron Man.

Another thing: how sure are we that lightning would do anything to Static at all, or that Static's electrical attacks would harm Thor for that matter?

Green Lantern could knock out Thor with his contructs (If Ironman could fight him then so could Hal). Thor will be too busy with Lantern to help out Ironman. Also Static once he shuts down Ironman's suit could easily strip Tony of his suit using his electromagnetic abilities.

I don't know, Hulk was hitting Thor pretty hard, and he never really went down for the count. I mean, he probably would have fell to Hulk eventually, but I'm not sure if Lantern's constructs were on a Class 100 level of power. I disagree about Thor being too busy to help Iron Man. All these guys would be fighting in the sky, it's not a stretch to assume both teams would be working with their partners, even if only a little. Also, keep in mind that Static can boost Lantern's power the same way Thor could boost Iron Man's.

  6. Thanks for the words, baller. What if Static uses that EMP blast, and Thor recharges Iron Man with some lightning, while Static is left partially weakened from the exertion? How could Green Lantern take out Thor? I know that Hal was pretty powerful in the film, but he didn't seem like anything that'd be too much overall against the likes of Thor and Iron Man. At least, that's what I was thinking.

  7. I wouldn't say DD's weapons are worse or greater. Really, they're in a different class. Daredevil isn't into killing, and Achilles is, so naturally, their weapons would showcase that. I'm not sure what the cables are made of in Daredevil's clubs. They could potentially bind the warrior, but he may or may not be able to slice through the (metallic?) cables. If Daredevil plays his cards right and really takes advantage of shock and awe tactics, he could win. but the thing is, physically, these guys are pretty much equal. Really, really equal.
