  1. Yeah, going with Wolverine as well.
  2. A little better. But the fact remains, Master Cheif is the weapons expert here, relatively speaking.
  3. Gabriel sniffed the air once more. "There it is again! That smell... Is it me?" He raised an arm and whiffed his armpit.
  4. So, it's Master vs Captain, and the field is littered with weapons that are from Master's universe; weapons he has already mastered the use of? It's kind of like putting Hawkeye in a fight with Black Widow, with a battlefield riddled in arrows.
  5. I agree--Hulk can't fly through the sun. But, he still has my vote. Unless I'm convinced otherwise...
  6. Push the buisness end of a lightsaber against adamantium for a thousand years straight. If you pull the blade away and see a little scratch, then yes, eventually, the saber would be able to cut through the adamantium. It depends very heavily on how dense the metal in question is. Mjolnir's lightning and even punches of sufficient enhanced strength have damaged secondary adamantium before, which is worth saying here.
  7. Ah, the title confused me. DMC is the exact name of the newest game. Given this is classic Dante, I'll give him the majority. Yoda could manage to combo a Jedi Mind Trick with saber-head-chopping, but Dante still takes the majority.

Oh, and I finally got around to seeing Ted. I love that damn bear.

That's what I was shouting at the two dimensional screen while it was happening.
  10. Yes, a lightsaber can cut through secondary adamantium.
  11. So, in the Star Wars Universe, there are actually closer to ten different saber-resistant materials.
  12. Then our plans are coming to beautiful fruition. We are your mistresses.
  13. W00t! I'm more than halfway done.
  14. Oh, boy. This is funny and sad and creepy, all rolled into one greasy package.
  15. Pretty much. Hence the "at the absolute least" part.
  16. There are lots of things in Star Wars that a lightsaber, at the absolute least, has high difficulty cutting through. And if Superman's skin is near those levels, which to be honest, I'm inclined to believe... then it would be like trying to get a switchblade to stab concrete, using only the force of the blade while it's being extended. Either the blade will stop, or the force of the blade will pry it free from the holder's hand.
  17. Ah, okay. Thanks for clearing that up; I was always curious about it, but not overwhelmingly so.
  18. Vinnessa noticed the line moving forward, and couldn't help but show a little relief. "Being in the same place for too long... it makes my skin crawl. I understand your wanting to worry later, but I do not think I can convince myself that quite so easily. I'm... happy for your spotless record. All I can say is... well, don't let your guard down too much. I wouldn't presume to tell you how to live your life, but I'll be damned if I feel miserable for not having told you at a time too late." "Yeah, Conner, we're big, scary beasts and all... but poisoned food? A knife in the back? Those kind of tactics are worth watching out for. Anyway... I'm kind of glad to have some privacy for once. Ever since we've been on the run, I can't remember an instance where we weren't at least 50 paces away at any given moment. So these rooms, are they fancy?" "You probably won't ever know," Vinnessa smiled wryly. "I'm the woman, so it is only fair I get the bedroom." Gabriel seemed shocked at that comment, eyes widened. "You only ever play the gender game when it best suits you!" Vinnessa shrugged. "Alright, if you think you should get it, it's yours." Gabriel began to speak, then stopped. After a moment's pause, "Oh, have your soft bed. But Conner, I pray your walls are thick!" "I do not snore that loud!" She bit. She didn't, but Gabriel liked the little game nonetheless.
  19. Mh. Doom, most likely. He's got more ways to win and is probably more clever.
