Gah, I'm not familiar with either of these factions, but the match seems to give a good understanding of their motivations.
Another good set-up, Merc.

Good set-up, broadway. Sorry I missed the vote and rate on this one. This was a good showdown of skilled Penguin henchwomen. I never watched The Batman beyond the first couple of episodes (Ninja Joker and Kung-Fu Penguin, eck), so I watched the vid provided to get a good idea of the Kabuki Twins' skill.
On 4/5/2022 at 9:26 PM, leroypowell3 said:What is wrong with me? Why do I not remember these Henchgirls? I love the Kabuki Twins but seeing as how only two of them kicked Batgirl around, I would guess their numbers plus having guns would put them on top in this fight.
That wasn't Batgirl; that was Batwoman from the (arguably standalone) film. Batwoman (the Batwomen) never quite as seemed as skilled in combat as Barbara, especially since Roxy Rocket (who very likely wasn't as combat-trained as Batgirl, either) was able to get the best of Jay, Lark, and Raven solo.
The Kabuki Twins, though, were able to give Batman (albeit less experienced than DCAU Bats) a good fight and seemed more coordinated and a lot more agile than the trio, so if I voted, I might have been inclined to give them the edge in this one.

I don't know if things are going to be as easy for Moon Knight as that. If we're talking Sunbow Serpentor, this episode perfectly shows off his physicals:
If Moon Knight can beat Serpentor, it likely won't be by brute force. He'd have to fight smart, and luckily for him, Serpentor doesn't show too much in the way of tactics in H2H.

Another good set-up, Johnny. It's been great that you've been integrating the fighter's various histories into the story, if only as footnotes. I just wish that I'd played more of these games to get a better feeling for all these storylines.
As for the match, both Rugal and Raidou must be pretty powerful if this Orochi demon is considering merging with one of them, but after watching some vids of them both in action, I'd have to agree with pat that Rugal's superior quickness should probably net him the win here.

Patrokolos from Soul Calibur V, they've been added now, but for some reason the name isspelled even though I know I sumbitted it correctly.

Sorry I missed this one, Johnny. Good set-up. It's good to see Bison apparently finished off for good, though.
I honestly wouldn't have been too sure on who to vote for in this one. Ken sometimes underestimates his opponents, but Ash occasionally tends to struggle using powers he's not familiar with.

Heh, good follow-up, broadway. It's almost a little too honorable of Fox Xanatos to want to fight a worthy opponent, though.
As for the match, I apparently can't look up Wanted's Fox without running into spoilers for the film, but I'm going to assume that unless she has significant other combat ability besides her bullet-curving, Mrs. Xanatos should probably be able to take her.

That is also a distinct possibility.

Pretty good set-up, Movie-Brat. The heroes seem to be cleaning house against the Cybermen whenever they're working as a group.
As for the match, Wanda should probably win this easily. Machines and A.I. in fiction tend to generally operate on probabilities and a sense of logic. Not a good combination to use against someone whose main power is to magically alter probabilities.

Another good set-up, Johnny. Good recaps with Gulie/Cassandra and Sophitia/Rachel. Not so sure Guile could take both Alexandra sisters solo, though.
As for the match, while it should be a good fight between Sophitia and Momiji, Momiji is the fresher of the two and doesn't have the new internal struggle to deal with. I'd say Ryu's apprentice should probably eke this one out.

Ah, missed this one.
Good set-up, broadway, but Fox Xanatos and Fox McCloud rightfully took this one. IIRC, in a combat sense, Mulder had to be bailed out by Scully more often than not.

Huh, that blade Vin's wielding in her new profile pic looks a lot like Cloud Strife's Buster Sword, in both build and size.
Welcome back, Nesh, and good set-up. This does indeed look like a good start for an arc. Not sure the spirit of Aang could hold back the Avatar State from Korra unless she allowed it, though.
As for the match, been a while since I've read a match involving the Mistborn, so I had to look up Mistborns' abilities for probably the first time since the site last closed. Even without the AS, Korra's bending is still very strong. She is also a strong metalbender, so she may initially try to bend the metals in Vin's vials. One has to wonder, though, how many of those metals Korra could actually bend (especially the Mistborn-exclusive ones). Since Vin's power is all about metal use, her allomancy might just overwhelm Korra's metalbending anyway.
I think Korra gives Vin a good fight, but between Vin's apparent raw power, precog with electrum, and potential ability to affect Korra's emotions with brass, she might just be able to take the AS-less Avatar down.

Good set-up, leroy. At first, I had forgotten who Danny the Dog was, but then I took a second look at who portrayed him, and it came back to me. Unleashed was a decent film for anyone who's interested.
As for the match, if a kind old man and a nice young woman can tame Danny, a fairy tale princess who's arguably kinder than either of them should likely have an even easier time of it.
-
Not a bad set-up, Gizmo. Been a while seen I've seen a match of yours.
As for the match, while Frank is very good at killing a wide variety of foes, the fact that he just brazenly barged in on a group of evil magic users instead of using more discreet means to take them out may just cost him. He's lost the element of surprise, and that might give at least one of the Death Eaters an opportunity to use Avada Kedavra on him.

MATCH SCORE
Ibuki: 6
Mai Shiranui: 5Eh?
I guess the people voting for Ibuki must think she can beat Galactus. 😒
Seriously, some of y'all are risking messing up the arc's storyline.

Why has no one commented on this yet? 🤨 I'm not familiar with Sweet or Music Meister but given that they're from Buffy and Batman: the Brave and the Bold, respectively, they can't be that obscure.
Anyways, great set-up, broadway. Involving Lin-Manuel Miranda and wife (not to mention bringing up that Lin's an Oscar away from EGOT status), involving Neil Patrick Harris (who I just found out is Music Meister's VA, who in turned hypnotizes him) ... you've loaded this thing with easter eggs. Not to mention how funny this is with the back-and-forth with Lin and his agent and the musical duel between Sweet and Music Meister themselves.
As for the match, from a glance I'm inclined to believe that Sweet would have more powerful control over victims than Music Meister, so he'd probably win this head-to-head.

Another good set-up, Johnny. Almost missed it. The good guys are starting to converge, but the number of injured is also starting to pile up.
I still think Mai should've lost against Dhalsim, but since she's more experienced in ninjutsu and likely a bit more rested than Ibuki, she should probably win here.
-
Another good set-up, Johnny. A bit heavier on exposition than previous matches, but it all seemed pretty neccessary and it was all well-done.
As for the match, while C. Viper is a very good fighter in her own right and has that tech and experience, Ayane just may be too powerful for her, at least from what I've looked up on both fighters. Viper's probably gonna make Ayane work, but I have a feeling that Viper would probably be the type to cut and run once she starts to see how powerful Ayane is and starts to get overwhelmed.

Ah, I didn't get to this in time.

At some point on Xena's show, Callisto becomes a god, so she was essentially immortal barring very specific conditions. Unless Kharn has a way to deal with immortality, he probably should've lost here.

Everyone knows of the legend of MJ but heh, I definitely also remember all the commercial ads that came out for Lord of the Dance back in the '90's.
Very good set-up, broadway, and congrats on your 100th CBUB match.
As for the match, Flatley brought in big crowds with Lord of the Dance, for sure, but it was almost a niche type of thing. MJ's performances brought in audiences of all types around the world. I'd say MJ wins the dance-off.
As for the fist fight, I just found out that Flatley is a boxing enthusiast and used to get into fist fights pretty often as a kid. From what I know about Jackson, he did just about everything to stay away from confrontation, especially physical. I'm thinking Flatley wins H2H.
As for the 3rd fall? From Thriller to Moonwalker to Smooth Criminal, etc. MJ has a myriad of abilities to draw from. He should win here.
All-in-all, MJ wins 2 out of 3 falls.

Thread moved to Rumbles.
@RockBirdJesus, you need to learn to start using your user Control Panel if you're going to make Official Matches, not to mention putting a good deal more story into them. This is the second or third thread of yours I've had to move.
To find your user CP, just look at the top of the forum page for "CBUB" next to the word "browse" and mouse over it until the drop-down menu shows, then click on "Control Panel". The option for making matches should show after that, and you can pick your characters to make matches/rumbles from there. Or if you're on mobile, click on "CBUB", and it will take you to the CBUB Home Page, where you should see "Your CBUB Control Panel".
To make more story, try to do more than just list the combatants and fight conditions. Get into why the combatants are fighting, what they're thinking, etc. and try to add some dialogue. Maybe even throw in some events that lead up to the main confilct.

Pretty good as a Deadliest Warriors-type presentation, but it could use more story.
I also have a feeling that the Mishima Zaibatsu would win this with Tekken warriors leading the way.
-
Very good set-up, Johnny. Awesome recap with Ryu and Orochi and set-up for the Ryu Hayabusa/Jin fight. I see, though, that you misspelled Iori's name at the very beginning of the match. No big thing, though.
As for the recap, while I only have a passing familiarity with Tekken characters and even less so of the Ninja Gaiden reboot games, I do know from the old NES games that Ryu has plenty of experience vanquishing planetary threat-level demons and the powerful people that summon them. I'm thinking he should be able to handle a Kazama.
-
Another good set-up, Johnny. That hospital is getting filled up with fighters pretty quickly, lol.
As for the match, I have a small feeling that Siegfried could eke out a victory here. Siegfried's already beaten Gill in this arc, and aside from his power with Soul Calibur, Bison has at times proven to be a little too arrogant for his own good.
-
Another good set-up, broadway. Sorry I missed this one.
As for the match, while I'm very familiar with Baroness from the '80's G.I. Joe 'toon, I haven't seen the Avengers TV show or the '98 film, so I couldn't have said how Peel would've fared against her.

And so it begins ...
I'll be back to check on things in a bit.
Nah, MagneticFox was always its own thing, even if it was started in tribute to EF and as a place for the EF community to migrate to and continue the Ferret way.
