With or without Apocalypse's enhancements, both Superman and Flash can literally move faster than any of the X-Men can even think to react, so if both sides are going for the instant kill, X-Men get speed-blitzed before even telepathic attacks can be launched. Now, if Jean had the power of the Phoenix Force, Supes and Flash would get vaporized with a thought.

Well, in that case, Goliath's going to have his hands full, at least. He's going to have to be pretty clever to stand a chance against this version of Hobby.
-
How about Ron Stoppable vs. Sokka? That has potential for some great comedy. Of course, both characters would have to be set early in the runs of both Kim Possible and A: TLA, respectively, as Ron at KP's end would crush Sokka at any stage.

Buzz Bee (Honey Nut Cheerios) Lucky the Leprechaun (Lucky Charms) The Pack (Gargoyles) Madam Mim Huey, Dewey, and Louie The Acolytes

Put some more effort into your next set-up, spiderman 12. So, tell us how you really feel. lol Seriously, you don't want to crush a guy's dream, you know? A little more constructive criticism wouldn't hurt. And personally, I don't have a problem with match rehashes, as long as they're very well written.

A lot of abuse of the Deadpool family in the matches lately. Of course Supergirl takes this.
-
The Mutate Clan is already here; they were one of the few Gargoyle entities in CBUB's database before Add Character function caught the bug. But your other ideas sound interesting, too.

Demona is working with the Clan to find Scar? Ha, it won't be long before she starts vying to become the Clan's new leader. But that's another story altogether. As for the battle, the Predator just might have his hands full. Bronx's bite might constitute the strongest grip of the whole Clan, and his pouncing and claws are pretty tough as well. And while Brooklyn may not be one of the stronger Gargoyles, he can be pretty clever at times. The whole clan? Scar would definitely be biting off more than he can chew, with several combatants with strength and agility comparable to his own. I'm not sure how much more of the Gargoyles lineup you're willing to use, Rakai, but the Mutate Clan might be another source for Scar to go after. They have the abilities of the Gargoyles, and can produce and use electricity offensively. Plus, their leader, Talon, is Elisa's brother.

How??? WW is leagues ahead of Spider-Man in strength and maybe quickness, symbiote or no. What's Spidey going to do to hurt her without that Power Gem?
-
The outcome kind of depends in which Hobgoblin Hudman02 is using here. The Spider-Man: TAS Hobgoblin has the strength of a normal human, while the comics Hobgoblin is even in strength with the Green Goblin, which would put him at 9 tons. Now, Goliath is probably 5 ton strength at best, and that might be a stretch. If the fight's on the ground, TAS's Hobgoblin is likely screwed, while the comics version would knock Goliath around a bit. Both Hobgoblins have their pumpkin bombs, razor-sharp throwing discs, and controls in the gloves' fingertips which can produce blinding flashes of light, among other things. But then again, Goliath is probably more nimble than both versions on the ground. A fight in the air might be a different story. That Glider of Hobby's is more maneuverable than a lot of aircraft and has an arsenal of weapons of its own. Goliath's going to have a tough time in an air battle. I'll reserve my judgement until I know which version of Hobgoblin is being used here.

That should be grimacing. Didn't mean to sound redundant there.

Decent set-up. Zeus takes it, though. In the one Storm vs. Thor that comes to mind for me, Thor literally sucked the breath out of Storm with a kiss for the win. Storm appeared to be giving her all, while Thor seemed to be almost taking the battle in stride. I don't know how to attach images to posts yet, so the best I can do is provide a link to the last page of that fight. You'll have to scroll about 2/3 page down. Sorry about this. http://www.comicvine.com/forums/battles/7/...r/20169/?page=6 Note that while Storm is struggling during their lightning struggle, Thor is smiling. I imagine the Zeus battle going the same way, except he won't be as gentle.

Piotr has been KO'd by psychic and energy attacks and by physically stronger foes, but as far as I know, he has never been physically KO'd by a physically weaker opponent. Do you happen to have scans handy to show this? I do seem to remember Venom getting into a skirmish with Juggernaut once.
-
Decent set-up, though, as evident from the set-up's first paragraph, you should've put Symbiote Spider-Man as the contender for Team 2, instead of normal Spidey. Tough battle. Wonder Woman loses in a tough one unless she can get the Power Gem out of Pete's grasp.
-
The problem with that is, Colossus isn't just going to stand there and takes all those blows. He's going to power his way out and retaliate long before then. The symbiotes aren't exactly liquid; they're extremely flexible, almost fluid, flesh. But they're still flesh nonetheless. Just because someone on their strength level or lower (i.e., Spider-Man) can't hurt them with physical force, doesn't mean a stronger being can't, and hasn't. And Carnage has a solid body underneath, so that body is going to be feeling those blows.
-
Oh, and good set-up, Dr. Pymp(mex). My bad for not saying so earlier; I kinda got caught up in the debating. I see you were going for the tone of CBUB's HoF match-ups.
-
Was this early in Piotr's career as an X-Man? If so, I would chalk that up to inexperience. And how much damage did he actually take from direct blows from Venom? How are Carnage and Venom more durable than a literal Man of Steel? Because Venom survived some blows from Juggernaut? Colossus lasted for quite a while against Cain in their encounters in the past. I doubt Venom took more than a few blows from Cain before either Venom wisely retreated or Cain decided to go easy on him.
-
Well, if you do use the Steel Clan, remember that they are led by David Xanatos, a man who is among the best on the Gargoyles' Earth at planning ahead. He's also a former enemy of the Gargoyles, but while he's their ally now, he's not the type to seek vengence. In fact, he's more likely to try and subdue Scar and use him for research.
-
Both men knock each other around for a bit, but Colossus takes this. It's 35 ton strength vs. 100 ton strength. The Carnage symbiote then slithers off the now-dead body of Cletus Casidy to preserve itself.
-
Great set-up, Marvel Man, though you probably didn't need me to tell you that, lol. Which would do no good since Juggernaut can't be killed by force, or likely by anything else. More than likely, GL would win via BFR (battlefield removal), or Cain and Hal would trade attacks and blows until Hal removes Cain's helmet and discovers Cain's weakness to psychic attacks.
-
In a small way, it is. The characters here (at least Iron Man and Nick Fury) seem to be loosely based on the movies. The version of Fury in the IM movies, played by Samuel L. Jackson, is obviously on the based on the Ultimates version of Fury, whom was admitted to be based on Jackson.
-
Kraven takes out Spider-Man, picks off the Avengers one by one... and then he wakes up from his dream. Seriously, no way is Kraven competent enough to pull all that off. His ego almost always gets in the way of victory for him. An okay set-up. You probably should've just had Kraven and Frank face off from jump.
-
You do realize that Nick Fury is black in the Ultimate universe, right?
-
LOL! Naw, I shouldn't be laughing at another man's dying. But a part of me just couldn't resist. ;p Anyway, not that I'm hoping for Edward to win by any stretch, but Kid Goku does have one glaring weakness: his tail.

How?? Kalibak has strength and durability comparable to Superman. Kalibak beats Deadpool into ground beef, but since DP is immortal, he won't die, and therefore he won't shut up, pissing off Kalibak to no end. The only hope would be for Darkseid to Omega Beam DP out of existence. I'm beginning to notice a pattern with Deadpool being put into curb-stomps. It's still a good set-up, though.
