Trust me when I say that the 2018 retcon movie is more coherent..

It's just bizarre. I put in various resources for Gert to have help to make playing field even.

A tie? How? And why would anyone think Gert wouldn't prove her innocence?

I mean Black Cat survived those too. Don't know how Lupin would fare with something like Infinity Stones though. Understandable. Though Dan Sloth is no longer writing if you're curious. But he's moved onto Fantastic Four.

If it's over One More Day, the next issue may finally undo it. But back to Black Cat, it happened in her ongoing and various one shots but yeah, she's getting the Infinity Stones. The final part of that arc starts in the fall.

Thought it'd be a fair number. Nothing too overboard.

Something Lupin hasn't done is acquire stones of infinite power. Not kidding. As of recently, Black Cat has three of the infinity stones. Not an easy feat but she accomplished it.

In fairness, it worked as a solid adventure piece so, a musical number wasn't that needed.

8:31 P.M. - New York City, May 21st, 2021 The Cybermen fired at White Fox. Seeing the lasers however, she instantly dodged then at incredible speed. She lunged at the leading Cyberman and slashed across its chest before slicing its head off. She kicked a gun off from another Cyberman's hands and fired multiple lasers at the head and chest and fired at another. The gun was then shot off by another Cyberman and in response, White Fox sliced its arms off and kicked it kick away. But not before ramming her arm through three Cybermen after doing so. The remaining Cybermen continued to fire. White Fox, again, dodged the lasers. She kicked a Cyberman, forcing it to accidentally fire and kill one of their own. But then had the opportunity to be sliced in half by White Fox herself. And not pausing at any second, she then kicked off guns from the arms of two more Cybermen but not before punching one of them in the face and kicking its head off. And then White Fox proceeded to slash across the chest of another Cyberman and kicked it out the window with a double foot kick. Still, the Cybermen never ceased firing on her. In that moment, White Fox resorted to her ultimate form; one she was born as. She transformed into a Kumiho and with her nine tails, she grabbed each Cyberman with each tail and proceeded to either slam some on the ceiling, on the floor or into each other. She even tore apart one of them with her mouth. Chomping on the arm and torso and tearing them off. ---- As the two Cybermen dragged April downstairs, the door to her apartment burst open to reveal White Fox still in her Kumiho form, rushing down the stairs after disposing of the other Cybermen. She transformed back into her human state and slashed one Cyberman's head off with her claws and punched through another one in the chest before kicking it away, instantly killing it. April stared at her in shock. The moment she was a nine tailed fox before transforming back into human, she was immediately convinced this topped four mutant turtles and a rat. White Fox could tell the poor woman was confused. "Who are you?" April asked the Kumiho out of curiosity. "My name is White Fox and I'm here to help!" White Fox introduced herself. "Do you know what's going on?" White Fox nodded, "I do!" With that, she grabbed April's wrist and ran out of the building just as they saw more Cybermen marching much to their. But they kept on running regardless. "Your friends at the Purple Dragon headquarters!" White Fox added. "We have to get there fast!" "Wait, you know about the turtles?" April then asked. "I do! An associate of mine has just met them!" White Fox replied before shouting, "Now come on!" ------ Splinter was now starting to feel tired from running rooftop to rooftop. He had fail to evade every set of Cybermen attempting to converge on him. Everything had gotten so crazy that he began to hallucinate Cybermen everywhere, even when landing on new rooftops. He failed to notice above him however, a Quinjet hovering above one of the rooftops. Eyeing on Splinter was either a new challenger or a helpful ally. "That's him!" The voice of a young woman said to a SHIELD agent who was piloting the Quinjet. "At least based on the description Natasha told me!" The door opened and slipping on her mask, she prepared to jump out. "I'll take it from here!" She told the SHIELD agent. "Stay in the air until I call you!" With a thumbs up from the agent, she jumped and landed on the rooftop a few feet away from Splinter and from behind. Startled, Splinter turned to see who was it that appeared from behind. To his confusion, it was a young woman in yellow and blue spandex, long black hair sticking out and a mask going along with the color scheme that looked feral. The Wolverine had arrived. "Who are you?" Splinter demanded. "I'm here to help!" Wolverine assured the rat. "I have a friends who knows your sons." "What have you done with my sons?!" Splinter screamed irrationally as he charged at her. However, the fight didn't last long as she held her fist in front of him and like a cartoon character, he ran into it and flopped onto the ground. He felt as if he had hit a metal room. He had hallucinated Wolverine as one of the Cybermen until the punch managed to snap him out of it and saw Wolverine for real. "Forgive me," Splinter apologized to the mutant. "It has been a long night evading an unstoppable opponent." "The Cybermen!" She growled as she indicated she was seeing them climb the rooftop. Splinter gasped in horror as both of them witnessed about twenty Cybermen climb onto the rooftop. "I'll handle this." Wolverine said to Splinter as she stood in front of him in a protective manner. He questioned the woman going into battle alone. That was until he heard them conversing with each other. "Scanners show you are made of adamantium and of mutant origin." A Cyberman said. "You are not fit for conversion and therefore, must be destroyed." "Fine with me, tin man!" Wolverine quipped as two sets of two adamantium claws pop out from the top of her hands. SNIKT Splinter was in awe. This had been an absurd night but it became increasingly so in his eyes between her and the Cybermen. But with that, Wolverine charged at the Cybermen, roaring, just as they began to fire at her. -------- Yes, by all accounts X-23 is still called Wolverine. Not just because of her previous run All-New Wolverine by Tom Taylor, she's still Wolverine as of the current X-Men comics by Jonathan Hickman even after the O.G. Wolverine, Logan, came back from the dead. And even he said she's Wolverine. Anyway, for this fight, the object of this match is can Wolverine protect Splinter and defeat twenty Cybermen for long. Wolverine is at full strength with all her abilities and so are the Cybermen.

I still say Mulan given she ended up getting Chinese army training anyway.

Oh and one more thing, Nuke is actually a drug from Robocop 2. It seemed like an absurd thing in general anyway that I went, "eh, why not?"

Also admittedly, that moment was a homage to this particular moment from the Scooby Doo/WWE Wrestlemania crossover film. (At 2:38)

'This is exactly why I protest the military!' Gert thought to herself as she was in a glaring match with her opponents. Gert sat in the interrogation room, annoyed and angry at Duke, Flint, General Hawk and Sgt Slaughter. Glaring. The four men didn't take too well at her attitude. "Listen, brat!" Sgt Slaughter growled in her face. "We know you were involved in that Cobra operation. So why don't you spill that information and maybe we'll go easy on you." "I'm telling you for like the hundredth time, I'm not involved with a bunch of HYDRA wannabes." Gert replied, exasperated she had to tell the leading Joe members again what had happened. It had all started with Gert walking down LA streets at night with Old Lace. She needed to clear her head after everything that had happened in her life after she had been brought back to life and how much the world changed over the past two years. It had been just too much to take in. But then suddenly, she noticed something odd as she passed by a construction site. The construction workers left earlier at sundown. Something was going on. She motioned Old Lace to join her but quietly so as to not attract attention. The two his behind one of the metal support beams as they witnessed Cobra soldiers guarding what looked like a meeting between Cobra Commander and Destro and Jackal and Hyena. 'What the hell kind of meeting is this?' Gert asked herself. "I trust this will provide sufficient funds exactly." Cobra Commander said as he presented a suitcase of dollar bills much to the delight of the two demented cyborgs. "Oh this will do nicely!" Jackal grinned. "And this will be exactly as you desired." He added as he presented an even bigger suitcase. Opening it, it contained smaller tubes and capsules and an even bigger tube that contained a liquid pink substance. "This is what we've been waiting for?" Destro asked, visibly annoyed. "This, rejected Nickelodeon slime?" "Don't get your iron mask tightened." Hyena laughed. "This is called Nuke. From an alternate Earth where crime reigns supreme, Detroit being the crime ridden capital of the world there!" 'Am I seriously watching a Saturday morning cartoon PSA plot here?' Gert thought in disbelief at what she was seeing. But suddenly, the unthinkable happened. Gert sneezed by accident. It was an unexpected but one that immediately, she figured would get her in trouble. "What was that?" Cobra Commander growled. It was there, he spotted Gert and Old Lace thanks to their shadows. "Guards!" He shouted. "Seize them!" Gert immediately ran from the scene. She didn't even want to risk Old Lace getting shot. That was until Jackal got the jump on her. But Old Lace managed to headbutt him, sending flying across the ground. But with great speed, he lunged at Gert; grabbing her by the neck with the intent of choking her. But once again, Old Lace came to her rescue as she bit down on the robotic arm and with great strength, tore it off. "No! What have you done?!" He screamed in agony. But everyone but them had dispersed as the various G.I. Joe units had arrived. But before Jackal had left, he managed to place one of the Nuke capsules into her pocket as soon as she was distracted. Gert attempted to run but Flint, assuming the worse, managed to grab her. She slipped away at first but Leatherneck and Wetsuit managed to restrain her. While Old Lace had threw Shipwreck and Scarlett into the support beams and even whacked Bazooka, Gung Ho and Alpine with her tail. But in response however, Old Lace came to her rescue but Sgt Slaughter managed to tackle the dinosaur. Making matters worse, despite Gert pointing in the direction of Cobra and Jackal and Hyena, Flint managed to find the Nuke capsule in her pocket. Gert immediately knew what would come next. Around the same time, Nico and Karolina were on their date, walking about and saw the commotion. To their horror, Gert was being arrested by G.I. Joe. Her and Old Lace being carted into vehicles and crying for help. Duke intervened the two girls and told them everything was fine and it's official Joe business. Nico and Karolina glared at him. They knew they had a rescue mission on their hands. "For someone claiming to be innocent, you couldn't help but get in on the deal, huh?" Flint said in a harsh tone to Gert as she explained her story yet again. "That's exactly what happened!" Gert shouted. "You're letting the actual guys escape!" "I think all that fat is clouding your judgment, little lady!" Sgt Slaughter condescendingly said as he poked her belly. Gert was not accepting that. "I think all that muscle is covered your brain!" Gert snapped back. She added, "And shouldn't you be in the WWE? Let me guess, Vince McMahon didn't pay you enough to take a dive to let the Undertaker win!" Sgt Slaughter was now officially angry. Never did he feel the need to punch a child until now. "Let it go, Slaughter!" General Hawk calmed down the military man. The man calmed down but not before giving an angry glare at Gert. "But this isn't over, young lady!" General Hawk said, clearly fed up with Gert himself. "Tell us what this Nuke is and-" Suddenly, a loud ruckus was heard. Dozens of soldiers and personnel screaming and shouting. "Stay there!" General Hawk commanded Gert as he, Duke, Flint and Sgt Slaughter left the interrogation room. Only for seconds later, the four men screamed and shouted as the window glass on the door broke and Gert witnessed the four leading members of G.I. Joe flying across the hall so hard, their clothes literally flew out of them and a loud crash followed soon after. To her delight however, Nico came right into the window frame used to be. "I so did not expect that to happen!" Nico said, very surprised a spell of hers by the Staff of One was able to do that as well as another culprit. "I did!" Molly grinned. "I punched them real good!" Gert smiled in relief. Her friends came through. Nico managed to unlock the door from the inside with Chase, Karolina and Molly joining. "I'm so glad to see you!" Gert said gratefully as Molly tore off the handcuffs off the table that Gert's wrists were attached to. "We didn't come alone!" Karolina said as she smiled. Old Lace ran into the room, instantly seeing Gert much to both their delights. "Lace!" She shouted happily as she hugged her dinosaur companion. "We're getting out of here and clearing your name!" Nico said to Gert reassuringly. "How?" Gert asked, genuinely curious what her friends could do. "First, we got help!" Chase replied. An Indian boy with green hair by the name of Pinpoint teleported into the room with a huge portal behind him. "Right on cue!" Pinpoint shouted as he pointed to the portal behind him. "Let's go!" With that, everyone rushed into the portal and teleported into the inside of the Champions mobile bunker with rest of the Champions and Ironheart and Nadia Van Dyne aka the Unstoppable Wasp both driving. "How-?" Gert began to ask before Molly cut her off. "I went to the forums!" Molly said excitedly. "They're like, good ways to contact other superheroes like Ms Marvel!" "And don't worry," Ms Marvel said to Gert as she approached her and continued with reassurance in her voice. "We're going to help you. Tell us everything and we're going to know where to start. We never let other teen heroes down." Gert, overwhelmed with emotions based on the help she had been receiving, nodded and once again, told her story. Only this time to people she trusted. "I'll start at the beginning!" Gert responded. ----- Just in case, everything Gert says about the military is in character for her. She does not trust adults and that includes authority figures. Her jabs at the military are part of what she does, she's always sarcastic and very passionate about social issues and other things. This is not a political statement. I have opinions about the military yes but that's not the point. This is all in character for Gert is my point. Anyway, the object of this is even with the help of the Runaways and the Champions, can Gert clear her name and defeat the real villains. Vote Gert that she can pull this off. Or vote G.I. Joe that she can't and she'll get arrested again.

8:30 P.M. - May 2021, New York City The fight had not been going in April's favor. No, she did fight her hardest, she was push over. But the problem was, aside from pulling the exact same trick of two Cybermen accidentally firing on each other, not one scratch or hit phased the Cybermen. Even when using a tantō sword, it broke on impact. The weapon broke in half as she tried to slice on the Cyberman's chest. The Cyberman's head even looked down at the broken weapon as if it were unimpressed. At least had the Cybermen kept their emotions. April was out of options. She could fight them off to her best still but nothing could phase them. She tried for another punch but the one of the Cybermen caught her fist and twisted her arm. Then the Cyberman grabbed her neck. "You will come with us." It said. "You will become us." ---------- Placing the briefcase on the desk, Jack Harkness opened it to the rest of the party revealing a collection of weapons; fifty arrows, two cartridges of thirty bullets, seven daggers, two combat batons, five shurikens, and two katana swords. The one thing that stood out however, was they gave off a blueish glowing color. "Simmons didn't have time to create a whole batch." Jack Harkness said. "But she made these." "What are they?" asked Leonardo. "EMP weapons." Black Widow responded. "They were planned at the start of the mission. Normal weaponry won't phase the Cybermen and the weakness to gold they overcame around 1993 after the Silver Nemesis incident in 1988. This was the best idea Fitz and Simmons proposed." "EMP sounds ideal against the Cybermen." Donatello said, almost concurring with the idea. "But, did you test it first?" "A prototype dagger was used on a Cybermat Torchwood had in custody." Natasha responded. "It did the trick." "That's cool and all," said Michelangelo. "But what about the rest of the Cybermen and the crazy time ship?" "I already have an expert on the way!" Jack Harkness said with a smile on his face. "Hopefully fast because the party guests are coming!" Raphael cried out as he stared at the elevator numbers that signified their incoming arrival. Natasha then grabbed the two cartridges and the batons. Replacing the regular bullets with the EMP ones and strapping the two batons onto her back, she then closed the suitcase and handed it back to Jack Harkness. "Give this to the others, the invasion of the Cybermen is already underway!" Natasha urgently said to her comrade. "What about you?" Jack Harkness asked out of genuine concern. "You can't them on all at once!" Leonardo concurred. "Someone's got to distract them and I've taken on worse." Black Widow said. "Our expert should arrive in about a minute." Jack Harkness checked his phone. "Good!" Natasha nodded before muttering under her breath as she eyed on the elevator. "And not a moment too soon..." ----- "This way!" Shang Chi cried out to Casey as they took a turn to the left. Only to find more Cybermen marching down the street. "That's not good!" Casey said worriedly. "No it's not." Shang said but added, "But we fight regardless!" ----- At Justice Force headquarters, meanwhile. Alarm bells rang inside with much of its members converging in the hallway. "We're getting reports of another invasion!" Nobody said as he surveyed the computer, eyeing on the marching and increasing armies of Cybermen. "We'll need everyone at once!" Silver Sentry cried out as he flew outside. But as just as he and the rest of the Justice Force went outside, they soon found themselves and their headquarters surrounded by hundreds of Cybermen. Three hundred strong. "You are not fit for conversion." The Cybermen said in unison. "You must be destroyed." ----- Despite Splinter's efforts on the roof tops, leaping from one to the other, the unfortunate truth he faced was a lot of the Cybermen had managed to eye on him, climbing up to get him and unrelentingly so. He had begun to wonder if he will ever evade them and find his sons. ----- "You will become us." The Cyberman repeated again. April managed to croak out, "Never!" "You have no choice!" The Cyberman said. "We have said earlier." "You will join a greater cause." The Cybermen said in unison as two more joined the fray to replace the destroyed ones. Suddenly, a new figure crashed through the window, landing on all fours before standing straight up. A woman in blue and silver white as represented by her mask, boots and gloves, also her claws. Also represented by her white, silver hair and curiously; glowing blue eyes and white fox ears on her head. White Fox had finally arrived. "Release her, silver monsters!" White Fox commanded as she pointed her claw at her. "She will be converted." The Cyberman holding April O'Neil responded. "You on the other hand are not fit for conversion. You are unnaturally born." "And you are an outrage against humanity!" White Fox retorted. "You have abandoned what makes you human in favor of cold and merciless! You claim logic, yet you opted for cruelty." "We are the next stage of human evolution. We are Human 2.0. We do what we can to survive." "That survival turned into something else since! You're only interested in superiority!" "Let the woman free or face the wrath of a Kumiho!" White Fox further warned the Cybermen. "We are not intimidated." The Cyberman responded as even two more Cybermen managed to take April of its hands as they held her captive instead and marched away. White Fox now felt the time for battle was now. "Then perish!" With that, she charged at the Cybermen, even just as they prepared to fire their weaponry again. ------- Yes, at last, a new challenger for the Cybermen! And it's finally a Marvel superhero fighting them. It's White Fox versus 20 Cybermen. White Fox is at full strength and power. As mentioned in the set up, she's a Kumiho. She has Heightened Senses, her claws, superhuman durability, agility, stamina and speed, animal communication, fox transformation (turns into the nine tailed fox which is a Kumiho) and Life Force Energy Absorption. As well as well versed in a lot of forms of close combat. The Cybermen of course are at full strength and weaponry. The object of the fight being can she defeat the Cybermen and rescue April.
