Open a thread on it and let me know what you come up with. Doesn't really matter to me what the "Originations" are as long as there's seven or eight of them. Also they should split the characters in some logical and preferably somewhat even manner.

You'll find it in the FPL Control Panel. You can feel free to make characters. We could actually use some created characters to take back to the test server and database. It will help with development over there if you create characters for us to export to the test Data Base. You will be able to create your own Teams and move your existing characters to those new Teams later.

I'll be taking two weeks vacation in late Sept / early Oct. The goal is to work on the FPL during that time. I imagine that's the earliest you'll see a functioning FPL. Thanks!

One is from an X-Men story arc where Viper took control of all the female members of the X-Men, outfitted them in green and sent them on a rampage. I pulled out the best image I could find of each in the series, pulled them out of the surrounding artwork and pasted them into this group image. The other is the three covers of the limited series which relaunched the JLA title. I scanned and put the three covers together in one image.

Draconic: Juggernaut jumps onto Abomination, punding him over and over again. Abomination gets a few punches in aswell, but is losing in the battle. Thor flies down and throws his Mjolnir at Juggernaut. Juggernaut is hit, and goes flying! Jax126: that has got to hurt! Thor has just landed on Abomination, and hit the green man in the you-know-what area, with his Mjolnir! Abomination is down, but Thor doasn't care, he batters the green man on the head and it looks like Abomination is out in the first 2 minutes! Draconic: Juggernaut is up, and has jumped at Thor. Thor is trying to get out of the way....(booom)....holy..Juggernaut has got the god, and is sending in punches and kicks, and it looks like Thor has no chance of escaping...No i was wrong, Thor is up and he has sent a hell of a punch into the stomach of Juggernaut! The woman turns around it is Melaka Fray she is stardled. Melaka being a slayer of evil decides to try to kill Jackie. So will Melaka be killed by The Darkness or will Melaka slay it you decide.

This is part 1 of a species tournament. The Infected Formerly humans, then turned into ravaging monsters by a virus spread by Monkeys. Now these blood thirsty creatures virus is spread by blood. So if even one drop of Infected blood on you.You will turn. Now with the virus these Infected are fast and can run long distances even with the virus slolwying them down. That and they also have sharp nails and teeth to tear into human flesh with. Now they shall contend with the with the Werewolf's and trioxin Zombies who are also eagerly vicious. Werewolf's. Werewolf's who were used as Dog Soldiers in myths. They have many in numbers and sharp fangs and claws. They shall also fight with the Infected and Trioxin Zombies. Trioxin Zombies. Zombies that are reanimated with the gas known as Troxin gas. Now I know what you are thinking. Hey Nd5 why are more zombies fighting? Well the Infected aren't really zombies. But back to the Troxies. These rotting bad boys can't be destroyed by being shot in the head. Chopping them up only makes it worse as the body parts just start moving on their own. You can burn them but your just spreading the ashes which still has Troxin gas in it and your infecting other people. Now that is why I chose these rotting brain eating mother undeaders. Now ready set fight! Okay now that is out of the way here is the match. It is in a abonded city with 22 Infected VS 19 werewolfs VS 30 Trioxin Zombies. Enjoy and you know the rest.

Alright, since the records wont carry over Im gonna do my first succesful fight on the beta cbub.Here we go. Year 1964, Date of Auric Goldfingers Operation Grandslam. Brittish agent 007 had managed to turn Pussy Galore to his side and together would foil Operation Grandslam at which point the base would be raided by U.S. Soldiers to apprehend Goldfinger. But the CIA didn't trust Bond, and how he was able to ut a counter-plan so fast so they decided to send one of their own men to infiltrate the base ahead of time to make sure the plan works. That man is former Green Beret and FOX member codenamed Big Boss. Fresh off Operation Snake Eater, his team was quickly prepped, and briefed for the mission. After stealth Chuting close to the dropsite snake could see unconcious guards....looks like the plan is already in effect. After getting deeper into Fort Knox he decided to contact Sigint to see just what he'd be up against. Sigint:Hey Big Bosshow you doing so far? Snake:Sigint you know I prefer snake. Sigint:Whatever. Snake:Anyways Ive infiltrated the base, the guards weren't too difficult, they're not exactly GRU. Sigint:Don't get too cocky Snake, the one you have to watch out for Goldfingers bodyguard. Snake turned back to see oddjob almost at his hat Snake decided it'd be best if he didnt get ahold if it again and he took aim with his pistol. The fight is on. Ok recap, this is post MGS 3 Snake Eater Naked Snake/Big Boss, armed with his CQC knife and Tranquilizer pistol, he's wearing the russian sneaking suit. Oddjob doesnt have his hat cause he threw it, but he's easily within running distance of it. The area is oddjobs fight scene with 007 in Goldfinger and its to the death. Enjoy.

A Predator jumps on Ms.Marvel and several more arrive.Before Avengers knew it they had a war on their hands.The Elder attacks Spiderman and Spidey kicks and it hits a wall but it didn't seem to phase it to much.The more predators they kill even more come back fighitng harder.There is now only four Predators left:Elder Predator, and three other larger Preds.Spiderman and Wolverine take on the Elder and the rest get the big ones.One of the Predators grab SpiderWoman and pull her skull out and use her body almost like a baseball bat hitting the other Avengers.The Elder is taking on web head and Wolvie with eas. I'm standing in the middle of a bug infested, hot and humid jungle where pterodactyls fly overhead and there is no doubt a huge tyrannosaurus waiting to jump out of the bushes and swallow me whole. How I got here is yet to be resolved but it involved the latest case that I'm on which had me hot on the trail of a politician killer (who no doubt in other times would have been applauded). One minute I was pursuing a good lead in one of the roughest areas of Flipside, the next there's this bright light and I find myself transported to the land that time forgot. Typical. But as if that weren't enough to worry me, I now find myself staring at a fight between Dr Strange and Dr Fate and the mad titan Thanos. There's magic crackling in the air, waves of energy that burn up rocks and vegetation all around us. I feel Merlin's magic rising up inside me as if against a challenger, rested from my ordeal in Flipside and ready for some action. I know if I let them carry on, someone is going to die soon. So, taking a deep breath, I step out straight in between the two warring parties. ----------------------------- Magic and power hit me from all sides, powerful and deadly and as old as hell and the world went white. Luckily the magic that protects me happens to be strong as hell and I casually shrug off the attacks. "STOP" I yell. "WHY ARE YOU FIGHTING?" Not inspired I know, but I was under attack. They stopped and I let my held breath out as casually as possible. They didn't need to know how much their attacks had hurt, and I nonchalantly let my hand drift to Excalibur. All three stopped and looked at me, more out of astonishment than anything else. "Pendragon? Here? Are you also part of this foul plot to keep me from my lady?" Thanos spoke with such menace in his voice that I took an involuntary step back. I never knew where I stood with the mad Titan; in some moments he almost treated me as an equal, calling me the "hand of death" (referring to Excalibur), but at other times treating me like a bug that he could without doubt squash without a moment's hesitation. "We have tried to explain to you Titan, we did not bring you here" exclaimed Strange, lowering his hands cautiously. "He's telling you the truth Thanos" I said, turning to the Titan and looking him straight in the eyes. "We're all as much a victim of this as you are." His eyes narrowed for a moment and then he nodded. "Very well, a truce. For now." I guess that was the best we were going to get out of him so we settled down to the most important questions. How did we get here, where is here, and how do we get home. ----------------------------- I explained my version of the story to the Titan and the two sorcerers and they settled down to think about it. A debate of sorts started but we soon realised that we were getting nowhere fast, and the fact that I wasn't half as smart as the three didn't help at all. "It is obvious that we were sent to this specific point in time for a reason" said Dr Fate. "Why is that?" I asked, feeling stupid, even as the other two nodded their understanding. "Because if this was a random reaction of our own defences to an attack, we would not have ended up in the same place or time. We all have very different defences, for example Thanos's power is due to his Titanian blood, whereas Stephen's to his mystical pacts. Yours Arthur are perhaps the most powerful, put in place by Merlin himself and would certainly not have sent you back in time." I almost blushed at the compliment and nodded to show I understood. "So we were meant to be here." said Thanos "But why here, why now? I am not as well versed in Earth's history as you are sorcerers, why is this time and place significant?" "I think therein lies the solution to our imprisonment" replied Strange. "We will need to find out exactly where and when we are to be able to have some idea of how to return." "Right, so you guys cast a spell, find out where we are and we're home!" They just looked at me. ----------------------------- Before anyone could say anything however, there was a loud popping noise and the very fabric of reality seemed to bend back on itself. For a moment I think I saw my own foot emerging from my mouth and I swear I could taste the colour green, but then reality reasserted itself. Before me stood Bobby Drake, a.k.a. Iceman and Johnny Storm, a.k.a. Human Torch. I smiled, at last, a couple of regular guys who wouldn't treat me like a complete idiot. "Whoa!" exclaimed Johnny. "That was some weird trip." "Dr Strange! Boy, am I glad to see you, the X-mansion has been attacked." Said Bobby, pumping Stange's hand. "So was the Baxter Building!" said Johnny. "I fear we may have all have been a victim of the same aggressor" replied the sorcerer, carefully claiming his hand back. We quickly filled them in on the situation and then sat down to discuss it some more. ----------------------------- "I don't understand it. Why us?" I said. "And if we're being sent back in time, where are the other X-men?" said Bobby. "We can't jump to any conclusions without facts" said Dr Fate patiently, "but I have a theory. I think that though we were all attacked at different times, it has so far only been the most powerful that have been sent back in time. Bobby, who was at the X-mansion when you were attacked?" "It was only me, Wolverine, Beast, Angel and a few students. It's half term." "Then my theory may be correct, as an omega-level mutant you were the most powerful member there, so you were sent back here the quickest. Who was there with you Johnny?" "Uhhh... no one, just me and a couple of friends from Sweden." I raised an eyebrow and he winked at me. There was going to be some gossiping later on. "Enough theories" exclaimed Thanos suddenly, "we must find out where and when we are. An enemy with control over time and space is not one to be taken lightly." ----------------------------- "It will take all four of us" said Strange looking at me, Fate and Thanos. Fate and I will channel the Merlin and Eternal power and it should allow us to pinpoint how far back we were sent and what was used." He turned to Bobby and Johnny. "We cannot be disturbed during this time so you are our only defence. We do not know what traps our aggressor may have installed so we will need to be on the defence, a moment's distraction could mean our death." They both nodded, tempered by the solemnity of his voice. Dr Strange and Dr Fate stretched out their hands and started chanting in an ancient language. I felt the Merlin magic rise up and saw a blue hue rise off the Titan as well. They intertwined like snakes, guided by the sorcerers' voice and then catapulted off into the distance. I heard Bobby and Johnny whispering to each other, but their voices seemed far off and outlandish. I couldn't make out who was who. - I wonder who else has been attacked.- Obviously no one as powerful as us.- Maybe we'll see the Sentry, I've heard so much about the guy- Ah, he's not all that. Looks a bit like Thor and doesn't say much.- Hang on, how come Thanos is here. - What do you mean?- He's one of the bad guys isn't he. If he's been sent back, god knows who else could be! - Oh sh*t that's a good point. Suddenly there was a loud WWHHOOOMP and the ground shook around us. I felt myself tumbling, but a huge fist caught me and I heard Thanos's voice say "Don't break the circle Pendragon, or we are all doomed." A loud roar filled the air, full of hatred and anger. "That's Doomsday!" shouted either Bobby or Johnny. "We've got to draw him away from the others!" said the other. I desperately wanted to draw Excalibur and help my friends, but there was nothing I could do. A moment's distraction could mean death to Strange and Fate, and I knew that both the Human Torch and Iceman could take care of themselves. Suddenly I heard a voice in my head. - 'I think I have a theory of where we are.' - 'Thanos?' I replied in my mind. - 'Who else Pendragon.' - 'Anyone else would be a good start.' - 'Very amusing. You had a different dominant species once on Earth did you not? The dinosaurs?' - 'Yes, those are the huge ugly things you can see wondering around eating trees.' - 'It is my hypothesis that we have been transferred back to the point of their death on earth.' - 'You mean a huge asteroid is about to hit the Earth?' I subvocalised, close to a panic.- 'An asteroid? That is what you think killed the dinosaurs?' I heard a deep chuckle in my mind. - 'Ok, if not an asteroid then what? A volcano?' - 'Oh you poor deluded human, it was no simple accident that all the dinosaurs died on your world at once. If my hypothesis proves to be correct then we will soon meet an old acquaintance of mine.' - 'Who?' I asked, knowing that I was not going to like the answer. - 'On his first visit to Earth he wiped out everything that lived, and I believe it is that time. We are about to meet Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds!' Damn. ----------------------------- Sorry it's such a long one today folks, but I'm building up towards hopefully a really good arc. The fight is a simple one, Iceman and Human Torch (both at their most powerful) VS Doomsday (normal version). Hope this isn't too much of a stomp in either direction. No characters have been knocked out or anything. Nothing needs to be resubmitted. There's just a glitch I need to fix. Also, people have been adding a great deal of characters. There's over a hundred people that are messing around with this site, adding characters and whatnot. Not just the vocal few on the board, here. The admins aren't full time and some just feel more comfortable reviewing certain bins than others, probably. Anyways, give it time.

Hi there There's a couple of issues. The first is there is a bug in the Admin back end I need to fix during the maintenance this weekend. The second is there is just a lot of characters that have been added and, you know, people only have so much time. Anyways, note.... the CBUB Beta site will be down this weekend. You may want to refrain from posting any more battles here and go back to using the existing CBUB. The forums here will be open tho. However, they will go down briefly from time to time.

Tiger Ranger looked around his new office. Recently he, like many other memebers of the CBUB multiverse, had moved to the still being constructed New CBUB. While his previous place had been a minor office, this time he had spared no expense in getting a big building for himself, and given his name it looked like the Tigerzord. And he could take anything out of the vending machines for free as well, a definite plus. "Lets have a look at the fighters avalible" Tiger Ranger said, then grinned as he looked at the fighters list. "Time to start things big here" he muttered, typing away at his console. --- "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to what is sure to be an astounding battle!" an announcer shouted, the audience cheering."The first team in the fight, from Angel Grove, is the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers!" As this was announced each of the rangers, each on one of the original Dinozords/Dragonzord, waved to the crowd. "The second team, from Mariner Bay, the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers!" the announcer continued, to more cheering As before each of the rangers was on top of a zord, waving to the crowd. "And lastly, from Space itself, the Space Rangers!" the announcer added, the audience cheering again as each of the rangers waved from the Astro and Delta Megaships and the MegaWinger. "And now for the fight, the rules are as follows, each team will face each other in five rounds, whoever wins the most rounds wins overall. In the event of a tie, both ranger teams will nominated one memeber to face the other in a sudden death match!" The audience cheered even louder. "Let the fights begin!" First Round - Ranger vs Ranger, each of the teams face each other on the ground. No Battlizers or Dragon armour can be used Second Round - Basic Mecha's, The Mighty Morphin' use Megazord and Dragonzord, Space use the Astro and Delta Megazords and Lightspeed use Lightspeed and Max Solarzord Third Round - Next level, Dragonzord Battle mode vs Mega Voyager vs Supertrain Megazord Fourth Round - Hero level, Mega Dragonzord vs Astro Delta Megazord vs Omega Megazord Fith round - Final battle, Ultrazord (Original) vs Mega Voyager and Winger vs Lightspeed Solarzord (Lightspeed Megazord + Max Solarzord) Sudden Death - The team will choose either their red rangers to face each other, battlizers and armours allowed, or their extra rangers. Ground fight only. Who will win? You decide!
