Well, there have been several versions of the Clock King, which are detailed in the Wikipedia page. It really depends on how generous you want to be with the version. I'm opting for a generous interpretation. Mystery Inc. is notoriously difficult to scare off a case. You can reference any of the various animated series going back to the 70's and the movies and count on less than one hand the number of things that have scared them off a case. I don't think either one of these characters can literally scare the team off the case. However, I do think either one of them could misdirect Mystery Inc. off the case. Or, make them think there is no case. I'm liking Gaston's chances here since he's got charisma and a normal, not mysterious approach. If Mirage tries to use illusions she's just going to intrigue Mystery Inc. and suck them into investigating.

Either could potentially win. However, without Thanos having his overpowered bling I am leaning Shazam 6 out of 10.

Cartoony abilities from the Mars Attacks aliens notwithstanding, I am leaning Necrons here. I feel that non-organics with superior tech are going to be a tough opponent for the Martians. Also, if you are looking to get into some Necron game action, give Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus a look. I recently played through it and found it an entertaining strategy game.

This is a really difficult one. You could make a case for either, and it would be a reasonable argument. Alfred is an orderly personality that has a schedule which give Clock King and advantage. Alfred visits the Batcave which for sure has bats in it, and surely rats in some capacity. To be fair, bats are flying rats. That give Rat Catcher an advantage. but the question before us is... "Who can get ransom money?" Which one of these blokes is most likely to get one red cent out of Bruce Wayne? I favor Clock King to be one step ahead of the Detective and get a pay day.

Neither of these characters has a costume that's going to win any award, IMO. That said, one of them - Kangaroo - has physical feats that could entertain a crowd of nerds.

I think Mordor is one of the more consistently dangerous terrains in play. However, I believe that the skillful character can get through it and I lean Hicks here. In the film Return of the King we get a really good look at how Mordor operates and we learn a few things. it has wide stretches of open wasteland. the Eye passes over you if you keep your head down. it's fairly easy to get Orcs to fight one another - case in point, when Sam solos the tower looking for Frodo. Shelob will not survive an encounter with Hicks future tech, nor will any Orcs. It's really down to Hicks not be spotted by a Nazgul, IMO. Hicks has no chance against a Nazgul which cannot be killed by men. It's literally gender specific what can kill it. I think, in general, Hicks has the right training and attitude to keep low and get through a day.

I'm leaning Segata on this one. The doll literally looks like a vampire victim. Is he holding out giving his chocolaty breakfast cereal to the poor child? I'm not really seeing the Count's marketing angle.

I'll always put in a good word for Red Sonja just because I'm a fan of Robert E. Howard related stuff in general. You might have to step in and represent on the others.

We need to consider Red Sonja's incredible archery skills. Bow and arrows is part of her standard kit, and she is regularly shown in her comics using archery feats. If things get up close and personal, then it just gets worse for Jonah.

I believe I counted out that this season would run 17 (seventeen) regular rounds BEFORE the finals. That's just to get through the Holidays at the leisure pace of a round every 4 days. This season has a loooong way to go. Anyone still has time to make a move up.

Hera is the patron Goddess of marriage and all the things surrounding it which could extend to family and so forth. A powerful deity for sure, but I'm not sure where that attracts Vampires. Isis is a player in the cycle of life, death and rebirth. As Vampires are essentially reborn from death, I see an angle there for Isis among Vampires. I would have to go with Isis here.

One hilarious thing - Disney owns Marvel now, but Universal has the rights to Marvel characters for rides in Florida. So the big place for Marvel rides and merchandise in Florida is actually Universal Studios, not Disney.

Ripley is a traumatized individual who wakes up night after night suffering from nightmares. That's cannon - opening of Aliens lays it out. The Overlook hotel is gonna be on Ellen Ripley like Tallahassee on a twinkie.

Someone mentioned in the previous Poseidon match that in the 2006 version the ship sinks before 24 hours are up. So, you'd have to go to the 1972 version, as that is the version which lasts for the 24 hour length of the match. Therefore, nothing is forcing the contestant to move if they can find a safe place to wait out the clock.
