  1. I'm a little suprised that people are leaning so much towards the Jinn's on this one. I assumed by seeing a cartoon picture it might sway a few more in a different fashion. Additionally, while I can't prove this, I would lean towards the thought of perhaps the majority of feats created by the Genie is mere illusion. Simply put he can make powerful things happen, but usually just shows an apparition of what could be. According to islam a jinn would be considered a being not quite as powerful as an angel, but listed above man.
  2. A Whole New World Aladdin had finally released Genie from his despised lamp. Genie used this freedom to see as much of the world as he could. For almost a century he wandered about, admiring all the sights, sounds, and smells. After seeing what he thought was all that was to offer he decided to try to return to the dimension that he had originated from. He managed to find a powerful sorcerer who was able to return him to the dimension where he originated. The sorcerer warned him that there would be no return to this dimension of man without putting the world into peril. The Genie said a goodbye to his friends in this plane and returned to the sorcerer. The sorcerer soon completed the incantation, and sent Genie home. Finally reunited with fellow Jinn’s he began to tell them of all he had seen while being with all the humans. The Jinn’s were amazed at all the stories of these humans. The Jinn’s had never been able to view what Genie had seen with their own eyes in such distinction. The beautiful colors, the smell of aromas, and the stories of human interaction enthralled them all. The Jinn then began to wonder how they too might be able to see this mysterious world. Knowing that normally it was not possible for them to pass between the worlds the other Jinn’s began to question Genie on how the ceremony was done so that they might possibly learn to do it themselves. Genie warned them of the sorcerer’s words, but they refused to pay them much heed. For years tried and tried to find a way to reverse the spell that brought Genie back. Suddenly they found a way. Throwing all disregards to safety, the world of Jinn’s began to slowly break into the Humans dimension. Meanwhile…. The Guardians began noticing a tear begin to emerge in the universe. After painfully remembering some of their own mistakes when messing with time and dimensions, they believed this tear must not happen. While the Guardians had heard of Jinn before, they did not realize what powers they possessed. The Guardians sent the Green Lantern Corps to investigate. They were given orders to ensure that the tear must be stopped at all costs, or life on Earth could cease to exist. The Green Lantern Corps arrived at the tear and entered into the Jinn realm. Diplomatic speeches did not seem to help the Lanterns achieve any real results. The Jinn firmly believed that with their magical prowess they could simply fix the tear in the fabric of time easily once they had achieved moving through it. Incapable of taking such a risk The Green Lantern Corps began an attack. What they assumed would be a quick battle was soon forgotten. The Jinn’s would shape shift making them look identical to their enemy. While the Green Lantern Corps rings would work it was if some mystical force gave the Jinn a strong natural defense against its power. Perhaps it was their ability to appear as a waft of smoke. The battle continues….
  3. Jean achieved her telepathic powers kind of late since she was incapable of controlling them. Ol wheels blocked her from achieving them until he believed she could control them. I presume on that she would be in her early 20's, which should mean the same for the invisible girl. So in essence Sue just recieved her powers and is still training with them(i.e wouldn't have figured out how to make force fields). Before Jean had her telepathic powers she still was a very capable of using telekinesis. Jean's power was limited, but definately usefull for throwing around multiple objects in many directions. Sue's only possiblity here is to try to sneak away, while dodging the multiple objects being thrown around the room.
  4. I appreciate it Dskillz. I was trying to figure out a more logical way for people to grasp why a superpowered rodent would go unnoticed. I figured by giving them more of an animalistic way of life it would become more believable. That way they could almost hide out unnoticed in the eyes of the superhero world. Then suddenly something happens where they're forced out of the shadows.
  5. Pearl Pureheart, the love interest of Mighty Mouse decides to take a break from being kidnapped left and right and decided to vacation in the lush Louisiana swamps. Her nose quickly inhaled all the possibilities of food around her. A silent mountain of muck lays close by, unnoticed, watching her move nearby. Finding a discarded lunch next to a large murky body of water she feasted upon it. After finishing all she could hold she went up to the water to get a drink. As she began lapping the water she noticed what appeared to be a log floating closer to her. As it got closer the she suddenly realized that the log was really an alligator. In a stroke of panic she starts singing “Might Mouse, Mighty Mouse, come and save me Mighty Mouse. Suddenly right before the alligator strikes, Mighty Mouse appears in the sky. Seeing the love of his life about to be eaten alive he zooms into action. With an enthusiastic bellow †I’m Coming†in his ever so rich voice he lets loose a flurry of tiny fists, knocking all the teeth from the alligator’s mouth. The alligator is so frightened he jumps out of his skin leaving Pearl with a great pair of alligator boots. A mixture of the sense of fear from the alligator and a passion from all the singing brings the Man-Thing to his feet. Confused with all he just saw and the emotional surge going through his body the Man-Thing swings, swatting Mighty Mouse out of the air. Pearl screams in fear, with all her might confusing the Man-Thing even more. Mighty Mouse begins to fly towards the Man-Thing with his normal load of confidence. He let loose a giant blow and quickly realized he just punched through the Man-Thing. The Man-Thing appears to be unharmed and turns to face his opponent again. Never has the beast seen such raw human-like emotion out of such a small, powerful creature. With no means of communication possible between the two, both are assuming the worse of the other. A battle begins!!!
  6. Poor Superman never had much of a chance. Martian the Manhunter has a few extra abilities that would keep superman from doing real damage, including telepathy, shape-shifting, projecting energy, x-ray vision, phasing, invisibility, flight, and super strength. Shapeshifting, telepathy, and super strength should solve this quick. Appear as Lois Lane. Confuse his mind. Beat him to a pulp. Too simple. A similar story happened before when Martian goes rogue. Martian the Manhunter sends Superman to the edge of the universe.
  7. Mr. Fantastic has been put in charge of rehabilitating the Sandman. After some intense therapy Mr. Fantastic finds that if he could somehow return him to the day where he first slips into evils hold by throwing a football game perhaps Sandman could fix his past. Mr. Fantastic manages to create a 10 minute window in which the sandman can go back and right his wrong. The sandman is placed inside his machine and the countdown begins. Suddenly in a flash of light the machine starts when the Baxter building is struck by lightning throwing off all of Reed’s electronics. The surge of energy pushes the Sandman back much further into the past then projected. When the sandman arrives he sees Dorian Gray gazing at a body lying on the floor with a bloody sword lodged in the man’s chest. Dorian hears a slight noise behind him and turns his head. “I’ll be with you presentlyâ€, Dorian adds with a smirk. Dorian pulls his sword out of the man’s chest and heads towards sandman. “I wouldn’t do that if I were youâ€, Sandman says. “Your small time compared to meâ€. Dorian smiles before releasing a flutter of slices towards Sandman. Sandman hardens his body blocking the blows and sends Dorian hurtling towards the wall. Dorian stands, and briefly brushes sand off his shoulder. “One of us will soon be feasting in hellâ€, Dorian says with a sly grin and lunges….. First battle!!!
  8. I think Chief would have a fighting chance at first. Fire and Ice thrown against a suit that can go through space is durable. Space temperatures can be range between 150c to -180c. Anything built to withstand just that is formidable. Even if you can magically move say fire and ice from different dimensions, fire is still fire, and ice is still ice. The bigger problem would be retaliation for chief. Just because his suit is a natural deflection of some of the attacks, his fighting techniques for hand to hand combat would be lacking. Suits are made to come on and off fairly easily. Once the killer combo figured it out its bye bye Chief.
