  1. Running and hiding from dinos I think would prep Alan for this task. He doesn't have to wipe everything out, he just needs to survive 24 hours.

He's also shown to be able to defend himself if need be. I'm pretty sure a Spas 12 will somehow end up in his hands. But again, he doesn't need to rambo the city, just survive.

I also agree we should assume he's immune, as that would just be an auto fail for every contestant.

Sense I'm here. Some have interpreted this scenario as who can take over Earth faster.

If we take it that way. Then gaining control of Earth governments through clandestine invasion. Would still satisfy the win condition.

Ehhh, maybe but as both are invading at the same time and Necrons are genocidal I don't really see that panning out too well. They're steamrolling through everything, infiltrating some Earth leaders is great for a longterm strategy but useless against a blitzkrieg like the Necrons.

But all this is moot now. The war is over, let's put this to rest unless someone wants to make a match.

Judges receive intense mental as well as physical training during their years at the Academy. They are prepped to face fear, worry and anything the craziness of life can throw at them.

Additionally, Dredd is the best of the best and also resistant to psionics.

Event Horizon preys on weakness and fear - much like the undead Judge Fear from another dimension - who kills people by showing them his face (reflects their worst fear back to them).

Here is what happened when he tried that on Dredd:

Add to that Dredd's armour and arsenal, and the fact that his technology is in advance of Event Horizon (roughly year 2142 versus 2047), and I'm pretty sure he'll survive and win, let alone just survive 24 hours.

Except you can't just punch out the Event Horizon. You could destroy the ship but that would just leave you dead or stranded in space where you'll die from oxygen running out

Edit: Honestly I really shouldn’t be letting you bait me like this. Neither of the combatants are mine so all I’m really doing is doing someone else’s job for them. So I guess this’ll be my final point, so ciao.

I really don't have anything else to say your debates have taken all of my talking points already.

Kaa isn't a guarantee, but he is by far the most likely win-con either of these two have. By your own admission, Zira spent decades planning her last coup and it still failed. She doesn't have decades of planning this time, and she doesn't have a magical hypnotizing snake to help her win. Shrek and Fiona are too smart and skilled for Zira to take on, and Shere Khan's use of Kaa is a far more viable strategy even if it doesn't work 100% of the time

She doesn't need decades to plan for this, this is far easier than serving up revenge. My point was she's got the conniving guile and the patience to see it out. Also who would have predicted Kovu falling in love? It's a story trope but no one thinks story tropes are real. And she still had a backup plan, and another backup plan.

Zira wont take the two on directly, she'd have her lackeys do that while she sneaks up and snatches the babies away. She's too smart for a direct confrontation. Direct confrontations are what Shere Khan prefers though, him using Kaa seems out of character, their relationship is tepid at best Khan knows Kaa is well.... a snake.
