Rumble 16924 Mordru vs. Samhain (Ghostbusters)
SSJRuss replied to leroypowell3's topic in CBUB Unrated Rumbles
I do not know either of these guys but Samhain looks dope. -
I know Bugs seems like a weird pull, but I thought it fun to see how he could throw a wrench in here do to his toon force. And honestly his team needs him because Raya and Ezio won't be able to do much but hide in the swamp and wait for a chance to strike. Bugs probably can't win this even with his toon force. He could tie up the Beholder in a one-on-one and probably trick the Cyclops, but I don't think he can beat B.O.B on top of that.

I'll be honest, I didn't think Team KingKenCage would even make it to the tournament proper Team Widowmaker seemed the closest to an even fight, though Cable and Mara are tough on their own and may even solo in some cases. The arena doesn't do TeamKKC any favors though because they won't have much in the way of cover. If they can get Ken and Cage to double team Cable, I think they have a decent change of winning, but that means King would have to distract Mara and John Wick, which would not last long imo. In this scenario where King and Cable are eliminated first, the fight becomes more even but still heavily leans on Widowmaker getting the W. Team Widowmaker 8/10

*The finale didn't last more than three minutes. And in that time, Mario fell to the might of She-Hulk.* Lawler: I can't believe my eyes, J.R! Mario's out cold! J.R: You better believe it, King. No ring outs, no surrenders. She-Hulk just got the decisive victory by KO. *Mario lies in the middle of the ring. She-Hulk's hand is raised. Green fireworks go off around the arena.* J.R: There you have it folks. Our winner and champion, She-Hulk. She now stands as the second only victor of the Grand Cross-Galactic Budokai Tenkaichi! Lawler: That's the second woman to have won J.R. I told you, believe in the power of the PUPPIES! J.R: Well you're right about one thing. She-Hulk now stands side by side with last year's champion, Wonder Woman. They gave it their all and gave the audience what they wanted to see. Thank you for being with us folks. *Ainz waves his hand, using magic to bring about a box from thin air. He presents the box to She-Hulk. She takes it in hand, unclips the latch, and pulls the lid open to see...* *Seven Dragon Balls. All there was to do now was make her wish...*

The creators of the Grand Cross-Galactic Budokai Tenkaichi bring you ... The Verse City League Tournament! Round one continues! Two teams of three fight the other inside our randomly generated arena. A team wins when the opposing team is completely defeated either by KO, Death, or Submission. Team members will work together as a team and as always, each combatant will have their respective powers and equipment that they can carry into the ring. No outside help or influence is allowed. And there is no prior knowledge of their opponents unless they’ve encountered each other prior to coming to Verse City. Which team will advance? Time for you to decide! Now, let’s continue with round one... [Team One-Eye] - B.O.B, Beholder, Cyclops VS [Team UnderRabbit] - Ezio, Raya, Bugs Bunny Battle Arena Terrain:

Match 16904 Squidward Tentacles vs. Daffy Duck
SSJRuss replied to Pizzaguy2995's topic in CBUB Rated Matches
Fun set up! I don't have a high opinion of Squidward though. Daffy takes the win -
Glad you enjoyed it. I should have posted it awhile ago but it finally happened. I'm sure there are others that think Mario is some sort of planet buster or whatever, But I think it's sort of a stretch. He had a lot of power ups though and that really adds to his arsenal. I think what really clenches the win for She-Hulk is the fact that she's been able to study Mario in this tournament and would have strategized much better than Mario would have.

I also feel Civil War did more for Marvel than Injustice has done for DC. Civil War put Iron Man back to the forefront as a major character and helped his popularity. It caused Marvel to bring Spider-Man back to basics. Hell, it started the comic book event craze of 2000s/10s. Such an important run for comics.

Match 16900 Cybermen (Mondasian) vs. Hun
SSJRuss replied to Movie-Brat's topic in CBUB Rated Matches
Creative match up. Like seeing more Doctor Who content on the site. Think this is a pretty easy battle for the Cybermen. They are nearly indestructible and adapt well to strategy. It may just be a matter of time but they'll wipe up the Purple Dragons for good. Also that combat pic for the Cybermen looks like a character select image for Mortal Kombat. Lol -
Great story, Leroy. I like the premise. I think I'll side with Gotham on this one. A whole year is a long time and even the Joes would be outnumbered. Gotham just has too many wackos that they aren't prepared for. And if the Bat-Family can't keep Gotham streets clean for a week, I don't think G.I. Joe can handle a year.

I'd say the teams are more in line with their characters, i.e. not bloodlusted. That said, Luke at his best is very tough to beat. His best isn't ROTJ though because he was still fresh and kind of figuring things out. I agree that Scar is the weak link for his team. His best chances of winning a one-on-one would be with Jack, but that's only if he catches him off guard. Which that seems to happen to him a lot. He especially gets slapped when he's overwhelmed with multiple enemies. I'd still give the win to him though. Team Avenger needs to take the fight to the sky because it's the only way they will beat Team Hero. Luke is too dangerous up close and has almost no defense from further away (other than deflecting blasts I suppose). If they can take out Scar and Luke first, then they can focus on Kimberly. She will be tricky to beat because she is fast, durable and has good aim with that bow. If her team uses her as an archer for support, they have a good shot at keeping the other team off balance. Then again, they are in R'lyeh so she might not have clear sights or vantage points to fire from. Leaning toward Team Avenger.

Thinking more on this, yeah I think I agree. Team Ninja Clan has no way to effectively fight Lemillion except for Scorpion and his hellfire. I could see a scenario where Scorpion either puts too many buildings or streets on fire and cuts the surface area Lemillion has to work with. The heat and lack of oxygen will also hurt Lemillion in the long run as well. The other way is if Scorpion can somehow pull Lemillion into the underworld/hellpit and cut him off from the rest of his team. Chances are slim but Scorpion is a much more seasoned fighter than anybody else here. If I were to pair other fighters, I could see Scarlet Spider vs Aloy. She has the slim chance of tagging him with an arrow or trap, but in this arena(NYC) Spider has the clear advantage. Ultimately he wins that fight. Raphael vs Jonathan would go either way. They are probably close in levels of strength but that's about it. Raphael is faster and more skilled as a fighter. As long as he can avoid hamon attacks, I give Raph 6/10 win. Maybe 7 considering this is home turf for him. I could mix up the matches but anyway you slice it nobody has a better chance at beating Lemillion than Scorpion. And Scarlet could beat either Raph or Aloy in a fight so.. Team Justice 8.5/10 wins.
