THE WAR OF THE NINJAS *******Batman and Batgirl watched the news regarding the massacre of 12 people in Chinatown. Batman-Its getting worst **************Batman sits down to type on the computer Batgirl-I heard this was the 5th killing spree this week. I have had contacts telling me that there is a new group in town trying to take over. Batman-They're headed by a woman named Yuriko. ***************Batgirl pauses Batgirl-I see you have contacts of your own. Batman-I just like to be thorough. I have things I need to check on here in Gotham. Go there and do some intel. Try to make your presence known. X-23-it's going to be a dark night. BEST OF THE BEST ****************Batgirl arrived in town a went directly to Chinatown to see the crime scene. She took pics of the bodies and took samples from the area. She made her way around the corner and saw foot prints that left the scene. Batgirl-One girl late teens, and one male late thirties. Maybe they could be the ones working for this Yuriko. She stood glancing at the foot prints and started to follow them. *****************She called one of her friends in the area and they told her a popular hang out for criminals as well as a popular bar owed by a man named Avalanche. She then took to the rooftops and made her way to Avalanches Bar. She changed into civilan clothes before she entered. She went inside and had a couple of drinks and she then noticed a girl with muddy shoes who looks no older than 17. She then walked over to her and took a seat. But before she could sit down X-23 smelled traces of blood for the crime scene on Cassandras shoes. Batgirl-You look a bit young to be here. X-23-I was going to say the same with you. What do you know about the massacre in Chinatown? ************Batgirl took another sip of her beer. Batgirl-Why do you ask? By the way your sitting I cant tell your slightly agitated. *************x-23-Turned toward her. X-23-I can smelled dried blood on you from the murders. So again What do you know about the murders? I can assure you that you don't want me to ask again. *************Batgirl turned X-23 and they were locked in eye contact. Batgirl examined every muscle tension within X-23's body and anticipated for her to throw a blow, while X-23 picked up on Batgirls increased adrenaline level before Avalanche stepped in. Avalance-You two take that outside. IF you mess up anything Laura, the bill is going to Cyclops. *************The two girls remained in eye contact with each other as they both walked outside. They both started to circle each other both looking for a weakness to exploit. x-23 brought out her claws as Batgirl didnt expect that. Batgirl-nice trick. But I will keep you alive because I need answers. X-23-Keep me alive? I wont give such a promise to you. **************X-23 lunged at Batgirl only for her to side step and she delivered a massive blow to side of her head which sent X-23 into the nearby trash cans. Batgirl-You can't beat me. You telegraph your moves. *************X-23 stood up and ganshed her teeth. X-23-No I underestimated you a problem I will quickly remedy. ***************X-23 Slashed at Batgirl and casually caught her across her side. Batgirl-Your faster than I thought. I saw it coming but couldnt block it. That is rare. I will have to finish you quickly. ***************Batgirl sped toward X-23 and caught her with a right hook and left hook at tried to catch her with a knee uppercut before X-23 stepped back and elbowed her to the mouth. X-23 then went on the offensive and tried kicking Batgirl with a blade attached to her foot which Batgirl blocked and countered with a kick to her midsection. X-23 flipped then landed on her feet and quickly landed a palm blow to her nose which staggered Batgirl, X-23 lounged at her and got on top of her and Batgirl kicked her off sending her flying into nearby trash. She then brought of her compacted staff and stood poised for X-23 to get up but X-23 tackled her before she had time to get react. x-23 tried stabbing her in the throat but missed and batgirl struck her with the side of the staff and got on top of her. She started choking her until X-23 Sliced the staff in half and stabbed her in the shoulder. Batgirl then countered by hitting her with a pressure point blow to x-23s leg which made her drop down in agony. On her way down X-23 stabbed Batgirl in the stomach which made her drop as well. As they both laid there in pain. Batgirl realized she faced a skilled opponent who missed every major artery as well as X-23 realized that Batgirl didnt try to deliver any lethal blows. X-23 laid there and asked Batgirl. X-23-Did you have anything to do with the murders? ***************Batgirl laid there panting Batgirl-No. ***************X-23 sat up and looked off in the distance. X-23-I believe you. Batgirl-Why? X-23-Because i can tell when people are lying. and aslo during the fight you could have pressure pointed me and the fight could have been over. Batgirl-At the same time you were faster so you could have taken my head off. ****************They both smirked. WORLDS FINEST? X-23-Laura Batgirl-Cassandra. I came here to find out who was responsible for the murders. I have intel saying its the work of a new power player by the name of Yuriko. X-23-Lady Deathstrike is her alias. Batgirl-Does she work for a clan or family? X-23-No she is making her own empire. Batgirl-She is that deadly? X-23-Yes. She is more robot than human. She has claws that can slice through anything as well as a martial arts master. ********************Batgirl looked at X-23 get up with no brusies from the fight. Batgirl-You heal fast. X-23-Yeah. She has that ability as well which will make killing her that much harder. ********************She extended her hand and helped up cassandra. X-23-You have to rest and gather your strength. I know where she is. Batgirl-I may not heal as fast as you but no offense I have felt worst pain. ***************X-23 smirked X-23-Well do what you want but I'm not about to ruin the small amount of clothes i have fighting her so I'm about to get dressed. X-23-Enhanced senses, healing ability, and my claws are made of a metal called adamantium and they are unbreakable. Batgirl-So you can "smell" where she is? X-23-Only if she hasn't washed the blood off. ***************************Lady Deathstrike watched from across the street the two girls. LDS-You shouldnt have came here little girls? X-23-GET DOWN!!! ************************************Multiple gun men came out and shot at them. Batgirl jumped through a close by window and saw her friend shot up. When the fire stopped she swiftly rushed the gun men and took them down. After she finished beating them she looked over to see her friend staggering to her feet. Batgirl-YOUR ALIVE?
