Previously: After Megatron’s abandonment of the Decepticons, Starscream took over. He created an alliance of the Renegade faction of the GoBots and sought to eliminate Sounwave. Soundwave escaped and killed King Mondo thus taking over the Machine Empire. He also made an alliance with the Zentraedi Miriya who had suffered at the hands of The Insecticons. They attacked and Soundwave concentrated on the Renegades while Miriya dueled it out with Starscream. There was no point sitting here waiting for Soundwave to get him. This was the Renegades problem. Let them deal with him. That was Starscream’s line of thinking as he blasted through the hull and flew through his self made exit. As soon as he was clear of the ship, he transformed and began his journey back to Cybertron. He of course didn’t have the energy to make it all the way back there, but someone on patrol would find him and arrange to finish the journey. A scan behind him indicated that he was being chased. “What are you doing Zentraedi?!†Starscream bellowed. “The Decepticons have no quarrel with your kind!†“Surrender the Insecticons and you’ll have no trouble from me!†Miriya promised. “I will do no such thing!†Starscream shouted back. He felt no particular loyalty to the Insecticons. No one really liked them so there would be no backlash if he did comply. But he just couldn’t let himself be commanded by Soundwave’s new ‘girlfriend’. At first, Starscream wondered why she wasn’t attacking. As he turned around to face her, he understood that she was still locking on. When the missiles came, Starscream was impressed at the effort it took to evade them. “Very good, Zentraedi! Very good!†The Decepticon said mockingly. “Now see how a real flyer locks a target!†He shot off two missiles. Miriya blasted them out of existence and came right at him. Zentraedi were roughly the same size as an average Cybertronian. Their battle mecha and their power armor, like the one that Miriya was wearing, made them noticeably bigger. Starcream wouldn’t admit to being intimidated when she was right on him, reaching out to snag him, but he Transformed and swatted her hand away and converted back to plane mode and pulled away. When there was some distance, he went back to robot mode and wildly volleyed away dozens of null rays. Being impressed was an understatement as Miriya dodged them all. She even managed some return fire in which Starscream suffered a hit. He screamed, which was music to Miriya’s ears. Her missiles were locked on and she was ready to end him when… “Wait!†Starscream cried. The pain and the pleading not hidden in his voice. “I can tell you where the Insecticons are! I can even set them up so that you can ambush them!†Miriya listened. “They won’t suspect a thing and you can destroy them at your leisure!†“Bring them now.†Miriya demanded. “Let me set it up properly!†Starscream continued to implore. “As disgusting as they are, they’re still dangerous!†“I won’t wait.†Said Miriya. Suddenly, Starscream’s cowardly demeanor changed. “You’ve already waited too long!†The whole time that he had been begging for his life, negotiating mercy, he had been moving in closer. Her missiles were still locked on, no doubt, but he had lulled her into dropping her guard. The Zentraedi had become more interested in what her enemy was offering than in destroying him. When he was sure that he would be successful, Starscream blasted her several times with his null ray. Miriya howled as she fell to the ship in which they had both flown away from. *** For the most part, the Cogs were destroying the Renegade fighters. Gobots were far inferior to Cybertronians. Two of the three whom Soundwave had battled before- Coptur and Crasher- were holding their own. The Renegades leader, Cy-Kill, was also displaying some combat worth. Soundwave was about to initiate the rematch with them when his Zentraedi accomplice, Miriya, crashed through the roof. Her Quadrino armor was in poor shape and the Zentraedi herself didn’t seem conscious. A moment later, Starscream flew down. He landed triumphantly beside his vanquished foe and made a robust announcement. “I’ve put down your girlfriend, Soundwave! And you know these Machine Empire drones are no match for me! Why don’t we settle this once and for all?†“Agreed.†Soundwave said coldly. He stepped forward and Starscream shouted at the surviving Renegades. “Now! Blast him!†“Hold!†Cy-Kill countered. “What?!†cried Starscream. “This is your chance to destroy him?†“This is your chance, Starscream.†Cy-Kill amended. “Let’s see how capable you are of disposing of one of your rebels.†The challenging smirk showed brightly on his face. Starscream fumed. “I’ll show you!†He stood off with Soundwave. “I’ll show you all!†Fight Parameters Duel to the death. Generation 1 version of both characters No cassettes for Soundwave.

Successful in testing her battle armor, Miriya returned to Soundwave’s hideout base. She was still amazed at the fact that the lone Decepticon had taken over the Machine Empire. Because the Zentraedi had not had conflict with Cybertron, Miriya didn’t understand the factions to the degree that she wished she had. Of course the Robotech Masters had provided basic intelligence on the planet’s mechanized inhabitants but standing orders were to leave them alone unless provoked. She found it odd that Soundwave didn’t contact her during her approach. When she got inside, climbed out of her armor and returned to Soundwave’s control room she was startled to see the mech in battle with a samurai looking being. At this point, Soundwave had the victory well in hand bringing his shoulder cannon to bear and unloading on his opponent. The other being lay on the floor lifeless. “What is going on!†Miriya exclaimed. “He has retreated back into cyberspace.†Soundwave said coldly. “What do you mean? He’s lying right there!†“An empty shell.†Soundwave explained. “His cyber conscience has retreated.†“Who is he?†“Unknown. But for now he is gone.†“What are we going to do now?†Miriya asked. “And it better involve getting those Insecticons.†Sondwave turned away from her. “We are ready to begin to extract our revenge.†Miriya listened intently. When she understood the plan, they embarked. Through his superior sensor abilities Soundwave intercepted a communication indicating that Starscream would be going to Gobatron for a meeting with The Renegade faction of that planet. Soundwave and Miriya were going to intercept the new Decepticon leader’s transport and destroy him. He didn’t mention that the Insecticons were nowhere near the area but the opportunity to get them would turn up eventually. Backed by the army of the Machine Empire, Soundwave and Miriya attacked. Starscream and Cy-Kill were in discussions when the fighting started. The Reneagades obeying Cy-Kill tried to defend the meeting but they were overrun by the Machine Empire forces. After a while, The Machine Empire battled their way to the leaders. Cy-Kill waited for the first enemy to come through the door so that he could blast them. A few giant-sized Cogs- the Machine Empires infantry robots-were obliterated but they kept coming. When they had secured the room- leaving Cy-Kill, Crasher, Cop-Tur and Starscream functional- Soundwave and Miriya entered. “You!†Starscream bellowed. He whirled on Cy-Kill. “You said you terminated him!†“An error.†Cy-Kill replied grumblingly. Soundwave said nothing as he stared his enemies down. The memory of Buzzsaw, Rumble and Frenzy plagued him. When he finally spoke, he uttered a mere two words. “Destroy them.†The Renegades fought for their lives. But Starscream withdrew, transforming into plane mode and blowing through the ship’s hull. Soundwave had warned Miriya that the new Decepticon leader would probably do such a thing and she gave chase. “What is wrong with you Zentraedi!†Starscream whined. “This isn’t your fight! What business do you have with our kind?†“Surrender the Insecticons to me!†Miriya replied. “I will do no such thing!†Starscream yelled. He had no reason to deny her the request. The Insecticons were unique but not irreplaceable. Most Decepticons really didn’t even like them. Starscream just wanted to be defiant. Miriya began to set him in her targeting sites. “Then you’ll get no mercy from me!†Fully drunk with belligerency, Starscream suddenly turned around. “It’s you who won’t get any mercy from me!†Fight Parameters Arial dog fight to the death (actually they’re in space). Miriya is full-sized, fighting in her Quadrino battle armor. Starscream is Generation 1 version

This match takes place perhaps a good thirty minutes after the Decepticon vs. Holy Brittiannian Empire. If there was one thing Kallen knew the most it was that they were in danger. These new Knightmare Frames were dangerous. With their ability to transform and try to get themselves out of danger, it made them even more of a threat. Like Zero she too hoped for the best. It was as if she knew that Japan was going to under go a serious change. As she is taking her Guren MK II to Mount Fuji. She is stopped at a new sight. For in front of her was yet another robot similar to the ones attacking Brittiania. How she knew was in the robot's eyes. "Zero...We have a problem" Kallen said. Zero's response was "What sort of problem?" Kallen answers "I've came up against one of these new Knightmare Frames only from what scanners show he's in somesort of armor but he can't transform like the others...Shall I try to take him on?" Zero answers her "Yes, but be careful Kallen, these new Knightmares are very aggressive. I'll try to come and help you out." Kallen agrees "Thanks Zero." She then turns her attention to the one in front of her "Who are you?" The Decepticon answers "Who am I?" "Oh, what the heck I'll answer, I'm am Commander Starscream." "Commander?" Kallen asked. Starscream sighs "Or would've been had Lord Megatron-" "Megatron?" Kallen asked "Who is that?" Starscream answers "The Leader of most of us Decepticon." "Decepticon?" Kallen asked again "Hold on Most?" Starscream replies slyly "Why yes, I used to serve under Lord Megatron, until he thought of me as a weakling..." Kallen looks at him not buying him "You know these Decepticon right?" Starscream agrees "Yes, I do know them. Why?" Kallen gathers up her courage "Because I'm taking you in? The We the Black Knights of Justice, need to know all we can about you Decepticon." "Do we really have to?" Starscream asked "I was thinking of asking you to join me, together we can easily destroy Megatron." "What about the other Decepticon?" Kallen asked. Starscream answers "Why, I'll lead them!" It was a wrong answer and he for once catches himself in the act "Oops." Kallen's response to this was "I will NOT join anyone that is doing this to my home!" Starscream smiles "I'm not going to be captured" he smiles "This armor I'm in will protect me, you'll only end up destroying yourself." Kallen doesn't seem to take this slightly "We'll see about this, my Guren MK II will defeat you and you will be taken prisoner!" Who wins? Kallen is in Guren MK II and it's fully upgraded towards the end of the first season of Code Geass. Starscream's version is the one in Transformers Prime and is in his Autobot Relic he managed to get from Optimus Prime and Dreadwing. Can Kallen's Knightmare Frame defeat Starscream?
