Doctor Doom is scanning the multi verses one day seeking a means which will allow him to overcome the opposition of the accursed Fantastic Four, the Avengers and all the others who would stand in his way of leading the world to it's rightful destiny of his benevolent rulership. When suddenly he spots in one reality items of vast power such as the Spear of Destiny and the Bell, Book and the Wheel as well as many others that would give him a vast advantage over his superhuman foes as they would have no knowledge of them and how to overcome them. Using his time platform Doom adjust the controls to take him sideways through time. It takes him from his reality into the one where the objects lie. Doctor Fate senses that a potential reality damaging event may occur unless he intervenes to stop it He tracks down Doom as he is about to seize the first object. Doctor fate "I know not who you are stranger but I know evil is what you intend with the objects you seek." Doctor Doom "Evil never I seek only the good of my world under my total control." "That I cannot allow for to remove these objects from my world may cause irreparable damage to it . Not to mention the harm introducing these items may cause to your own world." Doctor Doom "You may try but I fear you will find this a task much easier said than done." Who would win this battle of the doctors? Both are sorcerer supremes but Doctor Doom is also a master of technology. While Doctor Fate is fighting on home ground?

Doom is in a deep sleep in his gorgeous palace in Latveria. Doom violently shakes his entire body being interrupted by a loud ring. Doom lifts his body in his bed, one would think he taught the Undertaker his gimmick. He rubs his mask where his eyes’ would be as if getting the eye gunk out. The next loud ring didn’t even get to finish as the phone was violently grabbed by Doom’s hand. “Who dare wakes DOOM!†He screams into the phone holding it away from his face. “Vic, it’s me. We need to talk now!†The voice on the other end was frantic, ye almost inaudible. “Doom told you to call Doom’s cell phone! Someone might hear us!†Doom rebuttals with a softer tone. “Your phone is on vibrate!†The voice screams at him Doom reaches around the bed frantically for his cell phone. Once he grabs it, he notices 24 missed calls. He lets out a sigh and hangs his head low as he spoke. “Doom’s phone….was on vibrate. I’m sorry. Don’t scream though! People may hear you now!†He says empathetically before raising it at the end. “We have a problem. A big problem.†The voice says softly and seriously. “I’ll be there in a minute.†Doom says as he hangs up the phone and stands up to put on his armor. Doom shows up to what looks like a hotel room. Things are tossed about, tables are broken, and there is glass everywhere. He sees a man knocked out laying in the corner. He looks over and shakes his head as friend approaches him . “Kent! What did you do?!†Doom screams in a low tone. “He knew. The Bat knew. He confronted me about it and I had to do something. If we’re doing this, it has to happen now!†Fate says back to Doom “You could’ve at least told Doom to bring some damn Doombots!†Doom says nervously. “Look, the Bat is down and the Martian and Diana will not be here!†Fate says trying to pump Doom up “Doom doesn’t know, man.†Doom says scratching his forehead. “We can do this! Now come on Doom, let’s take over the world!†Fate says sticking out his arm to receive a high five. Doom looks at his friend. He then gives Fate a 1980’s jumping high five. “They will all bow to DOOM!†He screams as his friend does a light cough to make sure he gets credit too. “Doom and Fate!†They both start doing a maniacal laugh before they device a plan.
