You NEED a setup. Look at some of the betterly written matches to get some examples. And as much as I like Shonen Jump, Silver Surfer is nearly unbeatable. Silver Surfer ftw.

Okay, since you're new here (at least I hope you're new), I'll try to help you out on how things work here.

 

The Matches Forum is not the place to post one or two sentences to just ask "Who wins?" It's really meant for writing decent match set-ups that not only tell who's fighting, but why they're fighting, what their motivations are. And you don't have to just have your characters fighting; you could have them compete in a sporting event or even an eating contest. There's nothing wrong with writing a funny set-up, either. Use your imagination.

 

You should post something like this at the Rumbles Forum. There, people can give their opinions and debate on who would win, and maybe even give you ideas for writing your set-up to post here at the Matches Forum.

First off, these guys are right, you should have put a a setup in this battle. And Second, It's a tie. They both have the power to destory a planet, they can both fly, shoot some type of energy, and are both powerful beings in the universe.

First match? Ok, just a fair warning, to keep from getting blasted on this site you need to put forth some thought and effort into your setups. This site is just as much about the story as it is about the actual combatants.

 

Silver Surfer wins this fight with little effort. He has the ability to change the substances on a molecular level, he can use that to rip apart Gohan. Surfer wins for the same reasons that Cosmic level beings win, the ability to transmutate anything into something completely different. Gohan can't fight if he's changed to water, air, a tree, or anything else. On top of that, once Surfer changes Gohan, he can just take him into outer space and leave him. Hell, he could even change Gohan back. Sayains don't do well in space, if I remember correctly.

The only Z characters who can hope to fight Surfer are the Buu's. Anyone else and it's a stomp for the Silver Surfer

setup?WHAT setup, all I see is one sentence besides the Match Creator's details....anyway yeah you have to give a reason for them to fight and the venue of the battle.....Silver Surfer wins. He can travel at speeds exceeding that of light, or he could just transmute Gohan into an inanimate object.
