Their time that they're volunteering for our benefit? They all could just very well say, "*vulgarity* it." and not even bother anymore. Then what? None of your submissions would not be accepted and it would just be as it was before... Anyways, I totally understand why Nova deleted a crap-load of stuff and I can sympathize. I still don't like what Nova did, but I forgive him. We need a better system for this. I think Mercenaryblade has a good idea. Submit one character per member at a time, and until they are approved don't submit another. Maybe you guys have photo editors, and super computers, and can't see why I was as mad as I was last night. It can take me hours to find a picture 200 x 200 pixels. I've repeatedly stuck up for the reviewers here, and started submitting only one character and two images at a time. But simply asking people to slow down with submissions isn't going to help alone. There's always going to be some people that won't bother to read the forums and/or PM's, or just won't give a damn and keep mass submitting anyway. Something additional is going to have to be done eventually. And no, shutting down the submission function won't help either, beacause at some point it will have to reopen and mass submissions will begin again. I have no idea, that would be up to serge and the rest. But I have a feeling only one a day per user wouldn't slow things down nearly enough. I don't get paid to do the research on the characters I submit you know? I do agree with you on the "too much going on" part though. One pic for each character should be enough. Care to guess how many characters are already in the database? We don't need countless new ones popping up all the time. I am an anime expert. I can't do comic heroes cause I don't know enough about them. I understand we need moderation, but that doesn't mean you come against the users. Someone was trying to add Goths to the database. Goths as in the dyed black hair, leather wearing, emo types. I mean, really? Is that going to liven up the place? Honestly, I just want each of you to ask yourself this question before you submit someone. Is this a character I'm going to put in a match at least 20 times or am I going to throw him/her/it into the dustbin of unused characters(which is most of them) I'm not going to say what I did was ok or acceptable, but you know what? You don't know how many submissions were from users who aren't even here anymore. I was mad last night, but after sleeping it off and having Toshiro put in so I could use him in a match in less than a day really took the pain away. You do the best you can, and I respect that. The CBUB has a limit of how many fights you can post, based on your current Rank... Why not the Same Thing for Character Adding? You have to be X Rank to submit Y Characters at a time, X+1 Rank to Submit up to Y+1 characters at a time, X+n Rank to submit up to Y+n characters at a time. That way you Reviewers won't be Deluged with Thousands of Character submissions overnight.Why not submit this to the Admins and see if its a good idea or not? I actually think it is. And I really don't want to see Nova's reviewing powers taken from him. We're all human and one less reviewer would just make it take longer.
