Guest Ghost Tiger
Thanos wins...he is on level with TOAA with HOTU. And curious why you put Black Flash in there. Black Flash is simply death for speedsters. He is not interested in anything except being death for speedsters. Anyone who doesn't use the speedforce is of no consequence to him. Guest Diskyr
We have alot of Marvel fans here. I would like to use fanboys as a term for the Marvel love and DC hatred in this site but people who like Marvel will come and try to *vulgarity* me up eh? Thanos with HOTU is almost on par with TOAA. An unfair fight you gave for the DC team.

Guest GODSPEED-88
Not as much as you all think. First off we have Superman Prime One Million "Superman Prime is one the most powerful being that have ever existed. His power is so vast that it could exceed even powerful multiversal entities like Anti-Monitor. Outside of non-corporal cosmic entities who are not limited to singular form entities and are all powerful for example the Presence, he is one of the strongest being in the DC multiverse. He has acquired countless powers and abilities from his travels and lineage that allow him to do almost anything he wishes, they range from teleportation to the manipulation of magic and reality. He can manipulate time, space, matter, and bend reality on any scale he wishes." Then we have the Original IonWho had a vast amount of reality warping abilities, to the extent that he could create and destroy universes. We also have the SPECTRE who is full backed by the Presence.People say Thanos with the HOTU is equal to the Living Tribunal. nuff said. I don't know alot about Cosmic Armored Superman but I was reading on another thread that he is insanely powerful.http://www.comicvine.com/forums/battles/7/.../399384/?page=2 <<<This link has scans of him defeating Mandraak. There is other threads if any of you want to look into it. Superman One Million, the power of a 5th Dimensional Imp. It can only help the battle for D.C Batman Prime, The Atom, The doctor and Doctor Fate can work on ideas in order to stop him. The rest are there for extras. Marvel Man
How did he lose?He has this weird desire to lose. Seriously. Subconsciously, Thanos allows himself to lose. This basically means that the writers have absolutely no way to make Thanos lose without it looking stupid/PIS.For example, at the end of Marvel: The End, Thanos beats down everybody in Marvel, and then absorbs the entire Marvel Multiverse into himself. So Thanos was the only person left. He was just, y'know, there. Around him was nothing. It was strange, but definetly proved he was at TOAA levels. Anyways, this part of his mind subconsciously re-creates Adam Warlock, who convinces Thanos that he should undo all his destruction. He does, and than willingly gives up the HotU. No ever beat him. No retcon. Just Thanos stomping on everyone's character shields.

If they were going to make HOTU that was just about the only way things could have ended. Why you would put anyone in a fight against anyone with HOTU is beyond me. Of course if the fight took place outside of Marvel reality then he may get no power from HOTU at all .
Guest boston_celtics
Having the HOTU made Thanos one with the 616 Marvel universe (or more, can't remember) So, it is basically all those people vs. the entire Marvel universe.
Guest Ghost Tiger
IMO HOTU would have no effect outside of the Marvel Universe. So Thanos gets stomped if this is on neutral ground.

No, you don't understand. When Thanos absorbed the HoTU, he BECAME the universe. He was not some outside force manipulating it, he WAS it. So, being the MU would most probably apply wherever he is. Guest GODSPEED-88
I was thinking Imagine Kyle Rayner had complete control over every corps (Blue, Green, Indigo, Black, Yellow, Sapphire, Orange) main battery. Think how powerful Parallax was with most of the Green. Now Kyle has absorbed every central battery and has control of every ring from every corps. Including entities like Ion etc Plus The Spectre has complete backing from the Presence. Plus every single Superman ever to exist all formed into 1 entity. Created a Superman Beyond belief. Plus every elemental combined thats every single version of Captain Atom, Firestorm, Red Tornado, Swamp Thing. They all combined into one force. Would that change the odds, adding they characters? Guest GODSPEED-88
How powerful does the Specter become with the full backing of the Presence? As powerful as the Presence wants, was thanos able to defeat TOAA or whatever the Marvel equivalent is called?
Marvel Man
As powerful as the Presence wants, was thanos able to defeat TOAA or whatever the Marvel equivalent is called? He never had to. He was him. When he beats down Eternity, Eternity admits that Thanos is equal to the TOAA.And Superman, no matter how many, gets stomped by the HotU. I'm pretty sure Kyle is as well. Only the Spectre might be a challenge, but even then, he'd go down. Thanos ftw. Unless the actual Presence shows up. Then it'd be a stalemate. No thats my point...he can only become the Universe in the Marvel universe with HOTU, because it only exists in the Marvel Universe. Kinda like the speed force doesn't exist in Marvel. Guest MarvelFan15
He never had to. He was him. Not really...TOAA made the HOTU specifically for Thanos' usage, and TOAA himself was the one who gave Thanos the desire to lose...
Marvel Man
Not really...TOAA made the HOTU specifically for Thanos' usage, and TOAA himself was the one who gave Thanos the desire to lose... You're back! Oh, and Thanos was stated to be the new TOAA (or equal to him) by Eternity. I just checked. Note: I'm talking about the comic version of TOAA. The real TOAA is the writer, so TOAA did indeed do all those things. Still, in the Marvel multiverse, Thanos was the most powerful being.
Guest MarvelFan15
You're back!Yup! Oh, and Thanos was stated to be the new TOAA (or equal to him) by Eternity. I just checked. Weren't people saying the same things about him when he had the Infinity Gauntlet? I think it was Thanos himself who said he was "God" I don't have the comic, so I'm not 100% sure. Also, I once read that the HOTU gets its source of power directly from TOAA...So, I guess that could mean that Thanos was TOAA (although not the real one). Note: I'm talking about the comic version of TOAA. The real TOAA is the writer, so TOAA did indeed do all those things. Still, in the Marvel multiverse, Thanos was the most powerful being. They're pretty much the same thing, as shown when the Fantastic Four went to heaven and beheld...Jack Kirby!!!
