This grants him incredible psychic powers including telepathy, precognition, and telekinesis. He can use his telepathy to read and control multiple minds at once and even read residual thought imprints left on objects touched by people (psychometry), communicate with others by broadcasting his thoughts, create illusions by altering the perceptions of others, fire psionic blasts that can scramble an opponent's thought processes (causing the victim either intense pain, or rendering them unconscious), project his mind into the astral plane and even pull the astral projections of other telepaths into the physical world, and sense dimensional rifts or anomalies. His telekinesis is so powerful he can move massive objects with his mind, fire blasts of psychokinetic energy that can shatter steel, create mental barriers that can stop most attacks, levitate his body, and fly at supersonic speeds. His control over his telekinesis is so acute he can create holograms by mentally manipulating water molecules and dust to refract light, bend security lasers to avoid detection, and even move the atoms of a wall around his form so that he passes through the wall like a ghost. He can even use his telekinesis to bend the Earth's magnetic field and create electromagnetic pulses. His telekinesis extends to at least a molecular level, and he can imbue himself his super human physical attributes by focusing his telekinesis inwards. He also has the ability to teleport vast distances, and visit alternate realities by breaking the barriers between universes. An alternate version of Jean Grey, "Queen Jean" described Nate Grey as the ultimate telekinetic with the statement: "It is what all Nate Greys have been on every earth".[8] Upon examination by Moira Mactaggert, she suggested his psionic powers rivaled that of a Phoenix Force-imbued Jean Grey.[9] In another instance, he was measured as having a psionic energy output matching that of the Dark Phoenix[10] Since his return, Nate has displayed further abilities, which include precognition, the power to view and transverse higher planes of existence, to reconstitute his body from astral energy in a similar manner as Onslaught and to transform his physical body back into astral energy. His powers make it even I thought. He can phase through the ob/oe,block it or control them once fired and If he is teleported away he can teleport back. I actually agree with you, Darkseid's blast would technically phase through him and his precog would allow him to teleport him. Nate by the description of his powers could drag Darkseid into the Astral Plane and beat him up there. Physically Darkseid is better, but Mentally Nate is. He can't be de evolved when he doesn't need a body. and also he can stop time so then the blast wouldn't even reach him OR he can phase through it. the term near omnipotent sums it up and when his powers are described on par with dark Phoenix then yeah darkseid WONT be beating him easily at all. Secondly Im stating the reasons why Darkseid easily beats Nate. Just because you are to naive to see it is not my fault. The omega effect hits Nate and he relives a hundred lives in a second and each is worst than the last before he simply ceases to exist. Turning intangible doesnt help since the energy still hits Nate's presence. Also Nate may be powerful but not enough to effect Darkseid's indominable willpower. He can live between moments like watching a movie with a remote and can pick a time to go to. He also has a reaction time faster than the speed of light. So it goes like this darkseid blast at nate, nate freezes time moves and watch as darkseid blasts again of which this time he travels to when the fight began and then blast HIM. if he can will himself to life why can't he will himself back to existence? think about it. Dark Phoenix is much weaker than the standard Phoenix Force, due to being bound to a physical body. Galactus at 100% would eat the Dark Phoenix for breakfast, and still have room for leftovers. Well who has Nate fought that is on the level of the Monitors, ALL the new gods, or the Source? Darkseid takes punches from Superman with little to no pain. I dont see Nate being able to hurt Darkseid physically at all. Also if Nate is hit with the OE and ceases to exist, he cant will himself back because nothing exists to will him back. Also like sirmethos stated, Darkseid can de-evolve Nate as well. Then Nate has no powers because he could just be de-evolved into a human. Also ftl means nothing considering Darkseid fights Supes on a regular occasion. Darkseid can move through time, dimensions, etc. just the same. What Im trying to get through to you is that Darkseid has the same powers but he is physically stronger and more durable. John Byrne himself had scripted a tale in which the Fantastic four, Avengers and Doctor Strange defeat a slightly weakened Galactus outright If they can do that, I see Darkseid defeating him. Look at the below link, specifically the Matter dispersion and Psionic possession. Again Nate would be powerless or cease to exist.
