Wizard Battle # 2: Harry Potter versus Dr. Stephen Strange

You guessed it, folks, your friend Mr. Outstanding has put up two wizard battles in honor of the next and last Harry Potter film being released this week (in America). It seems Harry is destined to defeat Voldemort, but can he handle a Sorcerer Supreme?

 

That's right, this battle pits Harry Potter, as powerful as he is in the last book and film, against Doctor Strange at his Sorcerer Supreme power level. The battle takes place in the ruins of Hogwarts. If either one of the wizards tries to escape they will instantly explode. Good luck, and may the best wizard win!

This is the truth. Potter couldn't even overpower the villain in his own series, which to Strange is just a fly. Strange throws magic that would rip Hogwarts out of the ground and into the ocean with just his pinky.

Strange would likely have no trouble blocking the most powerful spell Harry could potentially send at him(Avada Kedavra).

Doctor Strange's racist stereotype butler, Wong, could take out nearly any character from Harry Potter by himself, without using magic.

Doctor Strange's student/ex-wife Clea could solo the entire Potterverse, (Wizards, House Elves, magical creatures, Death Eaters, the whole bit.)

 

Strange himself doesn't even need to leave the sanctum to win this match.

Stephen at his Supreme level could screw with reality and more. His power level is something nobody in Harry Potter can even reach nor is there anybody close.

While that qualifies as magic, this is a wizardly battle to the death, and, although providing a source of potential trauma years later, such tactics could not directly cause the death of another.

 

Besides that, nudity has no place in a noble battle betwixt wizards. The horse gets ten lashes for even thinking of entering this match.

If I know Strange (and I don't know him at all), he wouldn't let anything like that distract him. He would get the job done in his birthday suit if necessary. After picking Harry's brains from his teeth, he would then obliterate the horse for its impudence. Then he would clothe himself and walk away to do wizard stuff. Grown up wizard stuff. Just my humble O.

I'm trying to think if there is any Magical force outside comics who can stand up to Strange without going full-on gods, (though to be fair Strange routinely tangles with gods.) Let's see... Fizban is really Paladine, Morgoth is a god too... Uhhh... depending on what artifacts Strange is equipped with, Sauron. Who else? Oberon from Gargoyles, possibly? A big maaaaybe to Gandalf as the White Rider, the very best versions of Merlin, and Raistlin at his absolute peak.
