Ok, now that everyone has all there characters picked out, its time to start the tournament/duel. Even though I'm calling it a duel, it will still have a tournemant style. This is the thread where we actually have the battles and vote on them. So, without further adu, here are the rules!

 

1) This is double elimination style. So even if you lose your first match, your not out just yet.

2) I will be in charge of setting the matches up. nce its time for your match, you and your opponent will debate for awhile about why yor team is superior, then everyone else will vote on who they think should win. In order to hide the outcome of each battle, voting will be done through PM. PM me who you think will win, and once everyone has voted, I will tally up the results.

3) You CANNOT vote on your own match

4) Some of you seem to think that this is "Street VS Street then enhanced VS enhanced then meta VS meta" and so on, but thats wrong. This will actually be a big giant rumble, for example. If I'm fighting Killswitch7's team, some of you think it would go like this:

 

Green Lantern VS Black Bolt

Wonder Woman VS Iron man

Spider man VS Gambit

Wolverine VS Deadpool

and finally, Batman VS Captain America

 

But it will actually be each character on each team all fighting at the same time. So keep that in mind.

 

Heres just an example of what the debating part of the game will be like.

 

SSGoku: My team would win because Wolverine has already beaten Deadpool in the past so he's a non-factor.

Killswitch7: Well in the Avengers/JLA crossover, Batman said Captain America could beat him so Cap would win against Batman.

SSGoku: Yeah, but Batman said it would, quote, "Take a very long time" Wolverine on the other hand can beat Deadpool in just a few minutes, then go over and help Cap out.

Killswitch7: It'll take much longer then a few minutes for Wolverine to beat Deadpool. Deadpool has better healing, has a better arsenal, and is more skilled. In fact, Wolverine beating Wolverine in the comics in the first place was complete PIS.

SSGoku: No, it wasn't PIS. Wolverine is in fact the better fighter, plus he had adamantium, which is why he won.

Killswitch7: Well theres nothing Green Lantern can do to Black Bolt. Whats he gonna do? Trap him in a bubble? Black Bolt brakes out of that easy. He can literally take down GL with a whisper.

 

And so on. Your posts cannot be to long however, it can be no longer then two lines. You can all vote whenever you want, and once EVERYONE has voted, I'll stop the fight and say who won. Then we move onto the next match. So, without further ado, the first match is:

Once an entire team is incacipitated, they lose. Whether it be by death or KO doesn't matter. But, only characters that actually kill will be willing to do that. For example, Batman won't kill anyone, but Wolverine will.

 

Also, I forgot to mention this before, but it's perfectly possible to create friction between a team. For example, if Wolverine and Sabertooth are on the same team, they will inevitably get in a fight. However, each character is still strongly dedicated to winning.

My team wins. No one on his team can equal Beta in strength, speed, or skill. Bill will not get tagged by any of the other teams attacks, except for maybe the scream, that will do almost no damage, and bolt won't survive that long. Beta solos.

Dude, Bolt's tiniest whisper can break every bone in Hulk's body. His highest scream can destroy planets.

 

Beta is pretty much Thor's powers and abilities, I say it's a good fight but I think Bolt could win.

Black bolts most powerful scream is as powerful as a nuclear explosion. Beta could also rush bolt at the speed of light and take him down before he could scream. After that, he can make short work of the rest of your team.

I don't mean to interrupt, but at one point, Black Bolt made a tiny whisper, and it took out a large chunk of the moon.

If you are reffering to when WWH attacked him, his whisper didn't do that. When WWH survived the initial whisper, Bolt screamed, resulting in(and size was not specified) chunks of lunar rock breaking off into orbit.

I was actually referencing something else, but nevermind, I shouldn't of mentioned it. Your fighting Killswitch7, not me, so he can make his own arguments.

The scream worked on the moon...unless there was some wall of air I didn't know about, I don't see how that would stop it.

Don't know about Beta, but the energy from BB's voice isn't made of sound, but of energy harnessed from electrons. So he can, and has, effectively used his vocal attacks in space.

Another thing is, Beta could defeat Black Bolt, mostly just due to his speed. A-Bomb would be fighting a fairly even battle with Iron Man, who would have trouble piercing his armor, and then Beta would come to help. Or, in this case, slaughter. On a lower level, Deathstroke, Snake eyes, and Deadshot would have much trouble against his lower level, due to Deadshot being a weak link. However, Snake eyes ore Deathstroke could take deadpool rather quickly, resulting in them outnumbering Gambit, plus Beat and A-Bomb coming to help.

Here's how it probably goes down, told in a non-bias point of view:

 

PART ONE

 

Black Bolt vs Beta Ray Bill

This fight pretty much decides the match.

It could really go either way, but i'll pretend they cancel each other out for now.

 

Result: Both are killed

 

Iron Man vs A-Bomb

This is another good fight. Although Iron Man is pretty tough, im gonna actually say A-Bomb wins this one. There's just nothing Iron Man could do to really kill this guy, and A-Bomb is Hulk-Level in ability.

 

Result: A-Bomb kills Iron Man

 

Deadpool vs Deathstroke

Great fight.

Although Deathstroke is awesome, he just couldn't kill Deadpool. Deadpool eventually overpowers Deathstroke and wins.

I did a CBUB match on this and Deadpool won by votes.

 

Result: Deadpool kills Deathstroke

 

Wolverine vs Gambit

Man these are good fights!

Although Gambit can significantly hurt Wolverine, he can't kill him unless he literally blows him up, and I doubt my favorite X-Man would do that.

 

Result: Wolverine kills Gambit

 

Capt. America vs Snake Eyes

Soldier vs Ninja.

Unpredictable.

Although Snake is insanely cool, you just can't beat the super-soldier in hand-to-hand.

 

Result: Capt America kills Snake Eyes

 

PART TWO

 

Ok, while A-Bomb still fights Iron Man, Wolverine and Deadpool beat their opponents and fight. They take each other out.

A-Bomb finishes off Iron Man, and he's seriously weak.

Which leaves Capt to fight A-Bomb.

You guys can guess the ending...

 

PART THREE

 

So, even though it appears a good match, my opponents team wins in most scenerios.

The fighters don't have to kill in order to win. A simple K.O. is enough.
