Guest LegendX
The only things that matters in choosing a system is which system has the games you want and whether or not you care about the extra features. That's it. The graphics are comparable enough that you won't notice when you're sitting there trying to make it through the level you've been working on all day. Speed is comparable as well. If one loads a game in 3.8 seconds and the other loads the same game in 3.5, who really cares? Which system has more games doesn't matter unless you plan on buying the entire library. If you have that kind of cash to blow you should just get both. Listing a bunch of games for each system is silly if you haven't bothered to asked what games the gamer wants. You can tell me the System A has this, that and the other, but, if I'm not interested in those games you really haven't made valid point. Just because you think those games are awesome doesn't mean I will. Personally, I prefer the PS3 because when I bought it I wanted the browser (since I didn't have a computer) and because I really like GTA. When my best friend asked what he should get I told him to get the XBox because I know all he's going to play is Madden, why spend the extra money to play one game both systems have. What you guys are doing isn't helping someone make an informed decision, it just giving your personal favorite system some free advertising. Marvel Man
Both systems have good and bad qualities. Stating that one system is better than the other is pretty useless, and choosing which to buy should really be an individual choice. What actually matters is that you don't buy the Wii. Some fans may hold up the Mario games in defense, but they don't have much to stand on. Without those games you're left with a $250 paper weight. This makes it even more useless because no one uses paper weights. It is a much better weapon than an actual gaming device. The online multiplayer is just above "Skyping while playing on the Wii". The online browser has no use other than frustrating the user. It can't play blue ray disks mostly because it can't even read regular DVDs or CDs. Etc. *Marvel Man will continue to rant for the next couple of days*

DamagingRob
Enchanted Arms is for PS3 too, Rob. Just wanted to point out some. I almost didn't see that edit. And yes, the difference in systems isn't that significant. I don't think either is better than the other. It's which one has the games you want to play. Myself and Evan have listed numerous ones for the Xbox. There's no hyphen people without one. Anyways, others have listed many for the PS3. So, depending on what you're into, deciding which one's the better choice should be fairly obvious.

Helen C
I own a PS3 because I use it as a Blu Ray player. Gaming wise, it and the X-Box are equal, as far as I can see. If you don't have an HD-TV or just plain aren't interested in Blu Ray, it depends on what games you want.

Guest life snatcher
Assuming price isn't a factor, the PS3 offers a web browser, free online gaming, Move and a blu-ray player while the XBox offers better online gaming(or so I'm told), Kinect and... some other stuff, I guess. If those things don't matter to you, then you should base your decision on which system offers the most games that you have interest in or which has a few games you really want. So, if the PS3 has more games that you have interest in you should probably go with that. However, if you simply MUST have Halo, then you should go with the XBox. Pretty much everything else, from memory to graphics, is close enough in comparison that the average gamer wouldn't really notice the difference.MUST HAVE HALO? please. I just need to get it because my cuz have it
Guest life snatcher
Not quite. You conveniently missed Mass Effect 1 & 2, The Elder scrolls Oblivion, Fable 2 & 3 Dead Rising 1 & 2, Civ: Revolution, Left 4 Dead, Battlefield: Bad Company, Batman: Arkham Asylum, DA: Origins, Assassin's Creed etc. There aren't all exclusives but all are good Xbox games.ps3 mostly has all those games you just named
