Mario has tanked black holes in super mario galaxy. And not to mention he regularly smashes through multiple LAYERS of bricks and other tough material at once with only his barehands, which no normal person can do without hurting the crap out of himself. And he survived atmospheric re-entry on at least one occasion. So on the contrary, you guys are severely underrating his abilities/powers based on only your knowledge of the OLD mario games and not the new ones. This is the common misconception that most people make when debating against mario. and no just because peter parodies the hulk doesn't exactly mean he has all the same abilities as the Hulk.Phalanx I like you but we are not underrating his abilities/powers YOU'RE overrating them. Peter Hulk is just like the live action TV show Hulk. Super Mario Bros and Mario galaxy have nothing in common. The only thing in common with them is that you have to fight Bowser hell that's basically all the games are save the princess and fight a big animal. This is Hulk Peter, not the REAL Hulk from Marvel comics. Dont' confuse the two. Really though... trying to explain to you all about Mario's feats/capabilities is frustrating and tiring. I'm going to dinner now.trying to explain to you that you combine various non canon Mario feats and try to pass it off as if he is capable of surviving a black hole (even though the next game a touch from a Goomba kills him) no matter what. THEY ARE ALL THE SAME CANON! OMG... Yes there may be different versions, but THEY ARE THE SAME CANON as authoritized by Shigeru Miyamoto and all the other mario directors! *sigh* That's it. I'm tired of arguing of this. Trying to to reason and explain to you guys why mario is far powerful than you guys make out to be is like trying to reason with a brick wall. I'm out of here. That's like saying that Game Sonic and Sonic X Sonic are the same. When yet Sonic X Sonic gets a ring he becomes powerful as Sonic with the stars around him. That's like saying Pac-man and Pac-man World Pac-man are the same. When yet again Pac-Man world gives a lot of powers. One more fine thats like saying Game Jin and Movie Jin are the same yet Game Jin can and will turn into Devil Jin when Movie Jin hasn't shown any signs of becoming Devil Jin.
