Superman Family vs Z-Fighters

You're actually wrong about the Z-Fighters not surviving in space part. Krillin, Tien and Yamcha can't, but the Saiyans can (Bardock clearly demonstrates that Saiyans can breath in space). So can Piccolo and 18.

Filler. And I've never seen Piccolo in space, but I guess 18 can.

That and when Vegeta blew up Arlia. 18 definitely can being an android, but I don't think Piccolo can??

It was actually not filler. It was its own movie by toriyama to show what happened to the planet and goku's family.

The movie was made by Funimation, Toriyama had nothing to do with it.

Come to think of it, I think I saw someone on some other forum claim that there was some kind of air bubble around Planet Vegeta's outer atmosphere or something. It doesn't hold much water, but it's worth mentioning.

Again: Bardock was not filler, and even if it was, what would it matter?

Filler is the equivalent of JLA TAS and Superman TAS, so if you guys count filler, I count those.

Every movie and episode (except maybe gt) was watched over by toriyama. He made the story for bardock.

What? The Bruce Timm animated series are their own universe. Tell me you were joking.

Where is the rule book that says filler can't count? If it is in the anime, then it is canon to the anime.

THe movie was made by TOEI Animation, not Funimation, not Ocean Group, and considering the fact that they did reference it during Namek, AND when Vegeta was training to become Super Sayain, AND the Hyperbolic Time Chamber would lead me to believe that they could handle the strains of space.

Yeah, I've seen this argument made by you and a dozen other DBZ fanboys before, and yet, I have yet to see written word from Akira Toriyama that filler does not count! Funny how that works, huh? Seems to me that the whole "filler doesn't count" argument was invented by some disgruntled anime fan. Also, it's been clearly established that the DC Animated Universe is an alternate universe to the main one, designated 'Earth-12', so you're wrong on that front too.

Oh, and considering that Bardock was not filler, not a movie, but a TV Special, that Akira Toriyama wrote the original concept, that Toriyama wrote a scene from the special into the actual manga, and that Toriyama wrote a frickin' follow-up to it... Yeah, I'd say it counts, and it would even if it was filler.

why are you calling people fanboys? take a chill pill. I have seen many predator and DC fanboys as well. Word to the normal people. We don't care whats filler or not. It's on the anime, I use it lossely since the filler doesn't disprove what they are or can do.

I seen Superman wear a space suit in the comics and cartoons and then I seen him not needing one. WHO CARES

Only Frieza can live in space, but Hulk can't and he can survive it for a while, so why not someone who can do qi shields? or since DBZ top people are actually more powerful than you make them out to be.

Hating DBZ( not to you directly) does not make it crap, if people say that DC has better writers, they don't know shit about writing. NO COMIC BOOK HAS GOOD WRITING,Entertaining is one thing, but of any real substance? no!!

... I liked DBZ. Despite all its plot holes and mistakes, it was fun. :/ I do, however, think that both Marvel and DC are far better-written.

I'm not calling anyone on this site a fanboy. I'm mainly referring to an experience on another site where a bunch of DBZ fanboys were saying SS2 Goku could defeat Galactus, and were even arguing that Goku was more durable. Then someone brought up the fact that Goku was hurt by a thrown rock, then the fanboys started aguing that, because that was filler, it didn't count.
