Worlds finest Adventurers. part 1:Egos

This arc was originially supposed to skip this over, but I decided to write a prologue.Now then lets get cracking

 

 

Somewhere in the amazon, January 6th 1938

 

Dr. Henry Jones jr. AKA Indiana Jones and his site crew had arrived at a large temple. According to legend It was to hold a secret to time travel. Indy wasnt impressed, by that but rather the untold riches from various civilizations that have been supposedly stacked in there over the years. Unfortunately getting inside proved a serious problem, there were old tales of the dangers and tests that proved true, that day he could make no progress. He feared as much luckily as a precaution he had a backup, plan in case his current group was inadequate for the trip:He had mailed several letters to the best archeologists and adventurers around the world before he had left.

 

A few days later the closest two had made there way in. Clark Savage jr and Rick O Connel.

"Doc" was actually in the same area on a trip of his own, but left his friends to take care of his task, while Rick was intercepted en route to Egypt, deciding to leave his wife and kid to check out the discovered temple.The first to arrive was Mr. Savage, and what a suprise to see his nickname of "the Man of Bronze" very accurate in his appearance.Then several days later, Rick O Connel was next to appear, both men looked at each other at noticed the others similar clothing.

 

A few hours later, at night all 3 men gathered round the entrance of the temple where Indy got everyone up to speed round a campfire.

 

Rick:So, why exactly have u waited almost a full week, to get a group to go in.

 

Indy:Well I mentioned the temple was booby trapped, but not the extent of their danger.

 

Rick: For example?

 

Indy:Well a few of my men decided to get greedy, and ventured further in the first antichamber we encountered.....they were promptly turned to dust before our eyes.

 

Doc:That must have been very disturbing.

 

Indy:It was but not the first time ive seen something like that...

 

Rick:.........So thats an issue I get that, dragging us out here to possibly get killed, but you said there was another reason we were needed.

 

Indy:Yes, you see a colleague of mine is also after this very same temple. Only he goes about things a bit more brutally.

 

Rick: Whaddya mean?

 

Doc:Meaning we are not alone....

 

(All hear some noise rustling in the forest.)

 

Rick:(picks up shotgun)Ok so your rival hired a couple bandits...nothing we cant handle.

 

(As the rustling gets louder voices in german can be heard.Along with faint vehicle noises.)

 

Indy:Not exactly bandits.....

 

(As a few nazis come into view Rick blasts them with his shotgun)

 

Rick:Nazis! Youve got us up against nazis!

 

Doc:Dont worry Mr. O Connel, Ive read on you, youve taken far worse. It is as you said...(lifts machine pistol)Nothing we cant handle.(A *uncreative* tries to grab his throat, but he judo flips him with ease)

 

Indy:(Grabs whip, and takes a downed germans mp 40) Dont let the into the temple!

 

 

Summary:

 

Ok this is not a straight fight between these men, this is a contest to see who can defeat the most nazis.Though they can certainly work together(whoever has finishing blow gets kill)

 

The area is heavily wooded, forest large for brawling, the nazis are standard indiana jones nazis which means our heroes are in no real danger.

Doc Savage:

 

Strength:Peak human

Fighting style:Various Matial arts

Weapons:Machine pistol(fires .45, 30 round clip, 3 clips),Colt SAA(fires .45 long colt, 6 rounds, 7 clips worth).

 

 

 

Indiana Jones:

Strength:Normal human.

Fighting style:Brawl.

Weapons:Bullwhip,webley revolver(fires .455, 6 rounds, 6 clips), MP 40(fires 9mm, 32 round clip, 2 clips)

 

 

 

Rick O Connel

 

Strength:above average-Normal Human

Fighting style:Brawl,krav magha type style

Weapons:butterfly knife, twin colt .45s(fires...yeah, 7 round clip each, 3 clips each), shotgun(fires 12 gauge buckshot shell, 5 round clip, 3 clips)

How have I missed this?

 

I gave my vote to the Doc when this fight was on the battles page, and that has not changed. When the bullets eventually run out, his superior martial arts expertise is the key to victory over Indy's whip and O'Connels knife.
