Guest xman4life
Who do you think wins before this turns into a comic in the next months? X-MenCyclopsWolverineNamorPixieColossus/juggsmagnetoStorm Rogue. AvengersCaptain AmericaIronmanSquirrel girlThe ThingThorMs.MarvelBlack WidowSpiderman Keeping characters true to their personalities who do you think wins. *side note this is going to be an awesome comic if done right, this was a long time coming especially when Cyclops first pout together his team and made the comment "Were the worlds greatest heroes, It's time to show it". Not to mention if it wasn't for that add to the fact that Cyclops predicted it after second coming saying if they come for me for what we did in X-Force I would go with a smile on my face. Wolverine said that the Avengers wouldn't like that..

Guest xman4life
What do you mean Colossus/Juggs? Are they one person now or something?Yes colossus IS the new Juggernaunt. It's funny because he is already strong but now he's bald and he has to fight back his urges to destroy stuff while Magik(of all people) tires to keep him in check. He can cut on his Jugg powers at anytime.
Guest sirmethos
The outcome of the fight pretty much depends on how fast Magneto is taken down. Magneto is the only one on the X-men team that can take down Iron Man and Thor. Unfortunately for the mutants, the odds are considerably in favor of the Avengers. Guest force_echo
What the *vulgarity*? Why? That makes no sense, nothing in Colossus' personality would make him take up the Gem of Cytorrak. Besides, good guys can't access the power of the gem.

Besides, good guys can't access the power of the gem.Let me tell you since i have to whole series. Ok well juggs was one of the worthy chosen by the serpent and given a huge power boost to the point where Nothing the X-men or thunderbolts could do would hurt him. So they thought of another plan. They thought well if juggs is under the influence of TWO powerful beings(Cytorrak and the serpent) they should get rid of one influence and since they didn't know how to get to the serpent they knew that Magik(colossus sister)could teleport them to Cytorrak realm. So Cyclops sent Kitty Pryde, Colossus and Magik to speak with Cytorrak. When they get there Magik tells him that Juggs is under the influence of another being(the serpent). So Cytorrak says well I'm taking away his power and giving it to you(magik) Magik was about to take it until Colossus tells her she has been through enough and goes for it. Kitty Pryde begs him not to and he tells her that he must protect the ones he loves and she was mad at him for that so..........He becomes the new juggernaunt. But unlike the past one he can turn his powers on when he wants to but he still fights the urges to become juggernaunt.
Guest force_echo
But when Juggs joined the X-Men his power levels decreased dramatically, because Cytorrak doesn't lend his powers to good guys. So there's no way Colossus can be that powerful even with the gem.

Now Cytorrak kinda told Magik to do it. But Colossus said he would. Cytorrak just wants destruction. So Colossus only uses his powers when he is tearing shit up. Which pleases Cytorrak. He can't just walk around in juggs mode because the influence is too strong.
Guest Soberguy
OMG ITS ALMOST AS THOUGH SOMETHING IN COMICS DIDNT MAKE SENSE AND THEY JUST SHOE-HORNED SOME LAZY WRITING IN TO GIVE A POWER-UP TO A POPULAR CHARACTER!!!!
Guest xman4life
I actually like it. Because it adds to the drama on Cyclops team because it almost seems as he got the better and more powerful team but when you look at them 1)Storm wanted to go with Logan to teach but she stand because Cyclops begged her1)Magik has like no emotions at all seeing as she doesn't have a soul3)You have jubilee struggling with her on humanity4)Psylocke who is secretly on X-Force(with wolverine)5)Emma who stayed because Cyclops begged her too6)Cyclops daughter left and went with Wolverine7)Beast still hates Cyclops because he made X-Force not knowing Wolverine STILL has X-Force going8)Colossus who struggles with urges to kill9)Namor who doesn't listen to ANYONE10)And Magneto who goes in and out of being a hero and still has tendencies to use extreme force to protect mutants

Guest Dr. Pymp(mex)
Juggernaut is Colossus? How stupid is that. I don't even have to read it to know that is the dumbest mistake ever. Lol if anyone should have been Juggernaut, if should have been someone who is weak and needs powers not a brick. Now his metal form is useless lol
Indolent
Maybe if you read the story in where Colossus became the Juggernaut, you'd understand why... Magik, his sister, was going to become the new Juggernaut after it was revealed Cain served a different God. Cyttorak was going to make her one but Peter intervened and became the Juggernaut because he didn't want his sister to become the Juggernaut. Context, man. >.>

I thought Colossus sister was Iliana? And died? I have the book uncanny xmen 304 where they are at her funeral. Never mentions he has another sister?2. Cain Marko is a blasphemer 3. I just downloaded the comic and it was ok, still kinda dumb, but better than I first thought
Indolent
*Facepalm* A little research would do you a whole lot good. http://marvel.wikia.com/Illyana_Rasputina_%28Earth-616%29 Magik is his sister. And Cain was taken under control by The Serpent when he was deemed one of the Worthy, when he received one of 7 Hammers from The Serpent. He became under his control. It was here and then that Colossus and Magik figured they could use logic on Cyttorak by pointing out that Cain technically served another god and thus lost his powers. Guest bigballerju
I am going to be very interested in seeing the X-Men vs Avengers comic when it comes because I want to see what members from both sides take part in the battle. I also want to see how the Avengers go up against a Cyclops who is willing to do whatever it takes to protect his people and more. The last time these teams really faced off was the 1990s and sometime in the 2000s. Now for this battle Colossus/Juggernaut and Magneto are more then capable of taking down Ironman. If we are talking regular Thor then Rogue can drain him as she takes his power and makes him weak which she has down in the past long ago. While thats happening Namor can battle Thor with Rogue and those two teamed up can take down Thor. Storm can battle Ms.Marvel and put her down. Thats just one way the X-Men could go about taking down the powerhouses. Actually Captain America said he was fine with what Cyclops did with X-Force back in Heroic Age: X-Men. I believe in the comic there fighting over something else. Here is the link if anybody wants infor or wants to check on anything: http://marvel.com/comic_books/events/310/avengers_vs_x-men Oh by the way I am on team X-Men no matter what there fighting over. Cyclops won me over years ago and is a complete badass. That definitely goes after his awesome fight with Wolverine in Schism.

Magneto is capable of taking down Iron Man, yes, but Colossus/Juggernaut isn't. Not with Iron Man's Uru/Bleeding Edge Armor, that particular armor is ridiculous. And no, Rogue can not drain Thor, when she tried to drain Ares, she passed out due to the power overload, and Thor is considerably more powerful than Ares. As I already said, the only one that can take down Iron Man and Thor, is Magneto. And that's only if he doesn't get taken out first.

Rogue in the past could drain even Thor with one touch and put him down easily. However in recent years I am not sure if her power is on par with how it was in the 1990s. Colossus with Juggernaut's power and Magneto would be too much for regular Thor. Juggernaut when Cain was in control was very hard for the Avengers to beat all together as it was when they faced off in the past.
Guest Spytheman
I just had a thought. Using his metal manipulation, is Magneto capable of taking position of Thor's hammer? By that, I mean can he BOTH defeat Thor's own control over it, as well as actually lift it?
