Guest LoneWolf
This is a comics debate site. People talk about stuff like Cyclops' optic blasts PSI and how much tons can Colossus lift etc... I think frequenting it day and night, without any input other than trolling, is a tad worse there.

Guest square pickle
Hahahahaha. It's funny because your the guy who wants to know the force put upon Spider-Man's shoulder through web swinging. Not to say that you are retarded for asking that. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'd rather be retarded on a website than drown in an ocean of unbelievable nerdiness. EDIT: Another thing. While you say I'm the retard, I'd like to review this thread and see who really was the dumber one. Let's compare, shall we? Sirmethos starts things off by being trolled (a good job trolling too!) by force_echo. I wish I could troll like that, but I fear my reputation precedes me so no one takes me seriously anymore. I'm okay with that. I come in, being silly, responding to the usage of the Silver Surfer name, despite me knowing they aren't actually talking about me. Gosh, I'm just so retarded! Sirmethos takes the baton from me to be further trolled by me. Honestly, I don't know why he would even reply to my poast! For those of you who don't know, poast is now the word to refer to a troll post. So really now, who's the retard?I still respect you SS. I never though Id see the day that you where actually hated on within EF. Kind new to me.

You've spent at least two and a half years, on a website that has the purpose of discussing which comics characters can beat each other, and you're still using "nerd" as an insult? Pot meet Kettle. Let me guess, you would prefer your "real life" friends don't know about you frequenting sites like this, if not about your interest in comics entirely. At least I stand by my interests, and is proud of who I am, interests included. It's called growing up, you should try it. 2. So far the only one being a troll in this thread, is you. As for being retarded, while you have, in the past, shown to be a fairly intelligent guy, your posts over the last few weeks(if not more) show a lack of brain activity. If you don't like being called on how you act, then don't act that way. It's really not that difficult. That said, thanks for the laugh. With the week I've had, I needed it. Guest silversurfer092
A good job at trolling? All force did was say "Hardly" and the opposite of what sirmethos said....That wasn't trolling at all, that was force being himself...... Clearly you didn't like being called a retard. Your defense is "I was being silly not retarded", well I have seen members post something "silly" and you call them retarded. Talk about a double standard. Treat others how you wished to be treated. Oh no, my dumb "Nothing Batman can't handle" is definitely retarded. Me saying "You called?" to someone talking about SS is silly. I don't care if people call me retarded, I am retarded on this site. To force trolling, I refuse to believe that he is dumb enough to really think Surfer can beat Darkseid. Do you notice how he never gave a reason as to how SS can beat Darkseid other than some really shallow "Yes he can" story? That's trolling. Playing devil's advocate just to get a response that you already know is right is trolling. 1. You've spent at least two and a half years, on a website that has the purpose of discussing which comics characters can beat each other, and you're still using "nerd" as an insult? Pot meet Kettle. I've spent 6 years here, just to be clear. I think it's safe to say the time where I actually talked about comics is far in the past. There's a difference between being a nerd, which I am, and debating mathematical equations over comic feats. My real life friends do know I'm a comic fan. I wouldn't say I'm a comic nerd as I'm clearly outshined on this site (which is why I don't really debate). I do stand very much so by my interests. I love Batman, running, and Jack White, whereas my friends only like running out of the 3. Do not presume to know me and how I act in real life. 2. I think I've already explained how force_echo trolled you. As for not using my brain on this site, it's because I'm mentally exhausted from writing 7 to 8 page papers every single day on Irish/European history. So excuse me if I wish to act like a retard in one facet of my life. I'm not sure why people are saying I'm offended by being called a retard. I don't know if Hayes or sirmethos read my post, but I actually said I'd RATHER be called a retard than the ubernerd sirmethos is.

Guest Dr. Pymp(mex)
This is petty, stop being babies. Haws, force and I are constantly in typing battles and we don't care. I think we are all nerds, but some are more than others. There is level 1 nerd- likes sci fi and fantasy as most people in the general publicExample, knows of superman and spiderman, watches the movies but has no clue if asked about their loreAlso someone who is a fan for it being cool Level 2 nerd- knows more in depth about what they like, knows the background stories, details about there origins and universe on a basic levelExample, me. Read comics but don't give a shit who drew them, don't go pick up every issue of their comics etc but grew up with it, and has no clue about any comics after 2003 lol Level 3 nerd- someone who knows about the creators and those who try to explain logics, reasons why something happened, argues about Bullshit and calls people lame, or idiot for thinking one fictional character could never beat another comic character In other words we are all level 3 and some are level 2 like me who only replies to people's comments to do it. Let's get along.

I have play tested 5 different table top RPGs, created 3 others completely from scratch including making my own dice system. I Have Gigs uppon Gigs of things I have created for games, fixing games, or creating battle strategy for games/comics. However I own only about 200 comics, none of which more recent than Joss Whedon's run on Astonishing, I have never seen Star Wars, Dr. Who, and I do not tend to read fantasy books. Or who participates in Live Action roleplaying. Level 5 is involved in some sort of quasi official fan site or tribute page. Maybe has a site dedicated to a certain character. Level 6 works in comics or as part of a studio that creates sci-fi, fantasy or role playing games. Exampe a writer for Star Trek episodes. Level 7: Stan Lee. Maxed out infinite level nerd. A level zero nerd is like this: "Huh huh reading is gay...give me your lunch money!"

AVP vs The Terminator
Yes, he would.I disagree. Midnighter can predict all the moves he wants, if he isnt strong or fast enough to block or dodge them, it doesnt matter. Although Midnighter is faster than Wolverine, he cant break Wolverines bones, or damage him that badly at all, so blocking him simply wouldnt be that effective. He could knock Wolverine out and then drown him, but Wolvy is an incredibly skilled combatant, and that, plus his mutant abilities, makes knocking him out pretty damn difficult. And although Midnighter will undoubtedly land more hits on Wolvy, overall, mainly due to his Adamantium claws and healing factor, Wolvy can cause a lot more damage to Midnighter than the latter can to the former. Then theres what xman4life suggested, which is Wolvy going berserker, and therefor being unpredictable, however i think Midnighter could still predict his moves, they would just be harder to keep up with. What do you mean "he isn't strong enough to do damage"? He rips people apart with his bare hands, and extremely skilled humans (Taskmaster, Punisher etc) have taken Wolverine down in hand-to-hand. A single nerve strike-- hell. even a full force blow to the face-- will knock Wolverine unconscious, allowing Midnighter to strangle him (something Wolvie can't regenerate from). Oh, and considering Midnighter's speed, which lets him keep up with Apollo (a Superman level character) in short bursts, Wolverine won't be landing a single hit. Uh, the berserker thing wouldn't work. Berserker mode made Wolverine immune to Mister X's telepathy, simply because his mind was so clouded with rage, Mister X couldn't distinguish rational thought from the irrational. But Midnighter's battle computer isn't telepathy. It predicts scenarios by analyzing subtle body movements, no matter how berserk they are. Midnighter can and will go over the scenario a million different times in his head. That fight is essentially an unstoppable force, Midnighter, meeting an immovable object, Wolverine. They are both capable of taking down the other, it would just be very bloody difficult for both of them.Wolverine isn't the immovable object so many people make him out to be. Having a healing factor doesn't make him invincible. A better fight for Midnighter would be an entire team of Marvel regenerators.

I go to comic conventions only if I have enough money for me and some friends to go(they won't pay for it and I won't go alone.lol), I Would never dress up, but at the same time Once I pick up a number one issue I will follow it and have currently 12 titles on my pull list at the comic store, and go to the comic store every two days. If I have 100 Dollars50=Take a girl out/Party money20=Clothes20=Food5=Weed5=Comics. But i no girl is free then most of the money goes to clothes. but no matter what, food, weed and comics must go together.lol

Guest LoneWolf
Midnighter is overrated. Grifter, a *non-enhanced human*, went toe to toe with him and came out fine. Also I'd put myself at a level 4 nerd due to my many years of roleplaying, Dungeons and Dragons, Star Trek and Star Wars (old ones only) fan, MTG, all fantasy and sci-fi etc.. Plus I have attended a few medieval faires so that earns some points I think.

Guest force_echo
Silver Surfer has not done anything, on his own power, that surpasses Darkseid's level of power. In fact, there is pretty much nothing the Silver Surfer can do with his own powers, that Darkseid can't do as well. In terms of raw power, Darkseid is considerably more powerful. On top of that, Darkseid has his motherbox that protects him against direct manipulation, and several hundred thousand years of experience. Hell, Darkseid has, in the past, destroyed beings more powerful than the Silver Surfer, with a single blast of his Omega Beams. In comparison, Silver Surfer is a pacifist that tends to go into battle, initially underestimating his opponents. And if you want to compare feats(as people on cbub tend to do), Silver Surfer's feats are generally far outclassed by those performed by Darkseid. Granted, Silver Surfer could win if he has access to external power sources, like The Crunch, but then we give Darkseid access to external power sources as well, and we're back to Silver Surfer getting his arse handed to him.Silver surfer is superior to Darkseid in all physical areas. Also, he can counter the Omega beams easily, he's too fast to be caught. Darkseid's other powers can be countered or overpowerd by SS also, Furthermore, all SS has to do is use cosmic awareness to analyze Darkseid and then create however Radion he wants. Game over.
