Nesh
What would be the point of having Goku at full power against Batman? He'd literally beat Batman in a second. Don't ask me but that's how it plays out do to the peremiters of the OP as ki isn't a power.
Guest bigballerju
KI is bascally a power in DBZ. When Goku and DBZ fighters say they sense a power near by or whereever what do you think there refering too? When Goku says he needs to train to be more powerful what do you think he is refering to? When they talk about power levels they are refering to KI and this has been clear since Dragonball.

No one would argue for Bat, even with prep Goku doesn't have an exploitable weakness like Supes.
Indolent
How the hell did Bruce manage that? It takes years to master one style and Bruce is no older than Goku. Peak Human my ass. Tecnically Goku didn't actively manipulate i until he learned the Kamehameha and for a good while that was all he could do with it. So Goku hasn't always been reliant on ki manipulation....its a comic. He managed to do it. Is it so hard to comphrehend? And Ki apparently comes natural to saiyans, so he was inherently reliant on it, whether or not he was aware of it.

Nesh
So it's a natural born power in other words...Just like all kryptonians get super powers in the presence of a yellow sun....It's not a poweer. A power implies that it's someting special that some group can't lear. Batman could learn to manipulate ki, so could Superman, Martian manhunter etc. Anyone could learn. For the purpose of this match, Goku has been reduced to human levels, specifically to make the match about Skill and to avoid the match being determined by Power. Guest Dr. Pymp(mex)
So it's a natural born power in other words...Just like all kryptonians get super powers in the presence of a yellow sun.... If thats the case it's natural for the Saiyans to be fighters, therefore naturally skilled? Ki is used to enhance their abilities yes, but thats not to say that Batman is more skilled solely because of that. We never see batman do a lot of things and we take them as part of his history, yet we can say Goku has less skills because he uses ki to fighter world breakers? by the way Batman does use the gym to lift weights, runs, etc so that he can enhance his skills, so how is Goku doing the same thing not to enhance his skills? It's like we can't have skills and ki at the same time, but yet Iron-Fist does that all day. w/o his ki, he is nothing more than Daredevil or someone like a HAND member. You guys praise their trainers to much, (Batman loses to Zealot due to her overall power not just pure skills) same difference. Roshi being skilled already shows Goku how to build what he already has, not build ki to automatically be a martial artist?

Really, last I checked you weren't Shocwave. Sockwave never said no pwers, ki isn't a power. H never said in blaxck and white that Goku is at peak human levels. That was your interpertation. Guest Pseudonym
Me and methos should go buy a *vulgarity*in' island and just debate whatever we want without semantics and other bullshit. The question of Goku with any amount of power vs Batman is not an interesting discussion. It's not. But here's the good news, we don't have to have that discussion. We can talk about literally whatever permutation of that we want. It makes the most sense to scales Goku down to about Bats's level of physical fitness so we can just talk about the karate chops they know. Nesh
Why aren't you understanding that full powered Goku vs Batman would be a boring stomp? I understand that it's a stomp, I said as much in my first post on this thread. However by merit of it OP which says simply "No powers, no prep." and the nature of it not being a power anymore than Batman's or martial arts and its benenefits coming from training and being a honed skill. That Goku is at full power and therefore does stomp..

C.T.
Apparently the ability to fly, shoot energy blasts, push apart mountains is no longer considered a power. I call bullshit.
Guest bigballerju
The fact that KI can be manipulated to planet busting levels means its a power. You may not see it as a power but it is. Whats even funnier is in DBZ they refer to it as there power level but yet your saying its not.

Yes they do come with KI. Perfect example is Gohan training Videl which he even told her she needed to use her KI to fly. Another example is Master Roshi who said it himself in Dragonball. H never said in blaxck and white that Goku is at peak human levels. That was your interpertation. Shockwave said "no powers". Now, let's see... Superhuman Strength = a power. Superhuman speed = a power. Superhuman durability = a power. Being able to fire energy blasts = a power. Goku can have all the Ki he(or you) wants, but he still won't have any powers. My saying that his Ki has been reduced to human levels, is just a way to make it(the scenario) understandable for the slow readers.

Another example is Master Roshi who said it himself in Dragonball. The ki was already there. The abilty to fly is an application of the ki. Videl didn't suddenly gain ki when she learned how to fly. That's like saying I only gained legs when I leaned to move them.
