Just because you use Karate Kid, doesn't mean that others aren't allowed to use him as well. As long as it is not identical teams. And Midnighter would be out of his league in this match. Duncan Idaho has far more experience than Zealot and Batman-One Million(combined), considering that he has the memories of all of his predecessors, going back to the beginning of the human race. Yes, you're allowed to use characters from any genre you want, as long as they are actual 'canon' characters. I.e. no OC's. And I don't know enough about FF to say if Cloud Strife is too powerful, but Mace Windu won't be able to use the Force externally for the fight(i.e. he will only be able to use it to physically enhance himself, and for the precog ability. no TK, no mind-reading, etc.) Also keep in mind that both teams have Prep Time. If you can't see your enemy, touch your enemy or even attack him(thanks pre-cog) if you could see or touch him, then you got no chance fighting 50 or more of them.
