DSkillz
Welcome to electricferret, tjcoolbeanz. Since you're new here (at least I hope that's the case), I figured that I should tell you that a match is made in the CBUB Battles, there's expected to be at least some kind of story behind it. Guest badpierce
It is a kinda cool topic just not a good setup. It will have a much bigger impact when it if they make a movie. Who should play shepherd?

Guest sirmethos
If it had been put in the Fan Discussion or the General Discussion board on the forum, it would have been a great topic. But as a setup/match. It's bad.
Guest force_echo
Hmm. Interesting question. I think part of the reason Mass Effect is so great, and popular, is that it combines the best, "cliches" I guess you can say, from other influential sci-fi works. Even though it takes cliches, the game itself is not a cliche, because its story effectively combines all of these elements. Some obvious ones: Star Wars- Fairly obvious, biotic powers. This is the same company which made KOTOR I/IIAlien- The RachniBlade Runner- The SpectresStar trek- Krogan/Klingon. They even sound similar. Guest Guest
Alien- The RachniI think the Rachni are much more based off of the Racnoss from Dr Who than the Aliens. They aren't really that similar, other than the fact that they both have queens that control the others, but even that is take from bugs in the real world
Guest force_echo
Eh, thats what I took of it. I do think that the whole fear of the AI thing is a theme taken from Frankenstein.
