Please read: Magneto strode thru the Genosha cliffs listening to the steady thrum of the surf on the rocks below, a quarter moon was in the sky and a fair breeze blew playing with his cape, it was so peaceful it almost made Magneto forget his problems almost. Mutants were still opressed and as long as the ilk of humanity existed Magneto would never stop fighting, Magneto drew out a heavy sigh how long had it been? How many battles must he fight? How much had he already lost? Charles Magneto didn't know what made him think of him he had been his friend but now they were at odds, Charles believed in peace a childish notion, violence was all mankind understood, hadnt Magneto seen that first hand?Wanda and Pietro fought valiantly for him a smile touched his contenance that was a good reason to keep fighting to give them a future. Magneto's thoughts were interrupted he heard a bang like a gunshot and he felt odd like he was conducting static then the sensation stopped and he was no longer in Genosha. ************** Grand admiral Thrawn stood facing the viewing portal hands clasped behind his back in the classic parade rest position, he stared at the stars that were slowly crawling by the star destroyer, there were so many and how many had life? He blinked his red eyes slowly taking in space and it's majesty, it was good to reflect on space it was serene, beautiful and cruel.Thrawn shook his head he had a task at hand, reuniting a broken empire it wasn't easy rallying the broken vistages of a once great empire nor assuring hem victory, though he was confident in his own abilities thrawn still had doubts on his own abilities though he never expressed them, hadn't history shown that even the greatest admirals and generals would be defeated it was inevitable. How much longer before another outflaked him? The admiral didn't have time to reflect any longer with a bang he disappeared from the deck of the ship. *****************Magneto and Thrawn stood in a dark room facing each other a chessboard lay between them, they gasped when they saw each other Thrawn went for his blaster as Magneto threw up a shield, "STOP!" a commanding voice said, "You will not harm each other!" "Who said that?" Magneto yelled, "Do you realize the consequences of kidnapping an officer of the Empire!" Thrawn challenged the voice."You will both return in due time but first you must play the games we have set for you." Magneto scoffed, "Pfff I have better things to do then play games for amusement." "As do I." Said Thrawn, "Then I guess you will stay here, the sooner you play the sooner you leave what harm can come of this? Think of this as an exercise in strategy." "Very well" Magneto said sitting down across the chess set "I hope you are a worthy opponet." Thrawn only smiled. Okay it's whoever can win the most out of four strategy based games. 1. Chess 2. This dude is a military genius, recogized in his universe and was only defeated when he was betrayed and stabbed to death. Until then, he had the superior New Republic on the ropes and reeling from defeat after defeat... all due to his ability to know his enemy from art work (it sounds silly, and it is).
