Guest Square Pickle
(Justice Lord's dimension: June,3rd,2005) After the death of Wally West in 2003, The JLA took every precaution they could to prevent another hero from being killed in battle, even going by the more stern name of "The Justice Lords". In 2003, they switched dimensions and discovered a place where The Flash was still alive. After being sent back by the alternate Justice League, The Justice Lord's Batman (unknown to the JLA) left a surveillance camera in their dimension's Batcave while he had their Batman held captive. After watching them for sometime, they watched as that world's Superman was assumed dead after a battle with the Toymaker. Then before the Batcave was discovered, and the surveillance camera destroyed, The Justice Lords watched as their counter-part's world fell apart. They knew they needed to help other dimensions prevent this outcome. They would enter other dimensions and make sure that the villains were shown no mercy and that the heroes were spared from their own failures. This led them to surveillance yet, another Earth dimension were there was no JLA at all. Instead, there were many teams and solo heroes that seemed to be in a never ending battles with not only villains, but often each other as well. The Justice Lords knew that if a villain were to strike while these heroes had their disputes, it could cause far more damage than necessary. The Justice Lords seen one battle in particular that caught their attention. A group calling themselves the X-Men were battling an enemy group of mutants that gained the upper hand when two teammates began to fight each other. The Justice Lords knew that the only way to ensure the X-Men's survival, was to take over leadership of their team... Whether they like it, or not. (X-Mansion June, 3rd, 1993) A fight later broke out at the Mansion between Wolverine and Cyclops over the outcome of their battle with The Brotherhood of Mutants. -Cyclops: "What were you thinking Logan?! I could have stopped Magneto!". -Wolverine: "You could have gotten us all killed!". -Cyclops: "I knew exactly what I was doing! Magneto got away with Jean because of you!". -Wolverine: "Magneto wanted you to take that shot! He was going to throw a barrel of explosive gases in front of you as soon as you took the shot! Everyone walked out alive because of me! If you had your way, we'd all be dead! Including Jean!". -Cyclops: "I had him! ...I could have stopped Magneto". As Cyclops stormed off, Wolverine slashed through the soda machine in the lounge. Just then Beast ran in and broke the tension. He told the team to turn on the TV quickly and see the news. He couldn't believe his eyes. The Juggernaut and Magneto had been captured by a new group of heroes, who were hunting down the Brotherhood and claimed that they were now here to help the X-Men. Wolverine told Beast to inform the Professor of these new heroes. Cyclops heard the fuss from the hallway and decided to prepare the team, in case this new team had ill intentions for the X-Men. As Professor Xavier gathered the team, he explained to them that they should not go looking for a fight, but to also keep their guard up. The new heroes were obviously quite capable since they had already taken down two heavy hitters in such a small amount of time. Just then there was a knock at the front door. As Jubilee answered, she was met by a very polite Superman, who introduced the Justice Lords of America to her. She allowed them in and brought them to the Professor and the other X-Men. As Superman told the X-Men about his intentions to form a stronger alliance by working with them to stop the Brotherhood for good. Xavier read Superman's mind during his speech and knew that his cause was much darker than he led on. After they formed a super-team, the JLA intended to cut Xavier out of the picture and lead a more unified X-Men to take over the USA and turn the X-Mansion into a mutant prison for those with powers who refused to join their cause. -Xavier: "No! ...Im sorry Superman. Were just not interested". -Cyclops: "But Professor, his ideas could help us a lot. Are you sure we should turn them down". -Professor-X: "Yes Scott... Im quite sure". -Martian Manhunter (In Xavier's mind): "Its not nice to read people's thoughts when they are trying to help your cause professor". -Martian Manhunter: "Superman, he read your mind". -Superman: "That's too bad. Please step down Professor. We don't want any problems. We just need you to let us take over from here. It will help us save more lives". -Xavier: "No... It will kill everything we have always fought for". -Superman: "Ill ask you one more time...". -Wolverine: "He said no, bub. You need help cleaning out your ears?". (Reveals his claws) -Superman: "...You all feel this way?". Every X-Man gathered behind the Professor to show their loyalty. Superman apologized for what the choice they all made, then Batman shook the house by detonating a bomb he placed on the X-Wing an hour before. -Superman: "Im sorry it's come to this. Looks like we'll have to save this world on our own". The X-Men and the Justice Lords prepared for battle in the X-Mansion's main hall. (The Justice Lords know about the danger room, but don't know where its located in the mansion. They also know Cyclops can shoot beams from his eyes and that Xavier can read minds, but that's all they've seen... {Justice Lords have all the members they had in the Animated Series. X-Men have: Wolverine, Professor-X, Cyclops, Jubilee, Storm, Beast, Gambit, and Rogue from the Animated Series).

DSkillz
Its posted the match as soon as I chose my characters. It didnt give me a chance to write the setup. -.- So that's what's happening with several people now... Now that the match has "officially" posted, you might as well write it out in the OP. In the meantime, post exactly what happens when you try to make a match here: http://www.electricferret.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=25316

leroypowell3
That's happening to me too. I just write the set up like normal and hope nobody looks at it and yells at me before I get done. As for the match. Justice Lords win. No time to go into detail right now.
comic_book_fan
not bad x-men can win this in the cartoons professor x has an edge on martain manhunter and rogue has traded punches with gladiator since this is the cartoon versions it will come down to wolverine vs batman and wolverine wins by making evil batman see that the justice lords are wrong and by beating the shit out him. Guest bigballerju
Rogue would only be able to take out Wonder Woman, Xavier could take out Martian Manhunter, Batman loses to any of the other X-Men and then the X-Men would still have huge threats to deal with which the other X-Men wouldn't stand a chance against. Superman and Green Lantern would have nobody on the X-Men who would pose a threat to them. Good fight but Justice Lords win.
Guest Square Pickle
I dont know. In the animated versions, Storm was good enough to hand with GL, Id say. Keep in mind, this is the cartoon version of John Stewart. Id say he wins in the end, but they would still have a close match... Also, Im not sure how animated Superman would react to a optic-blast from Cyclops. He wasnt as sturdy as the comicbook Superman. I remember times in TAS when Joker, Batman, Luthor, and at one point Bane all got the upper hand on Superman. If Cyc were to stay on him he could put up a decent fight I think... Im just glad the Lord's didnt have a Flash. It would be game over.

In the animated version, John Stewart is powerful enough to destroy a moon with a stray shot(i.e. not even close to his full power). That is far beyond what Storm can do. I dont remember that episode, but GL isnt as powerful on Earth as he was in space (dont know why, just going by feats). GL got beat up by Luthor in a power suit a few times, I think Storm has a fighting chance. Besides, their powers a far too different to determin whose stronger when both are on Earth. Storm could start a hurricane, and several tornados, and while GL's ring contains much more power, I dont see how that would prevent Storm from unleashing her powers on him. Like I said though, I believe GL would win, but not with ease.

C.T.
That power seemed to be debunked later on in the JLU series, as 20 or so Green Lanterns, including John Stewart, Kyle Rayner, Kilowog and more, were ready to use every last bit of power to take out Amazo. It was remarked that a blast like that could destroy half a planet. Now this is coming from 20 Lanterns, if just one(John Stewart) had the power to destroy a moon without even trying...surely they could do better. Pretty sure this also wasn't a bluff, as everyone of these GLs had thought Oa destroyed.
Guest Pympy
I think superman alone can take out the Xmen at once, the cartoons show them being weaker, i.e. Logan heals slower. But rogue and well that's about it would actually put up a fight! Prof X would be able to stop them if he tried but we don't ever see him trying I never saw justice lords though
Guest sirmethos
The Justice Lords are essentially 'evil'/dark versions of the JLA, from an alternate reality.

Guest sirmethos
No, that's from the Anti-Matter universe. Batman from Justice Lords, is still called Batman. While this doesn't give a particularly full description of them(definitely not as much as actually seeing the episodes), it's better than nothing: http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Justice_Lords
baneblade
I think the key in the Justice Lord's win would not be their power matchups and their punch throwing. They way they worked was dynamic, when combined with those over the top powers. Plus, they do not hold back. The only reason they went down in the animated show even was primarily their soft spot for Flash. That actually became the factor for their downfall. Even Paul Dini, who was on the creative team commented that Flash would not beat SUperman on the best day, but it was conflictions and complexes that won the day for Flash and classic JLA, otherwise the Lords were having the same experience, and power set, with an addition of brutality. The X-men won't stand a chance, but again, it won;t be a walk in the park for the Lords either. Cheers.
DSkillz
Good set-up, SP. The Justice Lords take this mainly on the strength of the heavy hitters (Supes, MM, WW, and GL). The TAS X-Men don't really have anything to put them all down. Rogue's not nearly strong enough to go toe-to-toe with any of the heavy hitters, and even if she starts to absorb the powers of one of them, one of the others would put her down quickly. MM would keep Xavier engaged in psychic combat long enough for one of the others to take the X-Mansion's headmaster out. Storm's weather powers wouldn't hold the heavy hitters back for long [depending on where we are in the JL/JLU cartoon, Wondy's gauntlets can either deflect Ororo's lightning (which would leave Storm wide open for a lethal speed blitz) or become great conductors for it (at which point, Diana would be down for the count)]. The others are either don't have strong enough attacks or are too slow to do any major damage to the big guns. They could conceivable take out Batman and Hawkgirl, though their perfect willingness to kill would make things even harder for the X-Men. The only chance the X-Men would've had was if Jean was on their team with her Phoenix powers, but per the set-up, she's not there.
Guest bigballerju
Rogue on the show was pretty strong so I can see her taking down Wonder Woman. Like someone pointed out she did fight Gladiator and do very well. Thats the only heavy hitter the X-Men take down. The rest lose of the team loses. The only thing I could see is if Xavier could mind control Superman and take down another heavy hitter. However thats highly unlike with Martian Manhunter there. The only other thing I can think of is if Batman gets killed by Wolverine and that makes the Justice Lords retreat because of losing another JL member.
