Guest Ghost Tiger Posted October 8, 2009 Share Posted October 8, 2009 Can Thanos defeat the Phantom Stranger? The battle takes place in Star World from Super Mario World. Scenario 1. No prep whatsoever, random encounter who wins? Scenario 2. Each character has a week of prep time to prepare for the battle. They can use anything at their disposal to discern any weaknesses their opponent may have. No IG or HoTU Scenario 3. Same as 2 but a whole year of prep. Scenario 4. Same as 3 but IG is allowed. Thanos wins in a heated contest. 3rd: Thanos in another close call. 4th: Thanos in a stomp. Phantom Stranger never was one to use prep time, after all he is pretty much omniscient anyways. It was more of a chance for Thanos to show what he can do with prep and perhaps have a chance of beating Stranger than Stranger actually using the prep time. I have a feeling that people don't understand the full aspect of the Phantom's power. I dig, but with the I.G. he should be able to take down Stranger (though not kill him).
