In a big gladiatorial arena somewhere on Panem, Claudius Templesmith adresses the bloodthirsty masses in the audience.

 

"Hello, and welcome to another edition of 'The Hunger Games'!" says Claudius Templesmith

 

The crowd roars in approval.

 

"For this edition of 'The Hunger Games', we are doing things a little different. First of all, thanks to our beloved President Snow finding that Stargate on his backyward, the Tributes this year won't be from different districts! Instead, they will be from different UNIVERSES!" says Claudius

 

The crowd goes wild.

 

"And second, close examination of past Games have determined that the Tributes often don't put on a good show because they are pitted one against the other. So, for this edition, it's gonna be a team battle! A team of three versus another team of three! The winning team wins its freedom, the losing team, if it survives, gets executed! And now, let's meet our Tributes!" says Claudius

 

The crowd cheers and applauds

 

"First, Team 1:

 

-from the 'Harry Potter' universe, armed with her wand, the Invisibility Cloak and a flask of Polyjuice Potion, LUNA LOVEGOOD!

 

-from the 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' universe, a Tribute so powerful and skilled that she needs no weapon, TOPH BEI FONG!

 

-from the 'Percy Jackson' universe, armed with her Yankees Cap, her Celestial bronze knife and a pair of Daedalu's Wings, ANNABETH CHASE!" says Claudius

 

The crowd again cheers as Team 1 enters the arena. They know that this is Panem, this is the Hunger Games, so they have no choice but to fight Team 2 to the death for their freedom.

 

"And now, Team 2:

 

-from the 'Chronicles of Narnia' universe, armed with a sword, a flask of healing potion and that book of spells from 'Voyage of the Dawn Treader', LUCY PEVENSIE!

 

-from the 'Lord of the Rings' universe, armed with the sword Sting, a Mithril vest and a flask of healing potion, FRODO BAGGINS!

 

-and finally, from the Marvel universe, another Tribute so tough and powerful that she doesn't need any weapons, MOLLY HAYES!" says Claudius

 

As the crowd cheers again, Team 2 enters the arena. They also know that there's no pointing resisting it, that they have to fight Team 1 to the death so they can win their freedom.

 

"And now, without further ado, let's get this edition of 'The Hunger Games' started!" says Claudius as the crowd cheers again

 

So, which teams wins this brutal fight to the death: Team 1 or Team 2?
