leroypowell3 Posted April 2, 2012 Share Posted April 2, 2012 Previously, David Palmer sent Raven to support LeRoy Greene after LeRoy discovered the Sith recruiting powerful fighters to their order. LeRoy and Raven learned that the Sith were going after mutants too when they engaged Nick Gant in battle. The three of them suffered an attack by Sleepwalker but his reality warping eye beams wore off suddenly and they were left with questions on how to proceed. ____________________________________________________________________ “These Sith are obviously more dangerous than I hoped they would be.†That was the response that David Palmer had to LeRoy Greene and Raven’s report. The fact that the new group was not only recruiting powerful fighters, but mutants as well, worried him. “You’ll be glad to know that I’ve got back up coming to you as we speak.†said Palmer. “That is good news, sir.†Raven replied. “Miami has seen a lot of disturbances.†“Keep me informed of any developments.†Palmer signed off. “You should let me go down there, sir.†Jack Bauer complained. “I know you’re eager to see some action, Jack,†said Palmer compassionately. “But you only just got out of the hospital. Considering what we’re up against, you may be out of your league.†Jack didn’t take the argument as an insult. “I understand that, sir, but still, I could be of use in a command capacity.†“Not a bad idea,†Palmer considered. “But I have a different situation that I need you for. Have you ever heard of Erik Killmonger?†“I can’t say I have, sir.†Jack admitted. “He’s a Wakandan.†Palmer explained. “Something of a despot. I squashed an agreement our government had with him while I was President. LeRoy encountered him in Miami. Says Killmonger tried to recruit him. Whatever Killmonger is up to, it can’t be good. I don’t know if it effects the U.S., but it surely will effect Wakanda. What I need you to do is find out who Killmonger is working through.†Jack went over in his head the possibilities. “I’ll start right away sir.†“Good to have you back, Jack.†The former president smiled. “Make sure to call me with any findings and with any assistance you might need.†He added grimly. “Including backup.†“I will, sir.†His assignment received Jack Bauer did as he said he would and got started right away. _____________________________________________________________________ THE MATCH PARAMETERS- Killmonger’s government support if the Cancer Man. Killmonger is not a threat as far as this match is concerned. Vote for Jack if you believe the 24 hero can uncover the Cigarette-Smoking Man’s connection to Killmonger. He doesn’t have to identify him or thwart his plan just learn that the Cancer Man is the one behind Killmonger. Vote for the Cancer Man if you think the X-Files villian can keep Jack in the dark.
