Trenching through the mounds of snow in Little Borough, it was hard for Alix to feel any emotions at all. Aside from the fact that her nerve endings for temperature were completely shot due to the collagen injection, Alix still decided to keep herself nullified, and emotionless. She looked like a blank face lost in the wilderness, her red, bushy hair being the only thing that made her stand out among the endless trees and shrubs.

After about an hour of sulking, Alix went back to the country house to rest, she was after all trying to have a vacation. Ascending the common, warm steps Alix kept her eyes essentially focused on the images of her own past, barely even aware of her direction. When she had finally arrived in her bedroom, she began resting on the traditional, country bed. The smell of mothballs filled the room, dancing around carelessly in Alix's nostrils. Disturbed by the scent, Alix kept trying to keep her mind focused on the reason she was so depressed.

Popping into the room, albeit without a single knock, the little girl, a one, Mary Cupcakes, tried to cheer Alix up with a homely styled breakfast. Alix however, barely rolled over an inch to see what it was that Mary brought for her. "Aren't you hungry?," Mary asked concerned. "What's the point in eating, I ain't alive," Alix remarked. "Why are you saying that Ali?", Mary begged. "Because it's true," Alix muttered. "Nothing alive, has ever has skin this hard."

"I believe that everyone should be happy in life, despite any misfortunes they may have," Mary smiled. "Good for you," Alix replied snarkily. In response, Mary put her hand on Alix's arm for a minute. "You can't close the world off forever Alix," Mary gave a sympathetic smile. "If there were a world for me to close off, then maybe, but there isn't anything left for someone like me," Alix stated as she tilted her head. Shaking her head, Mary stood up and left the room, leaving the food on the bedroom nightstand.

Meanwhile, Nezulla who had snuck into the states by the international sewer systems, had become attracted to the land above in Little Borough. Slamming his head into the ice covered man hole cover, Nezulla leapt out of the wet sewers and onto the frozen and snow cluttered streets. Snarling at the foreign weather phenomenon in front of him, Nezulla raced off into the dark bushes up ahead to avoid the chance of any potential attacks out in the open. Scanning the area for heat signatures with his eyes, Nezulla found, resoundingly, a great deal arising from a barber shop a little while away.

Racing over to the shop, Nezulla watched as the men inside, carefully swept up the mass influx of hair flechets from the tiled floors. "Did you watch the super bowl?," the short man asked. "Uh no, what happened?," the fat man asked. "Giants won," the short man blandly told him. "Oh really?," the fat man perked up a bit. "Good for them." Putting away his broom and dust pan, the short man reached for his hat while pulling open the door.

As soon as the door was able to move about a couple of inches from the doorway, the short man came face to face with the muscled figure of the rat monster, Nezulla. Heavily shocked by the form in front of him, the short man couldn't express any emotion in reaction, he could only attempt to step back into the shop. Nezulla however, wouldn't be having any of that, and expressed his point by stabbing the man with his claw.

The blood dripped seamlessly from his chest onto his light blue shirt, but Nezulla wasn't satisfied with just that, in fact he continued to push his claw all the way through the man's chest and out the other side. Falling back to the floor of the shop, the short man's body remained bleeding until Nezulla walked onto of his partially alive heart. In response, the fat man ran for the closest entrance in desperation, only to find it evidently locked. Using that time to get him, Nezulla stood right behind the fat man as he turned around.

Back at the country house though, Alix ate her breakfast and came down the stairs in a track pants and a flak jacket. Noticing Mary messing with her ear in the living room, Alix decided to go over to her. Tapping her softly at her side, Alix tried to get Mary's attention. However, Mary did not respond, and Alix was forced to redirect her. Finishing what she was doing, Mary looked at Alix. "I am sorry Alix did you want something?", Mary asked cluelessly. "That thing…in your ear?", Alix stammered. "What were you doing with it?" Going quiet for a second, it took Mary a little while to figure out what Alix was talking about.

"Oh, you mean my hearing aid?", Mary figured out. Nodding her head up and down for a moment, Alix remained silent. "I was adjusting it, you see every so often it'll get buggy, and I'll have trouble hearing you", Mary stated. "So I take the time to carefully maintain it, so I can effectively hear you." "You're…you're deaf ?", Alix asked. "You didn't know?" Mary asked innocently. "It's part of the reason I told you my mantra for life." "But people…don't they flee from you, don't they think of you as a freak?", Alix asked. "If they do it's there own opinion, and I eon't hate them for it", Mary replied. "You're a good person Mary", Alix stated as she touched Mary's shoulder. "And so are you Alix," Mary smiled.

Just then, a flurry of rustlings started to occur in the kitchen of the house, and Mary was forced to get up and see what was going on. As Alix sat there contemplating Mary's words, she heard a scream coming from the kitchen. Rushing in, Alix found Mary cornered in the wall by Nezulla. Stepping towards the refrigerator, Alix snatched Nezulla's tail, and began swinging him around. After about three turns, Alix threw him into the kitchen sink. Nezulla though, was barely damaged at all, and instead turned his fury towards the dumb founded Alix, who stood there flabbergasted.

Pretty good set-up, Z. You may want to space each individual line of dialogue, though, so that it's a bit easier to read.

As for the match, I'm not really sure who would win here. Both Bulleteer and Nezulla seem to have very tough hides. It's probably going to be a tough fight, but I think Alix may eke out the win due to having relatively more battle experinence.
