Match 11194 Cyclops vs. Darth Vader

Years have passed since the final battle against the Dark Pehonix.

the Marvel Universe was at peace

however the Pheonix would one day return to earth.

 

 

present day.

 

 

 

Captain America has just been informed by Nova that the Pheonix is returning to Earth.

he then later pays a visit to X-men and tells Wolverine about what he was informed of.

 

however

The Galactic Empire was trying to capture the cosmic entity and use it as a weapon to destroy the Rebel Alliance once and for all.

 

the Star Destroyers travel to Earth where the Pheonix is landing.

later.

the Tie Fighters are deployed

Cyclops then gets a call from Norad informing him that unidentified drones have been spotted above the Statue of Liberty.

then X-men go to fight the menace of the Empire.

after a swift battle the X-men claim victory.

however Darth Vader lands his Tie fighter and climbs out of the cockpit.

Cyclops' you must be that Sith Lord.

Darth Vader; correct my friend i am the Dark Lord of the Sith.

surrender or die.

Cyclops' sure. NOT!

Darth Vader activates his lightsaber

Colossus' enough talk, let's fight.

Cyclops' i will handle this myself.

Colossus' yes sir.

vader blocks optic blast with the force and im putting money on colossus not withstanding the force with his armor like he can against limited blasts and limited magic. I just don't see clops or colossus in any advantage here (not even together). Vader may not even break a sweat to be honest. I could possibly be wrong though. Maybe i'm underestimating the x-men side of the fight here. just maybe.

i really don't care much for cylops but this one is in the bag for him, vader's tuff but i think cyclops might win especcily is the x-men arrive to help

Cyclops optic blast is far more powerful to what vader sually blocks (laser version of a six shooter which is what han solo's gun basically is) Vader can however use the force to remove the visor to stop cyclops from useing his attack effectively or entirely but it wouldn't be wise for the dark lord to try and block a direct optic shot from cyclops.

Colossus and the X-Men don't matter in this fight. This is a head to head battle between Cyclops (my favorite X-Man) and The Dark Lord of the Sith. Darth Vader Force Chokes the life out of Cyclops while Colossus watches in stunned silence.

I agree that cyclops's beam is too strong for Vader to block but he still looses. Vader is too much for him alone.

Scott isn't stupid. As he's choking, he can reach up, pull off his visor, open his eyes and optic blast Vader onto his ass with a gigantic beam.

People must be kidding me to think Vader could block a optic blast, heat vision, or anything powerful like those attacks. Cyclops with one blast took out a group of Sentinels. Cyclops has more then one way to activate his visor. In the same seconds it takes Vader to force choke Cyclops it will also take Cyclops seconds to hit Vader with a huge optic blast killing him.

 

People seem to forget also that Cyclops has dealt with that form of TK attack before and way more.

blocking the blast with his saber is totally 150% out of the pic in this. the force choke could be the factor in this one. i'v never seen anyone reach up to there face while being force choked.

Because for one, I don't recall anyone getting choked being able to shoot massive optic blasts out of their eyes. Two, they always reach for their neck for some reason, which means they can move their arms.

You are forgetting that, MOST OF THE TIME (I know SOME comics and other tie-in material that are the exception, but I don't think they count), Vader has to do his choking gesture in order to perform the Force Choke.

 

By the time he starts doing those gestures, Cyclops already blasted his metal ass.

I still say that the Force Choke ends him, but just for good measure we'll go ahead and let Vader do a lightsaber throw and take out those pesky eyes to make that Optic Blast a non factor. No matter what, the Sith Lord would win this fight!

Green Lantern could handle that blast. He could contain it, deflect it, block it, so on and so forth.

Green lantern would only block it IF he knew it was coming depending on the situation. If that was done point blank and GL was not ready for it...forget it.

With no lense Cyclops won't be able to see where Vader is, even if he aims wildly. Then with some initial dodging, Vader can snap his neck. Advantage: Vader.

Did you see how big that optic blast was in the scan? Does it look like being able to direct the blast would be a problem?

 

 

As a matter of fact Vader's worse move would be to remove the visors.

Actually it may be the best move, after a force push. Yes, Cyclops will be able to use full optic blast, but he won't be able to see that well afterwards without massive damage.

Vader would be completely destroyed in seconds after he took Cyclop's visor off. Vader is not even remotely fast enough to move out the way of such a attack. Scott wouldn't close his eyes either once Vader took the visor off. Your forgetting the fact once Vader takes off Scott's visor he would be unleashing Scott's optic blast at full power.

Umm, no. At point blank that blast might slightly hurt him, maybe knock him back some, but it would not go past his protective barrier. GL's shields are on a level to block supernovas, that blast would be nothing.

Vader can survive an optic blast. Worst-case scenario: he gets blasted on his ass before snapping Cyclops' neck.

 

But that's a moot point as snapping Cykes' neck with the force is faster than Cyclops reaching to his visor to blast him.
