Z451
In the clamor of the foamy surf, Calypso could see the brighter days of her life. The brief affair with Sergei was certainly a part of which, but Kraven wasn't altogether everything to her. That honor was awarded to the picturesque life she spent in the Caribbean. As a result of the travesties, and chaos she caused in New York though, she knew she'd never be able to return to the Caribbean shores ever again. Not that the US's power extended that far, but the consequences allotted by her actions were sufficient enough, to withhold her from ever coming into any democracy in the vicinity. Despite the shadowed hand of the law preventing her from the islands, the exotic islands of the Galapagos were far from the typical rules of order. Here, almost anything went by without so much as a scratch. A hoard of smugglers, pirates, and mercenaries gathered into port nearly every hour. Between the nonsensical parties, and the almost predictable beer brawls, these islands were the farthest thing from the law. However, the resemblances, despite subtle differences, were adequate enough to be attributed as a near facsimile of her home. Meanwhile, after his success in Las Vegas through the graboids, Frankie Firecracker also felt the allure of Galapagos as well. But why would either of these two ever consider the Galapagos islands, other than the highly absent nature of the law? The turtles! Believe it or not, the Galapagos Tortoises were worth ten times more than a cleanly cut diamond. Hence, Frankie would be without a second thought in procuring one. Since his funds were cut off by the Death Klowns after the incident in Nevada, Frankie was in dire need of resources. Provided the fact that the Galapagos Tortoises were worthy of an additional purpose other than their fiscal worth, it was much to the South American people's dismay that Calypso took of value of them as well. Her own reasons for the said interest, were predicated on the biological nature of the creatures. In recent studies, the amphibians were anointed as having regenerative capabilities far beyond that of other species. Calypso herself, in her sincerest of thoughts, believed that the regenerative nature of the beings could be effective in restoring Sergei's body to its former glory. However because the species was so rare, the race to capture one was made all the more treacherous. Nevertheless, it did little to alleviate the fever in everyone's thoughts. "They must have the type of regeneration abilities I need", Calypso remarked. "But to reincarnate Sergei, it'll take more than simply above average regenerative abilities". "I'll need a definite reduplication; every molecule will need to multiplied." Walking along the shores, Calypso found the tropics to be very relaxing. Too relaxing even, to attribute a great deal of thought. Suddenly however, the ground began to shatter to pieces. The very fabric of the earth being torn in half, the fierce form of a Graboid soured into the sky. It's gritty and gigantic form invoked terror into Calypso's eyes, as it towered above her. Shocked enough by the first one, Calypso was even more set back by the appearance of four more behind it.
