leroypowell3
Previously: Brought from Despondose to Earth, the evil sorcerer Hordak began his conquest of the planet. He battled the demon sorcerer Shendu and separated him from the talismans. When Bruce Lee confronted Hordak, he was put under a spell of servitude. Fighting for Hordak, Bruce battled The Shredder and lost. Hordak used the horse talisman to heal him and then armed Lee with the talismans to make him a more powerful warrior. Then, like all the others who had been put under the spell of servitude, Bruce Lee was freed- but he still has the talismans. ____________________________________________________________________________________ “Mandarin!†The Mandarin stired. “I have need of you!†“Shendu?†The Mandarin wondered out loud. Or maybe it wasn’t out loud. His was in some sort of dream state. “We are still connected through our mystical alliance.†Shendu explained. “Being that you failed me and my demon brothers and sisters centuries ago, you owe me.†It was true. When the Mandarin was young, he had allied himself with Shendu and the other demon sorcerers as they made their move to take over the world. Mandarin was supposed to kill the immortals who had set out to stop them. He failed and Shendu and his kind were banished to their dimensional prison. Hesitantly, Mandarin asked, “What is it you need?†“The talismans that power me. They have been lost to a warrior named Bruce Lee. I need you to retrieve them for me so that I may be restored and we can resume our work.†“Why should I?†Mandarin smarted off. “You failed.†“You failed!†Shendu threw back. “The immortals were yours to kill but you were more interested in learning their secrets!†“Secrets that I did learn.†Mandarin boasted. “I still don’t see why I should resume my alliance with you.†“Because if you do not do this, then I will recruit others. And once we are successful. You will be my first target.†Knowing Shendu and his kind very well, Mandarin could absorb the full scope of the threat. As an act of defiance, he made Shendu wait a long time before he answered. “I will do it.†· * * Bruce Lee had gone back to his normal life. He had was teaching, training and even made some extra money as a stunt double for his pal Fei Long. He was sure to keep the talismans on him at all times. Their power was tremendous and versatile. It would be a tragedy for them to come into the possession of someone less than honorable. Bruce really didn’t want them but he felt confident in his ability to protect them until he could meet with those wiser than him to give him guidance on what to do with them. Preparing to head to his private gym to train, Bruce found a main waiting for him. “You have something that I want.†The Mandarin said coldly. “Surrender the talismans and I will let you live.†“You want the talismans?†Bruce took his shirt off and displayed a belt with all twelve talismans affixed to it. “Over my dead body.†The Mandarin smirked. “As you wish.†So the Mandarin has his rings and Bruce (his character from Enter The Dragon) has the talismans. Mandarin, of course, won’t be able to kill Bruce because of the dog talisman and really won’t be able to injure him because of the horse talisman, but I’m sure you guys can think of ways for Mandarin to defeat Bruce (if you think he has the skill) and strip Bruce of the talismans. What do you say? THE TALISMANS’ powers are: Pig- heat beam eye blasts Ox- super strength Rooster- levitation Rabbit- speed Snake- invisibility Tiger- split personalities (yin yang) (good bad) Dragon- fire (blasts) Sheep- astral projection Dog- immortality Rat- reanimation (of statues and stuff like that) Horse- healing Monkey- shape shifting MANDARIN’S ring powers are: Ice blast Mento –Intensifier (mind control) Electro blast Flame Blast White Light Black Light Disintegration Beam Vortex Beam Impact Beam Matter Rearranger

Guest bigballerju
Great fight which is actually a good idea as both would be great to see in action against each other. Bruce with the power, skill, and experience has enough to win the fight. Okay setup.

DSkillz
Pretty good set-up and tough matchup, leroy. Looking at both Mandarin and talisman-armed Bruce, this will be a pretty tough fight. Their fighting skill may be almost even, and while I'm thinking Mandarin's Makluan rings have more raw power than the talismans, the horse and dog talismans will counter any damage the rings could do to Bruce. Bruce could also avoid many of Mandarin's attacks using the rooster and rabbit talismans. Mandarin could try to control Bruce with the Mento-ring, but Bruce could probably try to avoid that with the Sheep talisman. And that may be the key to Mandarin winning this fight. When he uses the Mento-ring, Bruce may try to escape by using the Sheep talisman to split his astral form from his body. From there, Mandarin may be able to take the talismans away from Lee's now-idle body, and maybe even capture Bruce's astral form with the Mento-ring to boot. I'm so glad somebody thought to post a way that Mandarin could win. Just cause Bruce can't be injured or killed doesn't mean that Mandarin doesn't have the smarts to get the talisman's away from him. THANK YOU!
