For thousands of years the raceof Titans have been at bloody war with the Gods of Apokolips. In their latest confrontation with one another the battle ended in the surrender of the mighty Titans. Thanos, the leader was now to bow at the feet of Lord Darkseid in order to save his own life.

After the end of the war, Darkseid had figured his planet was at total relief and no more war would threaten his planet of Apokolips. He was terribly wrong! Once again, the Silver Surfer is on a quest to find a new source of food to support the hunger of Galactus. After coming upon the perpetual, burning planet of Apokolips, the surfer relays the whereabouts of the planet to Galactus. Galactus begins his journey to to feast on his latest meal.

Darkseid sits on his throne, while Thanos is on the look out for intruders. Suddenly a spaceship arrives near the atmosphere. Thanos quickly realizes Galactus is here to consume Apokolips. The Mad Titan makes Darkseid aware of the mammoth spaceship and the intruder inside of it. Darkseid immediately is ready for a battle. Galactus emerges from his ship as Thanos and Darkseid look up at the devourer of worlds.

Darkseid: My trusted, second in command, Thanos, has made me aware of why you come to Apokolips. You attempting to consume my planet if one of ignorance and stupidity. Be gone before i have you erased from reality.

Galactus: You have no power to threaten me with. This planet shall be as good as mine.

Darkseid: Cannot be threatened you say? Let's see if you can match the power of the Source. Thanos hand me my Mother Box! Take command of the other box Thanos. The devourer of worlds will have to think twice about showing up to Apokolips uninvited.

Thanos: After Galactus' downfall we shall take command of his technology and rule Earth once and for all.

Galactus: Mother Box's against the unbeatable Galactus? You puny ants make me laugh.

Galactus at 100%

vs.

Darkseid w/ Mother Box capable of boom tubes, energy transfer, gravitational constant change, and healing fatal injuries (100% knowledge of item)

and Thanos w/ Mother Box capable of same (80% Knowledge)

Even at 70% galactus should win this but darkseid and thanos should know that already. They would need somete planning to even attempt to fight him

Yes he is and over the years the horrible way that Galactus has been written really bothers me. At one time they had him so poorly represented that it was like if he even moved 10 feet he was too weak do do anything. I think one of the worst things they did was make him have to devour a planet every 30 days. This brings on a vast misrepresentation of his power itself. Really, this cosmic being has the power to level a solar system if he wanted to. He once could battle other beings like the Sphinx and the In Betweener and even took on Shuma Gorath at one time and Mephisto. There would be other reasons for him to have the power that he has outside of just being a cosmic garbage disposal. He never has anything that happens with him anymore to give back to the universe and explain his role a bit better. So badly written that liking this character, it's just hard to watch.

People like Thanos and Darkseid are powerful just no way near the level of someone like this. The main reason people don't seem to get it is because of how rarely Galactus is used. Out of all the cosmic beings in the MU he is seen the most and that still doesn't mean you will see him more than once a year if he's even used in any of the stories.

Thats okay, its not that different but this is an even bigger stomp for Galactus. 70% Galactus would have won easily,100% is overkill.

Let's think about this. These two have the intelligence to 1 up Galactus. The Motherbox would have to be just a part of the plan. I'm not saying they'd beat him in an outright fight, but like in the Silver Surfer/Green Lantern crossover, when Galactus tried to eat Apokolips, Darksied let him do it only for Galactus to find out that the planet was already dead. Galactus got mad and left. I see something like that happening here so I'll go on an vote for Darkseid and Thanos.

Galactus has cosmic awareness higher than any of them, Thanos took a few licks from Big G, but if he wanted to he could destroy him.

Darkseid's powers are useless as Big G is not influenced by chaos and order (says so in the Origins of Galactus) he is beyond this universe and well he can eat them literally haha

Shake me puts up the fight, but then go to the fight and edit your set up there. You have several days to do so

Decent set-up, BGJ, but the only way Darkseid and Thanos have a chance here is if they already had a plan in mind long before Galactus came to Apokolips.

To address bro Leroy's concerns: The Setup plain puts Seid and Thanos in a corner. Realistically, they would know 'eons' before something the magnitude of Galactus shows up, but per the setup, well, he's home for dinner without an invitation. Now, next in line to this scenario, Seid and Thanos' victory lies in a consolation win:

A hasty exit is of course, in order, but they will leave traceable signatures with which to see Galactus' course next. They will get back to him, and outsmart him, eventually. But this fight, is as good as gone. Plus, Seid has been known to 'forfeit' his belongings in interest of greater pursuits, an idea that will click in his head instantly the moment he sees Galactus.

Galactus for the win here.

In the comic a starving Galactus easily beats Darkseid

Guest Entropy.

I'm going along with those that have suggested that Galactus will mop the floor with an unprepared DarkSeid/Thanos. This is a Thanos who's sworn fealty to Darkseid, which suggests that he's nowhere near the power level he once possessed through the Infinity Gauntlet (the only thing that might put him on par with Galactus). There's nothing saying Darkseid has anything of the kind at his disposal presently; there's no precedent for it, either. Therefore, this fight goes squarely to Galactus; though what would be appetizing to him about Apokolips in the first place is beyond me...

Thanos would never bow. Even if it were him by himself against all the armies of Apokalips and Darkseid, he still would not bow. I have issue with you making him look so weak. That said, a 100% full powered Galactus takes this. How could he not?

Thanos would never bow for one! That him wayyyyyy out of character and two galactus STOMPS beyond belief. Do you know what a 100 percent big g can do? Think about it like this. He made silver surfer with a small fraction of power!!!!!!! And no they won't "outsmart him" without tons of planning and i mean years. Most of the time when big g is used its with P.I.S. because he could have sent endless waves of heralds to conquer earth EASILY

Sorry bro. Not accepting your PIS argument. Fact: Galactus has BEEN OUTSMARTED, BEATEN and OUTCLASSED BY LESSER (FF). If I give any tandem the chance against him, solely on the context, and based on past experience and history, its Thanos and Seid. Your statement 'they won't outsmart him with tons of planning and I mean years' goes against history, and feats. Sorry, they WILL BEAT HIM ANOTHER TIME THEY MEET. Galactus at the core, is Gallen, a being with fallibility', hence Kirby's statement years ago, that he could make mistakes and has. Thanos has history with him, and knows him, and coupled with Seid, I will give them a chance.

I am not saying they are winning this match. They will lose this fight, and escape, leaving Apokilips, solely because they have no time to develop a contingency. He is upon them. Galactus will trounce here. Another time, and another meet, like I suggested in my earlier post will be different. They will in fact, track him. and somehow, dupe him into devouring something he is not supposed to. He is composed of 'energies'. They play with that card like the back of their hand. No, not accepting there is no way they beat him. Accepting they lose here, but you seem to be only (along with a few other bros.) pushing the envelope a bit too much. As for your points about the heralds, it is common opinion, the most outstanding is Surfer, a being stated (like Sentry and a few other Marvel characters) as having powers over the top, but little to show for it and a whole lot of excuses when it comes to fallibility. Sorry, history, and feats and opponent quality does not illustrate either, how the 'heralds' will definitely trounce Seid alone, leave alone Seid and Thanos.

In a capsule: We get the point, Galactus wins this match. Another meet, might be different, and that is purely speaking published history-wise, feat-wise, more than anything, that speaks volumes.
