What horrific creatures will the two evil scientists create this time? Arnim Zola: Ha ha! At last! I have created the ultimate weapon to destroy Captain America and the Avengers! MODOK: Ha ha! At last! I have created the ultimate weapon to destroy Captain America and the Avengers! Coincidently, both of them have made the same invention at the same time. A blob-like creature with a trans-dimensional portal in their stomachs. But where does that portal lead? Meanwhile, the Avengers are fighting off a bunch of Hydra soldiers. Iron Man: Steve! Thor! Let's do that special team combo thing together! Captain America: Alright! Captain America throws his shield, while Iron Man fires a Unibeam and Thor throws his hammer. The resulting explosion knocks out every Hydra soldier in the area. Hawkeye: Phew! Now that was awesome! Iron Man: Look out! Hawkeye: Huh? Waargh! Hawkeye gets eaten by one of the creatures. Iron Man, Wasp, Cap, Hulk, Thor, Black Panther and Ant-Man start beating the hell out of the blob-thing, but to no avail. The creature then devours the rest of the Avengers. The creature, having completed it's mission, starts spuelching back to it's master, Arnim Zola, but is blocked by another blob creature that looks exactly the same as him, except it's is being accompanied by MODOK. MODOK: ALright, let's kick some Avenger ass, Blob! Wait, where are they? (MODOK notices Arnim Zola's Blob) Ah, let me guess! Someone else has copied my idea and created another Blob creature! Well it's a shame he was too much of a coward to show his face! Because then I would have kicked his ass aswell! Arnim Zola's Blob starts squelching off into the distance, with MODOK and his Blob not far behind! Arnim Zola's Blob makes it back to Zola's lab. Arnim Zola: It worked! Ha ha! Now the Avengers are out of the way, nothing can stop me! MODOK: Except me, Zola! Arnim Zola: MODOK! You copied my idea! MODOK: No, you copied my idea! Blob! Eat him! Arnim Zola: Blob! Eat him! Both blobs eat eachothers creators. Zola and MODOK both find themselves falling through a portal into an alternate dimension. MODOK: Looks like we've both been transported to the same place! Arnim Zola: Oh no! It looks like the blobs are eating other people and sending them here aswell! People and superheroes start randomly falling out of the sky. Arnim Zola: The creatures were designed to take us to this alternate dimension, where everyone went insane and killed eachother till there was nobody left! It will eventually drive these people insane aswell! MODOK: Well, now there are no blobs to fight our battles for us, I guess we better finish this fight ourselves! Arnim Zola: No, MODOK! You're getting affected by the insanity! We can't fight! We have to work together to stop this! Aaargh! MODOK fires a laser at Zola, sending him flying. Arnim Zola: Well, if that's how you're gonna be, then I guess I'll have to beat it out of you! MODOK: Bring it on! So, which freaky, big-headed scientist wins? Marvel Man Posted June 2, 2012 Share Posted June 2, 2012 Heh. Entertaining set up. I really enjoyed it, plus seeing someone try to use more obscure characters like MODOK or Zola is always a plus. I'll give you a B. As for this match, Zola isn't that good of a hand to hand fighter if I remember correctly. Meanwhile, MODOK has some mental energy blast thing going on.
