Clouds were strewn across the sky, covering the sun's brilliance in a white blanket of moisture. A slight breeze from the east. Not too humid. The animals were very active today; the woods were teeming with life, More wildlife condensed in a single area than seemed possible. And they were jittery. Laurent sniffed the air. Nothing stood out. His ears picked up no heartbeat, besides that of animals, but he could hear footsteps. Those of a human. Beside him, James crouched, eyes wide with anticipation. Victoria stood aways behind; slowly she came up on Laurent's right. James, twitched, pointed, and breathed: "There she is!" Laurent picked out a young woman making her way through the trees. Her face displayed no emotion. Her nearly skintight crimson leather outfit she wore hinted at a great figure. Her face, as Laurent saw from nearly a hundred yards away, was unblemished, even colored, perfect. Blond haired, and blue eyed. She walked upright, and proper, bordering on robotic. She strangley smelled metallic. Laurent looked at both James and Victoria, noted the hunger in their eyes, sighed, and nodded: They could all use a quick snack. She turned toward them then, and seemed to notice them, even at this distance. James stood, and along with Laurent and Victoria, went towards his next meal.-- Okay.
