xLEGACYx Posted June 8, 2012 Share Posted June 8, 2012 Hulk was on his journey back to Earth. Back so he could make the ones who sent him away pay. Navigating his hsip he sailed through space. Suddenly lights flashed and sirens wailed, the ship pitched to the side knocking Hulk off balance temperarily. As he regained his footing, looking out of the viewport he saw a wormhole begin to open. Trying to adjust his course, Hulk began to hit the controls. As he veered away a comet came into view and his only choice was to gun the engines and fly through. Feeling the force of the engines Hulk braced himself on the console. With a bright flash it was all over. Hulk's ship emerged into space and a familiar blue and green planet floated in space. A slight smirk grew on the green giants face. He assumed everything had turned out fine. Locating the coordinates that would lead him to where New York City should be. As Hulk's ship came rocketing to Earth he saw what looked like a ruined space station still orbiting the planet. Streaking through the sky he came crashing down to Earth into the city. Leveling buildings the ship came to a screeching halt. People scattered but still lingered to see what would happen next. Suddenly the hatch depressurized sending mist into the air. Without warning the hatch burst open, flying from its hinges. A roared emminated from the space craft that echoed through the city. Some of the self proclaimed "heros" of the city began to gather. Then with a thundering explosion Hulk ripped apart the ship emerging into the streets. As the Hulk rose to his full height from his kneeled position people gawked at the beings sheer size. Hulk: "I demand that Tony Stark, Reed Richards, Stephen Strange, and Black Bolt face me. These cowards sent me away but I have returned and I demand vengence!" Th super powered beings disregarded the Hulk's comments and began to attack. Blasting, punching, zapping, flatout attacking in everyway possible but no one seemed to be able to phase him. Then the Hulk reached out grabbing a man clad in black with a red cape by the head. The other heros gazed in horror as the Hulk crushed the man's skull effortlessly. Another being flew in close and was swatted away crashing into a nearby building. News coverage had begun covering the attack on New York. Sitting in the darkness of his cave, Bruce Wayne watched silently knowing what he must do but trying to find another option. He had sworn he would never ask for his help again but he could see no other option. Bruce hacked his way into the communications in Clark's Fortress in the barren radioactive wastelands of what used to be Kansas. Bruce began calling Clark's name but it wasn't until he called the kryptonian by his true name that he finally answered. Bruce: "Kal-El, I know you can hear me! Don't pretend your not listening! I swore to myself I would never ask for your help again but I have run out of options." Kal-EL: "What do you want?" Bruce: "There is no one else I can think of that has the ability to stop this new threat. An enormous being is ransacking New York demanding to speak with beings that I have never heard of and I know of everyone. I know you have exiled yourself but now is time for you to return. YOU are the only one powerful enough to stop him. What would Lois say if she could see you today!?" Bruce Wayne suddenly cut the vid screen leaving Kal-El to sit and think in the darkness of his fortress. He had left the world behind because they no longer wanted his style of justice. They wanted the more ruthless heros now. So he sat and contemplated what to do. Those last words that Bruce had said struck home. He knew what he must do. He knew that he had to stop this monster before anyone else got hurt. The Hulk was utterly destroying any opposing force. A hero in a mech suit hovered above the green monster firing rifle rounds rapidly to no effect. Hulk reached up grabbing the mech by the foot slamming it into the ground pounding away on the battle suit Hulk roared in anger demanding to see the ones that sent him away. Reaching down he ripped away the chest plate of the robot revealing the human inside. Rearing back his fist he began to bring it down when it was suddenly stopped. To Hulk's surprise his arm was jerked to the side and he saw a rippling red cape as the man's fist collided with his face. The punch sent hulk sailing into a nearby bus parked in the street. Making his way out of the wreckage he stood in defiance of the red and blue man. Reporter: "I don't believe what I am seeing! Its Superman! Superman has returned!" Guest skadoosh Posted June 8, 2012 Share Posted June 8, 2012 I agree, KC Superman was completely invulnerable to everything Hulk can throw at him, and he's got plenty of other abilities to utilize. This is one fight in which the Hulk's strength, even as World War Hulk, simply sin't enough to beat his opponent. Is there some expansion/tie-in series about him that I missed? Feat-wise, he accomplished absolutely nothing that can touch even (pre-52) mainstream Supes. EDIT: Heh. In addition, I've been doing some snooping, and I believe that the Superman shown above may actually be Earth-22 Superman, not KC Superman. Do you have any material for New-52 KC Supes? AVP vs The Terminator Posted June 11, 2012 Share Posted June 11, 2012 What do you mean, they aren't canon for the purposes of this fight? Earth-22 is the Kingdom Come universe. DC retconned a few things and inserted it into the main multiverse as Earth-22. I don't think KC Supes has appeared since the reboot. Not 100% on that though. Byrne-era Superman was unmoved by Doomsday when he was ready and braced himself for the hit - it's a Superman trademark. I'm not convinced KC Supes is all that much more powerful than our own - definitely above him but the extent of the gap is not clear. The better question is how exactly is KC Supes going to put down this particular Hulk? Breaking his neck won't work for more than a few seconds. Punching basketball sized holes clean through his torso barely slow him down. Straight punching at this level just isn't going to cut it against this particular Hulk's Bugs Bunny-level healing factor. KC Supes can win by BFR but otherwise he is eventually getting overwhelmed. It's shown right there in the scan that KC Superman is far more powerful. Hercules easily slapped regular Superman aside, and KC Supes wasn't phased in the least. baneblade Posted June 11, 2012 Share Posted June 11, 2012 The Kingdom Come Superman: - Withstood engineered bomb specifically designed to take out heroes, within direct range- Punched the current earth Superman so hard that he couldn't stop himself, and KC Superman realised what he did, and flew over to stop him before he landed on anything- Jay/Flash stated KC is as fast as Wally.- Withstood Starman's full gravitational powers, along with a body load of JASers and easily shrugged them off- Tore a black hole as her flew into 'our' reality.Of course, all this is before the 52 reboot. Current Superman, and probably some other 'over powered' versions just don't hold anything to up this guy. Dude was kicking major booty, and he doesn't joke around as much as the regular Supes does. Add in the fact that WWHulk doesnt know who he's up against, and it's game over. Sorry Hulk. And much like Juggs in that previous match, Supes can deal with WWH almost before the latter knew what happened, and several other DC heroes could do the same.
