Confession FPT Posted July 2, 2012 Share Posted July 2, 2012 CBUB Chain Story: Part 4 Lets review shall we? People die all the time, especially in Khazan City. But everything went to shit the second the Man of Steel kicked the bucket. The death of Batman was just a grave precursor to the horrors to come. Seriously, what were people going to do without Superman and Batman? Even the City of Heroes felt unrest. The best of them was gone. If someone could kill the World’s Finest, they could kill anyone, right? Who was strong enough to do that, anyway? Villians began to rejoice! There were riots, they weren’t as afraid anymore. Not to mention the bloodlust of the heroes looking to defend the honor of their fallen icon. Mini wars in the streets where taking place in the streets and heroes were dropping like flies. It was utter chaos. The Sinister Six’s escape from prison had been executed, Dr. Doom and an elite group of villains had been going on a hero killing rampage, the X-Men were slaughtered, Iron Man, Dare Devil, and Nightwing and innumerable others all fell. It really was a bleak time in Khazan history. And it was only going to get worse… “Hurmm…†Rorschach pondered as he examined the body of Superman. Where a large crowd of concerned heroes had once gathered to mourn the man of steel, had dispersed in terror, leaving Clark Kent’s body lying in the street. Rorschach examined lifted the Kryptonian’s head with his gloved hand, and gazed through the thin hole that went through his skull. Defiantly a kryptonite bullet. The person who did this didn’t use any power of any sort. For all he knew a mortal could have done this. He nodded his head in approval. Last time he tried to stop a god, it didn’t work. But someone had figured how to kill this god. Rorschach was determined to meet the person responsible for this. But he wasn’t sure that when he met him, if he was going to smash his skull in, or shake his hand. * * * War Journal: June 6th Son of a bitch…Its only been two *edit*-ing days… I’ve seen a lot of bad things in my life, but this is one of the worst battle grounds I’ve ever been apart of. I’m way out of my league here, it’s a miracle I’ve survived this long. With people much stronger than me being systematically taken down, I only fear that I may be next. If I’m even on the radar of the people responsible… Not only do we have to worry about the mysterious force wiping out the heroes, we have Dr Doom rampaging across the city, fighting everyone in sight. He’s not afraid of repercussions anymore, its almost like he just doesn’t give a shit. I’ve stumbled across the dead bodies of Daken, Starkiller, and Nightwing. Nightwing’s death particularly disturbs me. I’m no better then him, and I’m still standing…I’m going to follow the carnage, wherever it takes me. I’ll find the source of this and I will punish the man who started this. ***Punisher closed his war journal and slung his machine gun over his shoulder. He looked for foot prints in the blood to see where the victor had went. The man who survived this fight had to of flown away from this struggle. He heard very obvious footsteps come up from behind him, he aimed his weapon at the approaching figure, who answered by putting his hands up mockingly, “Hurmmâ€. “Rorschach, you crazy sunnova bitch, I almost shot you right between the eyes!†Punisher put down his weapon relieved, but still pissed. “Like you did with Superman?†Rorschach asked, not putting down his hands. “What are you talking about? I idolized Superman…who doesn’t?†he trailed off. “I examined Superman’s body. His was shot through the skull with this Kryptonite bullet,†he held up the glimmering green bullet, “Not Kryptonite pointed, fully 100 Kryptonite.†“Is…that even possible?†Punisher took the bullet and examined it. “I didn’t think so, but your arms dealer, Microchip? He was the only man I could think of who could developed it and you, being the only one stupid enough to do it.†“Why would I kill Superman?†Punisher began to protest. “And Batman,†Rorschach corrected. “WHY WOULD I DO EITHER OF THOSE THINGS!?†Punisher blew up. “Hurmm, that bugged me too. You have the capability, but no reason to do so. Plus, not even you can take on the X-Men by yourself.†“The X-Men?!†“Even Wolverine, dead,†Rorschach. There was silence. “I beat some information out of Stilt Man,†Rorschach broke the silence, “He had been bragging a few weeks ago that he got an offer to work for this new big player in town, but no one knows who he is. Is it a coincidence that this new mastermind moves into town and five days later heroes are dieing?†Punisher could not answer. “I found our old buddy Stilt Man, recently attacked and fading, he was able to give me a location, and I just saw a Green Lantern flying in that direction.†“I don’t play well with others,†Punisher began to turn away. “Neither do I, Frank! But the supers being targeted and its up to normal guys like us to save them for us! You and me are probably pretty far down on their hit list, so we have to hit them now!†Punisher was shocked by his words, “How the hell did he know my real name?!†he thought. He didn’t say anything and began walking. Rorschach followed and let out a smug, “Hurm.†*** There was a voice in Hit Monkey’s head, and not the usual voices he heard. “I know you feel guilty buddy, but remember, it had to be done.†It kept saying over, and over. He didn’t know why he did it, or why he was on the side he was on. He wasn’t a villain, he just wanted the voice out of his head. The voice went away when it did what it asked. And right now it was telling him to do one last thing: Kill Rorschach. “He’s too close. I’ll leave you alone, I promise. I promise†As he jumped from building to building in this vacant side of the city, he was barely able to see two figures walk down the street, packing weapons. One with a white face. Rorschach. He aimed both of his guns at his target, hesitated for a split second, and fired as soon as the voice in his head screamed “DO IT NOW!†The scream startled him and he missed by a small margin. The two on the street took cover. “Oh you stupid monkey!†the voice berated him, “You really *edit*-ed up now!†***The two anti-heroes hid behind a busbench and loaded their weapons, “Did you see that!†Rorschach yelled over the new hail of gun fire hailing down on them, “That was no ordinary bullet.†“What?†Punisher yelled over the loud noises behind him. “It was green, Frank,†“Are you trying to tell me Superman was killed by a monkey?†“There has to be another layer to this, someone on top…hurmm…†“Quit pondering and help me kill this monkey!†“We’ll kill it after he tells us whats going on,†Rorschach corrected. Punisher was frustrated, “HE’S A MONKEY! HE CAN’T TALK!†***The voice was still screaming at Hit Monkey as he came in for a closer target, “You are so lucky, I’m so forgiving, you damn, dirty, ape. I’m sending you some friends now, even though their efforts are needed elsewhere.†Hit Monkey was now worried. This was getting too deep, he didn’t want to meet what type of people he’d have to team with. He didn’t have long to ponder, his new “buddies†were for very long. Soon after the Sinister Six came charging down the street. Doctor Octopus, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Vulture, Sandman, and Mysterio, all rushing towards our heroes. “Oh *edit*!†Punisher roared as he saw the approaching villains, “We’re outgunned!†“Hey!†Rorschach shoved him on the shoulder, “If we’ve learne anything these past couple of days, its that even average joes like us can beat a super. These guys are small time, its not like we have to worry about anyone ridiculasly over powered.†As soon as he said this, Dr Doom, Magneto, Red Hulk, and Ultron flew over them in the same direction as Green Lantern was going. “…Ok if we get past these guys we’ll have to worry about some ridiculously over powered guys, but let’s worry about them later,†he concluded as he drew his grappling hook gun, “you ready?†“Hurmm†Punisher nodded and popped up to face his enemies, guns ablaze. Confession FPT Posted July 2, 2012 Author Share Posted July 2, 2012 K guys, here's the shake down: I tried to bring a whole bunch of elements from everyone's else's part of the story, and began to unify all the plots. I tried to draw as much from each installment as I could, I tried not to disappoint. So, for arguments sake, lets just say Punisher has unlimited ammunition to helpd him combat the combined forces of the current Sinister Seven. He has many abandoned cars and objects to hide behind and brought many powerful weapons to even the odds against super powered people. Rorschach has his grappling gun and of course uses his environment to his advantage. He will eventually come one-on-one with Hit Monkey in this fight. So is this incarnation of the Sinister Seven too much for these two lovable bad-asses? What will happen next week? I have no idea! So feel free to vote, comment, rate, debate, and stay crazy! An "A" from me (and good idea in unifying the plot points). As for the match, Spider Man was once able to beat the Sinister Six without his powers, so this match isn't a complete stomp (of course, this was back in the 60s when Spidey could get away with trapping Sandman in a vacuum cleaner and no one thought that was stupid). And while the anti-heroes could maybe take the Sinister Six, with Hit Monkey, it's simply too much. Hit Monkey is way too fast, and way too skilled for Rorscharch. Punisher could maybe take him, but that would be a big maybe. Add in guys like Electro and Sandman, and this match is over. Team 2 ftw. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hmm hard match however it seems to me both men on Team One already know if someone is killing off powerful heroes the normal ones like them have to be ready. Punisher will probably have some heavy weapons to back him up and he killed off a crapload of villains during Civil War. With Rorschach to back him up he could possiblely win. Ock, Kraven, Vulture, and Mysterio can be killed with weapons. Punisher carries rocker launchers, grenades, and a whole bunch of powerful weapons. Ock can be killed with a bullet to the head, Team One is too smart for Mysterio's tricks so he can be killed, Vulture is a non-factor, and Kraven can be killed with bullet to the head. Sandman can be taken out with water from a fire hydrant or if you simply put him on fire. Both men are capable of this. Electro is the only problem but since there in a city a fire hydrant will be nearby. Use water on him and that pretty much screws him up. Hell they might not need to do that. Electro is still vunerable because he can't cover his entire body in electricity unless he gets a serious power boost which he doesn't have here. Electro can be killed with a bullet to the head as well. I figured I would bat for Team One since I do think if they play it out right they can win. The fact he held his own at all during any portion of the numerous fights is probably a testament to the ridiculousness of 1960s comic books. This set up, though I could say is not the type of writing I usually enjoy (as in, it's not 10k words long per page), I can say that what was here was really fun to read.
