Salem Zinoviev was feeling very uncomfortable. Sitting in a club full of pretend vampires does that to a genuine supernatural creature. He had only agreed to come to support his girlfriend and though he was always impressed by her talent with a base and vocals but his fellow club patrons seemed to be unconcerned mainly caught up in their pick up lines and discussions on the latest vamp themed psuedo- porn for tweens novel. Some were mocking the band. Salem was annoyed but unsuprised. "What can you expect from this bunch. They all seemed to be between 13 and 18. "Raised on club tunes and disney pop. Rock had seen better days". He almost regretted thinking that. He meant it of course but these types of thoughts always made him feel old. His forty-sixth birthday was coming up though he didn't look much older than anyone else in the club. (bar the the handful of forty somethings with a lack of shame he had noticed) "Fangirls" He thought. Followed by "The downsides of immortality and dating a younger women rolled into one this place is."

He looked at Somara on the stage again. Gazing at the beautiful twenty-three year-old, dimension jumping mutant he thought "You deserve better than this." But these were tough times for unsighned rock bands.

Salem's focus was drawn away from his lover suddenly. He smelled the unmistakeble stench of a vampire. Most vampires thought these kinds of places were insulting but others saw them as ideal hunting grounds. Salem knew this as he sprung up and scanned the crowd. As he honed in on the the vamp he also knew that no vampire approaches a teenage girl with good intentions. The parasitic pederest would look at home in playgirl, she couldn't have been more than seventeen. Her face gave off no expression, hypnotised maybe. Salem approached the couple and stood to their side knowing the pretty boy predator wouldn't smell him. He had long ago learned to suppress his scent to stalk monsters like this one. His hearing cut through the noise of the club and he heard the vamp say, "This place is rediculous we should go." The girl agreed without her face moving at all. "Definately hypnotised." Salem thought as the vamp led her out the back into the alley.

If he didn't act that girl was dead. Most creatures of the night stay out of each others business but Salem had always had a crusader streak. The main reason he had sought out the power of lycanthropy was that he was such a comic book geek as a human. He sprang out the back entrance landing silently but the vamp spun around. Had it heard him, Salem didn't know or have time to care as the vamp shoved the girl aside and charged him. The vamp had suprising speed but was sidestepped and was welcomed with a clothesline that put the wrestleing greats to shame. The vamp was knocked off his feet, crashed and skidded to the side of the wall. He sprang up to meet a transformed opponent ready to rip the gelled hair out of his head and then go crazy on the rest of him. Salem snarled thinking "This night just got exciting."

The werewolf probably wins after a decent fight. Much as i don't like the franchise, Ed is a pretty capable vampire, and could give the relatively weak Underworld werewolf a bit of a fight before going down. I think he's faster, but the werewolf is probably stronger, and far more ruthless, and i don't think Ed could handle fighting an opponent that is genuinely trying to eat his throat, and not making silly speeches or being a stroppy teenager.

I didnt mean to have my first fight be an anti-twilight thing but it just ind of came to me first. I agree Edward is unbearable but competant but a powerful aggressive opponent should be able to take him. ironically salem my own creation has the same motivation as him, protect deadpan mcgee as awise man calls her.

I'm not sure he's that physically superior, and even if he is, he isn't exactly a smart fighter. Not that the werewolf is smart, but it's bloody aggressive and wont stop trying to kill him until one of them is dead. Ed is more likely going to try to run away, or talk to the werewolf, than fight it straight away.

Any werewolf worth his claws can tear through rock or steel so Edwards skin wont be much of a defence as for telepathy: how much do u think about your moves before u make them especially if you are a feral beast with no reason to fear pain.

Rock or steel =/= diamond. Wait, hang on... is there ever any explanation as to why Twilight werewolves are able to tear up vampires so easily?

All in all, it depends on whether we're going by pure feats, or by stated capabilities.

By pure feats, Edward only has 2 real strength feats. 1. Uprooting a small tree with one hand. And 2. Stopping a truck with one hand, leaving an imprint in the front of the truck.

The only really impressive thing about those feats, is that both were done with no real effort, which means that the strength required to do them, is no where near his max.

On the other hand, I can't really remember any impressive strength feats by the Underworld Lycans either.

If we are going by stated capabilities, then Edward is so much stronger that it's not even funny. Twilight Vampires being stated as being "thousands of times stronger than any human." and capable of lifting "several hundred times their own weight". Which by the first statement would put his strength at a minimum of 920 tons. That is so much beyond the capabilities of the Underworld Lycans that it's bordering on ridiculous.

And his durability is on the same general scale, since only other vampires, or weres, are able to harm a vampire, and that is due to their strength.

If the Werewolf is up in the same general strength level(i.e. if we're going purely by feats), then he might win. Otherwise, he has no chance of winning, whatsoever.

I feel everyone jumps on that "we are manly men who hate Twilight" bandwagon, whenever one of these matches are made. I've never seen the movies, so I have no opinion; but clearly, from what I've seen here, they seem to be underestimated quite a bit.

Generally, when it comes to Twilight(and a few other 'universes') people seem to be incapable of setting aside their bias.

what should mean more what is stated or what we see? As for bias well i like to think that even as a woman i would hate twilight just for being stupid. I also like to think that i am objective enough to call a fight down the line but i often give myself reason to doubht. in many vampire stories they are rediculusly overpowered but are stupid enough to take fatal hits.

at least men dont give their porn oscars and twilight is as sexist as the come. the mormon undertones are as laughable as the emotional immaturity but i really dont care at this point shit exists in the world. Now r thre any comments on my set up.

1000 x human strength for Twilight vampires? Wow, that causes a lot of plot problems.. like (Ok, Ive seen one of the Twilight movies, I forget which) when Edward was going to kill himself by revealing that he was a vampire to these vatican soldiers. How would they accomplish that feat? That would be like the Juggernaut committing suicide by having cops shoot him.

Either way the set-up was pretty good, except for a few minor spelling errors (such as base vs bass guitar) and the fact that you left the whole default intro thing in there. I gave it a 'B'.

Oh and Edward destroys the lycan effortlessly considering his speed and WTF strength levels.

Pretty much this. I also gave the same grade. Although, I gotta tell ya, I probably didn't even read it that closely. It's hard to read a wall of text, like that...
