But werewolfs or lycans have no such thing. The underworld versions of these mythical creatures were cool but not all that strong, it would be a little tough for a lycan to actually push or stop a moving car, but edward did it with one hand while not even paying attention. The twilight vamps are just too strong imo. Now if we were talking about the lycan at the end of the newest underworld, that would be an awesome fight, and I dont know the outcome. As for the people saying he wouldnt want to fight, yall didnt read the books. This isnt father cullen who doesnt want to hurt anyone, this is edward. When fights come around he is pretty ferocious, and his mind reading abilities would just put it away. Sorry about the wall of text, Im just an avid fan of these two mythilogical creatures. Also I dont judge by the reasoning behind a vampire book, so I read and enjoyed the twilight saga multiple times as well as other books related to such creatures. How would they accomplish that feat? That would be like the Juggernaut committing suicide by having cops shoot him. Oh and Edward destroys the lycan effortlessly considering his speed and WTF strength levels.Sorry to double post, but I dont see an edit button, maybe I should make an acc. Anyway, I wanted to point out that he was going to show himself, cus the instant he did he knew that a few of the volturi would be waiting to tackle him back into the alley and tear him apart. It was explained in the movie briefly and more so in the books. That is their city, they hide there, and keep vampires from causing a scene. Now that I think of it I cant remember if it was ever actually stated that their skin was diamond, but they can punch through rocks and not crack their hands. Of course diamond hard skin should make him immune to those but Stephanie Meyer's knowledge of physics is not the best apparently. Not factors in this fight though. And explosives and flamethrowers are not nearly enough to take out a twilight vamp, Unless your talking about like carpet bombing him, or Inc air strike, your gonna have a hard time catching him with an inc grenade. That still wouldnt be enough, they have to sit there and burn in the fire, he will not be standing in your flamethrower, infact a flamethrower is so slow he would snap your neck from behind before it went 2 feet from the nozzle.
