This match takes place in Young Justice episode "Drop Zone" Episode with a new twist...........

And no Young Justice either....................................

Instead of the Cobra organization capturing Bane and his crew, it's the Illuminati, another secret organization that is determinate to rule the world and invent advanced ideas and weapons. In this match Bane enters the chamber were he is about to fight his secret Illuminati opponet. Once Bane enters he only sees a chained Gargoyles stone statue. Then suddenly the gate closes and Bane is then given his special Venom injector arm module device.

And replying in the Spanish Language, Bane says,

Bane:"You are giving me my most powerfulest weapon?"

And Andreth the captain of the Illuminati guards replies back in Spanish:"Why yes, my leaders want this to be an interesting event!"

Still in Spanish..

Bane:"And just who am I going to fight?" "Surely not that chained gargoyle stone statue?"

Still in Spanish..

Andreth:"No not the statue, but the monster within the statue?"

Still in Spanish..

Bane:"Huh?"

Still in Spanish..

Andreth:"Just wait for fourteen more minutes and you will see!"

And so Bane redirected his attention back at the chained gargoyle stone statue and then fourteen minutes later Bane and everybody witness Goliath's awakening.

Goliath:"ARRRRRRGGGGRRRGRGR!"

Still in Spanish..

Bane:"Wow!"

Goliath:"You Illuminati cowards!" "What are you going to do with me now!?!"

And from a viewing box, the Illuminati Master replies:"Why Monster, you should be honored!" "You get to help perform an experiment and your execution as well!" "Yes we wish to test Bane's Special Venom super formula out and you are the subject!" "And while you fight Bane our Illuminati Researchers and Scientists will be monitoring the results." "So lets start the match!"

Suddenly the chains fell off Goliath and his eyes glowed bright and he made a fearsome roar. And Bane activated his venom injector and became stronger. Then Goliath lunges at Bane.

And the Illuminati Research and Goliath's Fight for his freedom began!

Oh, I could just kick my own ass right now... <_>

This was going to be one of my next matches, but I just take way too long to write them out. Aw, well...

Anyways, pretty good match, L.I.C., though Goliath and Bane are a little out of character. Good thing Bane's using an enhanced version of venom, or Goliath would be the stronger combatant. Their durability may be close to even, though, and Bane is more skilled and has the venom's slight healing factor. Bane may eventually take this in a tough battle.

Gonna hafta go with Bane. After all, he's the man that broke the bat. He's as strong as goliath, maybe even stronger, and definitely more skilled.

Actually, now that I look at my last post, I realize that I downplayed Goliath a bit. Goliath is actually smart enough in combat to possibly discover that the venom feed is what gives Bane his power and destroy it. He's also a good enough fighter and has a strong enough will to possibly fight it out with Bane until the residual venom wears off.

This is why I was writing a match with these two. By giving a Bane a good enough boost with enhanced venom, this is a very good matchup that could go either way.

That's okay......You can do the Thailog VS Bane match.

This ^

Goliath is definitely an experienced and smart enough combatant to figure out that the Venom is what enhances Bane, and that he should stop the feed, and he's strong, fast, tough and skilled enough to give Bane a damn good fight. Although he isn't as skillful as Bane in close-combat, Goliath has the advantage of two extra limbs to fight with (his wings), and his claws and tail further complicate things for Bane, so the fight is pretty even, and, i think, comes down to whether Goliath can disrupt Bane's Venom supply before Bane, eventually, and after a brutal fight, defeats him in close combat.

He can only glide? Well, it's been a while since I saw the show. I used to have this board game that went with a VHS tape that you used to play the game, damn I feel old.

In that case I'm giving it to Bane. Goliath's best chances to win is ripping out the venom. If he could fly it wouldn't be as hard as to glide and pull them out.

Goliath can still disrupt Bane's Venom supply, but not easily. Flying would be better than gliding, but being airborne at all is a big advantage in a fight like this.

Eh, gliding you are at the mercy of a few factors. Flying you are in more control. Bane is going to let Goliath just swoop above him and yank his venom. At least if he could fly he'd me more maneuverable.

I know, like i said, flying > gliding, obviously, but it's still a useful advantage. If Goliath gets the chance, and stays airborne for long enough, he could land some nasty hits from above, and probably pull out the Venom tubes easier than in a toe-to-toe fight with Bane, but either way, it wont be easy for either of them.

There's actually a decent debate going on for this one! Makes me really wish I had gotten my story for this matchup in a lot sooner. :(

Maybe one day...

on the ground he'd get mauled.

Don't forget that Goliath's a decent fighter in his own right and has a tail to use. Even toe-to-toe, Bane's going to have a tough fight on his hands.

Make it anyway? Post it as a Rumble? I think you should do your own take on this match up somehow.

And Goliath also has his wings to use in close combat. Along with years of experience, fighting various foes, and his sheer physical prowess, etc, etc. Bane's having a hard time no matter what happens.

I'd place Bane as the superior martial artist. Goliath has more experience. With venom, Bane would be faster, and stronger. I see Bane's strength and superior fighting ability giving him the win.

Maybe mauled was a bit drastic when I think about it. I still see Bane taking this one.

I'll do it down the line, definitely. But making it concurrently or right after this one is going to look pretty redundant. Besides, this is a pretty good match here. I don't want to take away from it.

From what I've seen, gargoyle wings wouldn't be all that effective toe-to-toe against someone with comparable strength. Yeah, wings with digits at the tips can scratch someone, but they don't seem that strong compared to their other limbs. The membranes are proabably also fragile. I think that's why gargoyles often keep them out of the way in battle.

Faster, maybe, but not stronger. Bane, at most, even when berserked, has 3-ton strength. I figure Goliath, judging from what's shown in the cartoon, probably has max 4-5 ton strength. But Bane is using an enhanced form of venom in this match, so that's moot.

Fair enough, dude. Although, i don't think Bane is stronger, or at least, with Venom he might equal Goliath in strength.

True, make the match when you feel it's best. The Gargoyles have occasionally hit people with their wings, and while it's not as effective as a punch, it works well enough, and they often use them to defend themselves from small blasts and/or debris. Goliath's wings are useful, basically, as is his tail.

Are you kidding me, lol Goliath wins, he rips through metal doors, with his claws, you know those things that are pointy...one swipe and even if Bane blocks he gets cut, and as for him being faster meaning Bane, I doubt it, Goliath chases cars as well, and his powerful legs allow him to jump high enough and fast enough to be more than a glide, maybe a power glide as the force of his large body would not be light.

Bane at max that I seen is not that much, I mean he is a Batman villain, you know not very powerful(Edward Nigma, catwoman, etc)

I see this ending with slit tubes, flesh wounds and Goliath standing over him saying some Disney written speech about something boring.

While i agree that Goliath wins this, not as easily as you've stated, but still, i don't agree that a Goliath-speech could be boring. When a huge, winged Gargoyle, with decades of magical adventures behind him, and the voice of Keith David, speaks, it's bound to be awesome.
