He had just came back from the Dead or Alive tournament from which he had won. Afterwords he had decided to spend some time with his friends Jann Lee and Ayane. Ryu walked around his parent's home as he looked for his father. " Father I'm here! I received your message one of your men sent me that you wanted to speak with me." Ryu walked to his father's office where he did his most important work in private as he saw a letter on the table covered in blood. Ryu ran to the table quickly and snatched the letter up which had his name on it. Ryu pulled it out as looked at the blood with worry. " Oh father what has happened to you now." Ryu said this to himself worried as his father only left a letter covered in blood as a warning something had happened to him. Ryu opened the letter and read it. Dear Ryu, If you are reading this letter then I fear I may have very well fought my last battle. This letter means I have not returned from my life or death duel. If this is the case go to America my son and search for my friend Walter Smith. He will know what to do and help you there on your mission. Remember everything you were taught my son and know that now you are the new leader of the Hayabusa Clan. Love,Your FatherJoe Hayabusa Ryu closed his eyes as he fought the tears that wanted to come out. His father wouldn't want him to be weak and this was his moment to honor his father by being the man he wanted him to be. Ryu walked away as he left his house and made his way home to pack. " Tomorrow I will go to America to find this Walter Smith and do whatever mission my father had left for me. Then I will search the globe and find out what happened to him. This I promise to you my father and swear on it." A Week Later Ryu walked through Manhattan, New York as he was looking for the address of Walter that his father had gave him. He had been here for a week settling in and taking his time to survey America's greatest city he had heard about for years. He bought a apartment in lower Manhattan not far from all the action in Times Square. Ryu came up on a white and blue two store house as he walked up the steps to the door. Ryu went to ring the bell as he then noticed the door was slightly open. " Looks like someone beat me to him" Ryu pulled his dragon sword out as he slowly open the door and surveyed the inside the home. Ryu saw that the place had been ransacked and things were destroyed. Couchs had holes in theTVsike they had been shot up, tvs broken, the kitchen had broken dishware on the floor, clothes all over the place, and much more. Ryu moved through the apartment on alert in case there were any threats as he made his way up the stairs. " Hmm somebody was looking for something here Walter had obviously. Although no Walter here so either they took him or he fled before they could get him." Ryu came upon Walter's office as it had photos of his family and friends. Their were files everywhere on his desk and his filing cabinet was turned over on the floor. Ryu saw a file with his name on it as he picked it up off the desk. Ryu opened the file as it had informlineageon him regarding his dragon linege, his father, the clan, his mother, and more. " This man knew everything about us. Father would never let anyone have this much information. They must been good friends. It seems I now have to find out what happened to Walter. Something is going on here and I need answers" Screech! Ryu heard a noise outside as he ran to the window and saw Lex corpace off. The license plates read Lexcorp. " Well that is a start. It seems I will be visiting Lex Luthor and will be getting some answers...." Boom! A explosion went off in the house in the room next to him as Ryu was sent crashing out the window into the neighbor's yard. Ryu fell down on the grass as he got up in pain and quickly ran away from the house as it exploded behind him. " Message received. Looks like somebody doesn't want me looking for answers. Whoever it is made a terrible mistake." 3 Days Later Ryu walked through the streets of Metropolis as he looked around at the city. It had a Utopia feeling to it to a person like him. Ryu was close to Lex's building when screams could be heard. Ryu raced down the street as he passed the cars driving in a blur as in no time he reached the source of all the noise. Civilians were running scared invillainsts of direction as Ryu looked at odd villians destroying the city block as they beat the Teen Titans to near death in a savage battle that ripped through the city structures. Deathstroke: Hey I remember you. Your suppose to be dead. Ryu was checking on Robin's pulse who was still alive as he looked up to see Deathstroke walking toward him. Ryu: So your the poor guy I have to kill for trying to blow me up. Very big mistake you made. Although I won't kill you until I find out about your friend Lex Luthor. Deathstroke: Not a friend. Just hired to do get rid of you because my employer doesn't want you asking questions. I have some friends I brought along to help me. Funny they didn't tell me much about you. I don't need to know much because with the group I have assembled their is really nothing that can beat us. I'll kill you and go collect my money. Then I'll probably go find that nice friend of yours Walter. Ryu looked at Slade with intent and knew right away this was one foe who indeed had information he needed. Ryu: You should have done your research on me. Your not going to win this fight. I am going to defeat you and your friends. I will beat the information out of you if I need to. Then I will kill you for the dishonorable warriors that you all are. Deathstroke: Well then lets get this started. --------------------------------- Ryu Hayabusa vs Injustice League ( Deathstroke has formed his own team) DeathstrokeSolomon Grundy (Superman level)Red ArrowCheshireBane (He is on Venom) For Injustice this is before the new 52 Universe. Everyone has all their weapons, powers, and abilities. Ryu has to keep Deathstroke alive however he can kill the rest of Deathstroke's group as he doesn't need them. In the comics right before the new DC 52 Red Arrow had partnered up with Deathstroke when Slade formed his own team. It took place after the events of Cry for Justice. I just thought that Hayabusa had faced something comparable in Ninja Gaiden. But it looks like that's a negative. So. I'll even make it fair and say that they don't all pile up on him and Hayabuasa has some breathing room to tackle these guys in a semi-individual basis. Against such skilled foes, he might injure or kill Red Arrow and Cheshire. If he gets some time to concentrate and room to fight, he could do damage to Bane. But I don't think he'll get through Bane before somebody else jumps in and even if he gets out of that, Solomon Grundy is too far out of his league to fight. He saved the world on countless occasions, defeated all of the greater fiends, killed the fiend queen, killed the arch fiend, killed the arch fiend again when it came back even stronger because it was fused with hayabusas blood, and he won the second dead or alive tournament. The set-up was okay, but the writing quality could have been a lot better. A lot of the sentences were incredibly redundant ("Ryu walked away as he left his house and made his way home to pack." "This I promise to you my father and swear on it."), there were almost no commas where there should have been, a lot of the sentences were just confusing ( Couchs had holes in theTVsike they had been shot up, tvs broken, the kitchen had broken dishware on the floor, clothes all over the place, and much more"), and the grammar was overall poor (you used "their" a lot when you meant "there").
