Guest Odin
Captain America: Give it up Ultron! We know it was you who was teleporting those bombs to the different capitals around the world. Ultron: You may have defeated me today Avengers but i will return. Ultron then activates his worm hole device to escape when Ironman hits it with his unibeam. Ultron escapes through a random worm hole but his machine is destroyed. Ultron then ends up in a most peculiar of places the nevada desert. He scans for live and realives there is a small settelment 8 miles to the north. We then see Hal Jordan flying in a jet returning to the military base he left from. To hal jordans shock it is smoking and destroyed very different then it was the mere hour ago when he left. Hal Jordan then says his green Lantern oath sets down his jet and flys to the smoking military base. To Hals shock he sees a robot laying waste to the military base. Green Lantern: Stop right there mettallo! Ultron: Another meta human for me to kill. Green lantern then flys straight toward the metal monster to begin the battle. regular Green Lantern Hal Jordan vs Ultron with 50% adamantium body

C.T.
Ultron can fly...that move would only delay Ultron.
Guest skadoosh
How about the sun, then? Or a black hole?
C.T.
That wouldn't really work either. See, Ultron's body would be destroyed but as he is a computer, he can simply transfer himself to a new body. Of course GL could do that move until Ultron's out of bodies, then he's done. Assuming of course Ultron does nothing to stop GL.
Guest skadoosh
And assuming Ultron has enough bodies near enough to transfer himself into. Hal's got this, whatever happens.
Guest sirmethos
Or Hal could simply freeze time, leaving himself unaffected, and then dump Ultron in a black hole somewhere. Personally I'd go with the big one at the center of the galaxy, but that's just me.
leroypowell3
Everybody's saying Hal but I'm seeing Ultron beating him. This is the guy who fights the whole Avengers team. Ultron probably won't kill Jordan, but he can make him retreat and get help.
Guest skadoosh
Most of the Avengers don't compare to Hal, but i know what you mean. However, Ultron uses his intellect a lot, and his own powers, while wide-ranged and destructive, aren't as versatile or overall powerful as Hal's. But, wait, when did Hal learn to freeze time? Guest sirmethos
Uh, he has been able to do that since before Crisis. He has done it a few times post-crisis as well(in a re-telling of a pre-crisis story, among others). I'd dig up a scan for you, but my ADD is currently acting up -.- and I'm having enough trouble just keeping concentration long enough to respond. I think Bobisbeast might have some scans of it, but I'm not 100% on that.
Guest skadoosh
I had no idea. That gives him a pretty instant and effortless win, then.
Guest Dr. Pymp(mex)
stop time on a whim? sounds lame like a DC comic usually is.

Marvel Man
Methos is probably right. DC likes to overpower their heroes. I've never seen GL stop time in recent memory, but I'm sure he did it back in the 70s and it's recorded in some obscure DC Wiki. As for why Hal doesn't do it constantly, it's because his comic would sell very poorly if he just spammed that move over and over again.
Guest skadoosh
As for why Hal doesn't do it constantly, it's because his comic would sell very poorly if he just spammed that move over and over again. Agreed. Troll-Hal would suck.
Guest sherminatortwo
Since this is the Hal Jordan version of GL can we assume he still has that weakness to yellow thingee. Ultron being basically a living computer might figure that out fairly easy. So GL better win this and win this decisively real quick.
Guest skadoosh
Is that still a weakness?
Guest sirmethos
Lol, no. He hasn't had that weakness for ages.
Guest sherminatortwo
Not sure that's why I'm asking. But remember this is Hal Jordan not any of the other Earth based GL's.
Guest Mike
Ultron is on a similar level to Cyborg Superman, who isf far more powerful than a single Lantern.
Guest sirmethos
Not so much, no. Cyborg Superman is considerably more powerful.
