Guest bigballerju Posted August 17, 2012 Share Posted August 17, 2012 Continued from Ryu Hayabusa vs. Lex Luthor Grifter, Livewire, and the evil Superboy clone kept up the assault on Ryu as the battle raged across metropolis. Ryu kept running across the city as his speed increased to the point a huge boom was heard as he shot right through traffic as people and cities were blown apart to make way for him as he approached light speed. Grifter lifted a 2 cars with his TK and threw it into the air toward Ryu who was coming toward him so fast he could barely see him. Ryu: Your going to have to do better then that. Ryu jumped into the air as he flipped over the first car while still running came going toward Grifter. The second car missed him as he rolled under it while super-speeding and while still moving at super-speed kept running again to Grifter. Grifter: Damn I have only seen Majestic move that fast. Keep still you son of a bitch. BAM! BAM! Grifter shot a couple of rounds from his guns rapidly as he hoped just one of them would hit Ryu by accident. Ryu: I heard about you Grifter. Former superhero. Why are you working for a evil man like Luthor? Grifter: Sorry pal but things ain't what they always seem. Don't take this personal. Ryu: I won't. None of Grifter's rounds came close to Ryu as from right next to Grifter a electric blast shot right toward Ryu. Ryu smiled as he dodged the blast while running toward the three men. Livewire: Shit. I can't even get one hit on this guy. Superboy: Let me try. Superboy focused his tactical telenkensis as the ground exploded beneath him as the explosion sent him flying into the air as he flew onto the ground. Ryu quickly tried to regain himself. Grifter: Finally about time we got the upper hand. Ryu: Don't be so sure. Cockiness isn't good for a warrior. BAM! BAM! Grifter shot two blasts toward Ryu as put his sword up and deflected the bullets with superhuman speed. The bullets aimed perfectly shot near a fire hydrant not far from Livewire. Livewire: Oh you gotta be kidding me... Water exploded from the hydrant as it some of it splashed onto Livewire. Livewire: No your asshole! Ryu: Having problems? Livewire: Screw Luthor. I am done with this. Livewire started short-circuiting as her power went down. Livewire flew off away from the battle as she had enough and quickly went to recharge elsewhere. Grifter: Okay I think I know when I have lost .... WHAM! Ryu super-speed right toward Grifter and hit 3 times before he could even react as he dropped to the ground with a black eye with blood coming out from his mouth. Ryu: I guess that leaves you? Funny you can't be Superboy I heard he was a hero. Then again alot of former heroes have been attacking me too so who knows. Either way I am getting those answers from Luthor so either get out my way or follow the same path as your other two allies. Superboy: They are not my allies! I am more powerful then either of those idiots and could crush you in a instant! Superboy shot toward Ryu in anger as he flew toward him at amazing speed as he went to punch Ryu. Ryu dodged it as he moved his head as Superboy punched the air as Ryu at the same time with his dragon blade sliced Superboy across the chest. Superboy flew past Ryu as he flew to the ground and got up as a huge bloody scar was across his chest. The evil Superboy looked in surprise and confusion. Superboy: Thats impossible I don't get it?! Ryu: Maybe your boss should have warned you first about what you were getting into. Ryu super-speed toward Superboy as Superboy flew him and hit Ryu twice at superspeed as Ryu flew into a nearby bus crashing right through its side as he laided in the seats of the bus. Superboy: Thats it your dead! Superboy flew toward Ryu and grabbed him from the bus and shot straight up into the air with him hitting Ryu repeatly as his fist slammed into Ryu's dragon armor he wore which covered his entire body. Superboy hit him again and again in the head out of anger as Ryu blocked most of the second series of hits with one arm that protected his face. Ryu who still managed to hold his sword in another hand as he stabbed Superboy deep into his shoulder. Superboy yelled in pain as he flew toward the ground fast as Ryu used Superboy for covered as they crashed into the ground. Superboy: How are you hurting... Superboy groined in pain from the wound on his chest and shoulder as he slowly flew off as well barely keeping himself from passing out to go look for answers on how he was able to be harmed. Ryu stood shocked himself that he was able to harm the Superboy clone as he stood up tired and bruised as he turned to face Lex Luthor who stood right in front of him who clapping his hands proud CLAP! CLAP! Lex Luthor: Excellent work. You are truly as great a warrior as the legends say. It seems I now have to uphold my end of the bargin. Ryu: I'm done with games. I want information and I want it now! Ryu yelled angry as he had enough of all the super-powered beings that were thrown his way. Luthor nodded in agreement. Lex Luthor: Yes no more games indeed. You see I will do you one better. I can't tell you who is responsible for your father's disappearance but I can tell you who kidnapped your father's friend Walter. In exchange you owe me a favor. Ryu: Now why should I trust someone like you? You still didn't tell me your involvement in all of this. Lex Luthor: One you trust me because you have no other choice. Two my involvement has nothing to do with you. You only concern is Walter and your friend? Am I right? Ryu thought for a second as he was angered and annoyed by the fact he had to make a deal like this with some one like Luthor. But he really had no other choice. He would do Luthor a favor in exchange for the whereabouts of Walter. Ryu: If I do this and you betray me in any way. Let it be known I am unlike Batman or Superman. I will find you no matter where you hide, who you have protecting, and kill you. Now what is this favor? Lex Luthor smiled as he knew Ryu would accept and was happy he accepted. He would use Ryu's skills for his own plan and didn't care if he gave up the name of one of his allies. His own plans were almost complete and he needed someone with Ryu's highly trained skills to cover up the loose ends. Lex Luthor: We will get to that favor. First as a man of my word you will be given the name of the man who is holding Walter. His name is Ra's Al Ghul and he has his own deadly league of assasins called the League of Shadows. His reasons for kidnapping him to me is unknown. But I do know he has hired a very powerful and half-blooded demon mercernary called Vergil to guard Walter at all costs. So you would have to enter the fortress which is guarded by the best assasins in the world which I have a feeling you would have no problem taking them out. Then make your way to Vergil. Ryu: What about this Ra's Al Ghul? Lex Luthor: He is busy in Gotham with Batman and won't be there. Its the main reason he has hired Vergil for the time being to protect his fortress. Lex Luthor: Ra's is busy in Gotham and not a concern. Ryu: How powerful and highly trained is this Vergil? Lex Luthor: He is the elder son of the demon knight Sparda so I would make sure you are well prepared and ready for a hell of a battle. When you return from this and are finished with your business with Walter I expect I will receive a visit? Ryu: Yes I will honor our deal. You have my word. Lex Luthor: Good I can provide your transportation without being noticed to Ra's Al Ghul's fortress. Once there you will be on your own. Ryu: Thats fine. Lex Luthor: Good you leave tomorrow. 24 Hours Later... The plane flew in under radar to avoid being detected as it had a cloaking device activated and had a electronic device that blocked any equipment for a couple of miles that tried to detect it. The plane minutes later landed on the sands outside Ra's Al Ghul's fortress far away so that none of the Vergil's fortress could detect it. Ryu stepped out the plane and began to move away very fast as he ran as he had the dragon armor he wore and dragon sword. Ryu made his way to the fortress as he slowly saw the huge castle fortress with the League of Shadow members at certain positions all over guarding it. Ryu made his way around the fortress as he decided he would enter the fortress from its rear and look for a lower entrance or opening into the castle somewhere. Ryu ran up behind the two guards in front of some black gate that lead somewhere as he grabbed one from behind by the neck and snapped it with a sudden twist as the man slumped to the ground with his super speed. Still in motion and before the other guard could react he grabbed a dagger off the one dead guard and threw it with precision toward the other guard's throat as it pierced the guard's throat front from the front as it buried itself deep. The guard holding his neck as blood came out fell to the ground dead. Ryu dropped the other guard in his hand as he made his way past the gate and entered some pathway inside the fortress. Ryu saw more guards as prepared. It liked he was gone have to do some work before reaching Vergil and rescuing Walter. --------------------- Ryu Hayabusa in his falcon armor, he has the one true dragon sword with the eye of the dragon, and any other weapons he may carry like he normally does. vs Vergil has all his weapons he normally carries including his sword the Yamato. Both men have all their abilities, powers, and skills. Ryu has to make his way throughRa's Al Ghul's fortress and find Vergil. Ryu has to kill or KO Vergil in order to get Walter. Guest Anarian Posted August 18, 2012 Share Posted August 18, 2012 I'll sadly have to hand this one to Vergil, not only will Ryu have to be outmatch Vergil in swordsmanship, he'll have to be dodging the endless barrage of energy swords vergil can sum up. Also, because of the fact that Vergil is practically invincible (the only thing that can kill him is the Demon King Mundus who's more powerful in power than anything ryu has ever faced) I'm pretty sure Vergil can take him. Lets see take it like this I'll agree that ryu is exponentially faster at moving, but Vergil is legitimately faster at the strike. Ryu is a expert swordsman and a jack of all trades when it comes to being a ninja. Son Vergil is a master *vulgarity*ing swordsman with the blood of sparda. Also one more thing that Vergil has on Ryu is the ability to teleport and Use his devil trigger.Now... casting aside lets evaluate ryu..He can take on any normal human being who's been trained in the arts of death, he can take on the demons that attack him no matter what height.. but It'll take him probably a little bit of time to decide which way he'll kill them or what's most effective. he's got smarts I'll give him that. He learns ninjutsu that takes a bit of time to cast, but are fairly strong and can (once again) kill people. If Ryu was a demon I'd say he has a shot, but unfortunately he's fighting a half-demon who can take on any of his opponents and defeat them in mere seconds. Demon's... he'll straight up kill them, ninja's? He'll sheath his sword and by that point these ninjas will be dead. Ryu tries to use his magics? Vergil will teleport away. Ryu tries throwing kunai? Vergil will spin his sword, catch them (like he does with Dante's bullets in DMC 3) or will conjure up a army of energy swords than can fire down on Ryu as fast as Vergil can think and throw them back at him at greater speeds than Ryu threw. Ryu tries shooting his bow? Vergil will dodge. Ryu get's up close and personal? Bad idea, really bad idea... Demon trigger and teleportation combined with a nano second burst of maybe 15 slashes=dead ryu. Literally Vergil beats ryu with only his Yamato, I don't even think he needs his Gaunlets or Force Edge to win, though if he did this would be an even quicker fight. The Sword with the Dragon Eye literally upsets the balance of the universe itself and has been used to to slay godlike entities and whatnot... Not only that but Ryu does have the power to teleport in short ranges and he's got agility that enables him to dodge a barrage of automatic weapons fire at close range with ease and pretty much enables him to leave after images of himself when he utilizes it - he's that fast. Lightning Reflexes. His heightened senses will literally enable him to keep a bead on Vergil in conjunction with his agility... and he's been trained in the use of the katana (which is what the True Dragon Sword is) from a very, very young age, not much unlike Vergil. He could even mimic Vergil's energy blades with his Art of the Vacuum Wave ninpo... If anything, Ryu Hayabusa is certainly capable of challenging the likes of Vergil and Dante and winning. @ BBJ, the Costume image you put down for Ryu actually looks more like the Fiend Armor - unless you meant The Legendary Falcon armor? 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If it were Dante it might be different due to the rogue factor of guns, but against a fellow swordsman I think he can come out on top after a battle that encompasses all of one-tenth of a second.
